    This is the condition of the faucet handle AFTER the plumber left.

    Plumber from Royal Flush comes to my mom's house to tighten handles on a faucet in a basement laundry room. There was no significant leak, maybe a drip every several minutes. But the handles are loose. I come over a day or two later and water is dripping at a very fast rate... could fill a bucket in maybe a half hour. Handles don't shut tighter than they are. A large puddle had collected on the floor where a hose meets the drain. My mom says she never checked their work, hasn't been in the basement, and was completely unaware of this. I call them up and tell the the problem, get a call-back from a technician (not the guy who actually did the work). I tell him the problem, I ask why didn't the plumber show my mom the work before he left. I say there's a big puddle on the floor, why didn't the plumber check everything and give my mom a recommendation. No answer. He says he doesn't know the extent of the problem, he's not there. He says to shut off the main water line because they can't come out until sometime the next day. I said, I'm using the water. The kicker is this guy keeps talking over me, and tells me, "I deal with homeowners like you all the time" meaning angry homeowners that aren't satisfied with the work they do or the answers they provide. I say, I'll send you a video to show you what's going on. I had taken a video of the dripping faucet and the water all over the floor. He says "you're full of baloney." Apparently this is how they address poor workmanship and unsatisfied customers. According to the technician, he deals with unsatisfied guys like me all the time -- an admission of incompetence from an employee of this company. Here's another issue. My mom wants the plumber during the same visit to fix low water pressure on a first-floor bathroom faucet. The handle on the faucet is shot, it's corroded and the hot/cold label has turned to dust. There's a brand new Delta faucet handle sitting there that fits that Delta faucet. The plumber doesn't say, hey, we should replace this handle. The thing is literally sitting there. I've included a picture of the old one. He actually worked on the faucet with this handle on it and left it! The photo I'm including is the condition of the faucet handle AFTER the plumber worked on the faucet. Yes! He actually saw it in this condition and didn't replace it with the new one sitting right there.

    Sal was extremely professional in sending out their repair person. However, the person who came…read morewas very unfriendly. When I asked him to wear a mask, he refused. When I asked him to check if there was a leak of gas from my furnace, he said everything is in good working condition and there are multiple safety measures to prevent any leak. But when I asked how to be sure there is no leak, he said that is a second step to measure with a meter and it will cost another $89. In any event, I didn't find him to be friendly and helpful to rule out my initial complaint. I did not opt for the second step. No second step for diagnosis was informed by Sal earlier. That said, I guess I must give the business a 5-star rating based on the professional scheduling and followup of the appointment. "One swallow doesn't make a summer' or "one bad day" is not a true reflection of the company. I am changing my rating at Sal's text request personally. It's only changed because I can understand Sal's concern as a businessman. He offered me free service in return but I declined it again. He got me wrong completely. My changed rating is only for the professionalism shown by the reception desk and their follow-up. It is not for the changed picture Ron gave that I asked if Ron wanted me to wear a mask. Who would ask that in one's own house? I was wearing my mask thoughout the encounter. As a 65+ year-old, I must be cautious. I don't need a service person's permission to wear a mask inside my house. Unbelievable. But I thought I must clarify to Sal's reply. Thanks Sal for your prompt response. But, isn't that a courteous way to ask ? - "You might want to wear a mask". He saw I was wearing one and he was entering my residence. Yes, I could have insisted but I think that is rude. Secondly, my complaint was "gas leak" and hence, the request to send someone from your company. I am not disputing any diagnosis. I just placed it before you, so it doesn't happen again.. I don't want any money back either. Service was rendered and I accept your company's policy. However, I thank the reception desk for immediately scheduling the appointment the same day. It was highly professional, including the update they followed up with. I commend you for that. Anyways, thanks for your immediate response. Much appreciated

Sals heating has been working on our boiler system since 10/20/25. From 10/20/2025 till 1/2026 Sals has charged us 6,102.00 On 2/10/2026 we were presented with two more estimates: 1) 3,627.00 for further repairs . 2) 18,180.00 total replacement of Boiler It is my fear that they feel an additional 3,627.00 will not fix the boiler in entirety so they included an estimate of full replacement of system. 2) Replacement of boiler system in its entirety: 18,180.00 We have moved on and will not be using Sals service for any additional repairs/work This matter will appear on your website reviews and am submitting to the BBB

It seems like their goal is to sell you on getting very expensive work done with them on their financing plans. We called to get a drain snaked and in a couple hours they were trying to get me to sign something to get 11 thousand dollars of work done! What's worse they were kind of strong arming me into saying it absolutely had to be done now and things couldn't be left as they were. The only reason I'm not giving them a one star review is I'm giving them some benefit of the doubt that it wasn't a scam and that stuff really does have to be done. My wife and I signed the proposal between $12k and 18k Once complete, Roto-evil-Rooter billed insurance just under 18K. The insurance adjuster called me and said the invoice was very high for the work performed. Finally, Roto-evil-Rooter agreed to just under $13k on the final invoice The insurance even went up $1k from what should have been paid to them! Roto-evil-Rooter attempted to ruin our 1 week vacation in Florida . I received an email with a balance billed invoice of over $ 4k. I was extremely upset since according to insurance I owed nothing I called Roto-evil-Rooter and explained my position . 2 days later greedy management sent me a email with intent to lien our property! I filed a complaint with the ohio attorney general the next day My position is you can charge reasonable and custonary and not rip seniors on a fixed income off. The claims adjuster stated Roto-evil-Rooter were using unethical business practices . Two days later I get a call from Management, I owe nothing DO NOT USE Roto-evil-Rooter, Management put me through hell while on vacation for no reason. I am happy they changed their position, however Roto-evil-Rooter has ripped many people off for greed.
