I hired them again several years later to do flooring in another room; they did such a terrible job…read morethat the tiles cracked when walked on the floor because the installer just put blobs of concrete onto the tiles without smoothing it out at all. This technique also led to a 1/2" gap between the tile and the drywall in the shower. They didn't ask what kind of edging I wanted either before permanently installing cheap plastic. The owner showed up on the first day of the install but then I never saw him again. He left some young kid at my house who didn't speak any English at all. He originally installed it going the wrong direction, wasting materials I paid for, and then became visibly irritated with me when he had to redo the floor tile. When I pointed out that the tile was crooked, the supposedly non-English speaker said, "No, it's not" and then waited until I left the room to disappear forever. I tried to contact the owner, Robert, several times afterward asking for help and then he blocked my number. Eventually I gave up and hired a different contractor to demolish and redo the entire thing so the floor tiles dont crack when you walk on them and the wall tiles wouldn't fall off onto people showering when we the foundation shifts with the seasons. Hiring Anna Flooring a second time was a several thousand dollar mistake. I don't understand what happened to this company.

Beware they pressure clients to modify bad reviews.** Warning! All American Flooring knows how to look like friendly flooring experts, but it's a sham. We've done floors before and got second opinions on AAF's project. A professional flooring company will prep and level your subfloor and correctly install new flooring on top. AAF does none of this, and tries to pass off shoddy workmanship as legitimate, which renders their warranty worthless. They tack on fraudulent charges if they think they can get away with it. When we pulled up our new floors two months later for repairs, we discovered AAF had added at least $626 in fraudulent charges: plastic sheeting that was missing and $500 of imaginary grinding. AAF does no leveling/flattening, but failed to mention this until after installing our laminate in rooms with low points of up to 1/2". *Installing on a subfloor that is not flat will damage the new flooring, so professional companies do not do this.* AAF said in particular they do not level wood subfloors, but they were also unknowledgeable in basic flattening, like sanding, shims, or extra underlayment to even out the floor. AAF insisted our floors met their standards, and they could not do better. Our project manager said if we wanted flat floors, WE HAD TO HIRE A SECOND COMPANY TO DO THE FLATTENING! (It was standard flattening. The company that did it was surprised ours could not do it for us.) AAF also installed everything incorrectly. Floorboards separated. Stairs were crooked with visible gaps. An incorrect transition piece was installed. Excess glue was pushing up the floorboards. All of these problems and more were present EXCEPT the board separation (which appeared just after) when AAF inspected our floors four (4) times and told us they met NWFA standards. Boy, they tried hard to convince us their shoddy workmanship was fine. I wish I could share everything I recorded, because it's hilarious. Their tactics included: using levels incorrectly, confounding levelness and flatness, saying some fixes would "void the warranty," saying that AAF "always" leaves gaps in their stairs, and they "can't touch the baseboards" (their words). We asked for the industry standards they claimed they met. The standards did not match AAF's work or words. Example: Acceptable unevenness is capped at 1/8" over 6ft. We had low points of up to 1/2". Another ex: The installer is responsible for leveling/informing the owner of any problems leveling BEFORE install. Confronted with these facts, AAF finally agreed to minimal repairs. We asked them to send appropriately skilled contractors this time, but when the contractors showed up, they said they saw nothing wrong and nothing they could fix. We had to have the boss call them and tell them they were authorized to fix the shoddy floors. Then they immediately pointed out the incorrectly installed pieces and said the floors were uneven and the stairs looked "unprofessional." So their contractors are trained to pass off AAF's shoddy workmanship, too. No wonder AAF pushed for us to pay 100% upfront. I guarantee they never would have fixed anything if we had already paid. They refused several times and tried ghosting us for 6 weeks. AAF eventually realized we knew about contractor fraud and attempted more extensive repairs at the last minute. They sent their best team to reinstall flooring after the other company did the flattening. This third team tried to fix way more than AAF had said they would. The quality was heaps better, but still not great (see photos). It made me nervous that they were attempting extra because we knew their low skill level and self-proclaimed lack of experience with subfloors. Some of their fixes were not the wisest for this building and will likely cause problems later. AAF reluctantly agreed not to charge us for the staircase since we will need to have someone redo it a 3rd time. They asked for a 3-star review in return, but we informed them a 1-star review is appropriate for a poorly skilled, deeply dishonest company.

He worked efficiently and got a few rooms restretched within a few hours. Everything looks much better (no thanks to the original carpet installers) and even the creased up areas I didn't think would come out are looking fine. He also helped with another issue in the house, a kitchen floor chip, at no cost. I did a huge amount of homework and had 3 different and well recommended flooring companies come out to assess the situation and give me their quotes. All 3 were knowledgable and could have done a solid job on this work, but Ted stood out among them as particularly capable and experienced (not just an age thing, but the way he talked about the work). Of the 3 companies who came, 1 of them didn't even mention leveling or prep work, 1 of them mentioned it but said he didn't know what the house would need, and only Ted was specific about it off the bat and pointed to one area that he could eyeball as needing additional prep. I could barely see what he was talking about when I looked closely but it was just obvious to him. He was also the only one who thought to talk to me in advance about different options for where the floors and baseboards meet. I'm not sure what the other companies would have done or were assuming, but Ted took ample time to talk through running the floor directly to the baseboards versus using stained quarter round, and mentioned that if the thickness changes and the baseboards have to move lower, painting will be required to touch up above them. Ultimately Ted's vision for the project spanned end-to-end and I felt very comfortable that he was telling me everything I needed to know. Ted also made the process very easy for me. No black box of "let me take this back to my office and send you an estimate a week later." Ted knows his stuff and was able to calculate the cost for me before he even left, though he did send me a formal quote after. In fact, he sent me 3 formal quotes, since I decided to explore porcelain tile, LVP, and engineered wood to see how all 3 prices compared across all 3 companies I spoke with. In the end, all the prices were pretty close to each other. I get the sense that none of the good flooring companies around here are pretty much in line with their rates and how they charge (that is, around the same material/labor costs and trying to make a little profit without being greedy). So of course I went with Ted given how well our conversation and follow-up calls went, and he did not disappoint. The finished product turned out great. We went with LVP (luxury vinyl plank) in the whole house (except bathrooms) and Ted and his guys made it look awesome. Oh, and they finished 1 or 2 days ahead of schedule. Couldn't have asked for better work!

They were here for over 7 hours and helped move our furniture out of the rooms and also move back following the install. The carpet looks amazing and we opted in to the plush memory foam padding which adds a more luxurious feel in all the bedrooms. Also, the quality of the carpet is exceptional and super easy to clean out stains simply with some warm water. The pricing and value was great. They spent some time to make sure everything was installed correctly (on about 4000 sq ft of flooring). Per the discussion it sounded like my price should be under $400 but instead it was several hundred more after all the 'add-ons' he charged for. He charges extra for the 'seam glue' and other supplies (good luck guessing how much he'll charge you for these beforehand) as well as extra for each transition, 'base not raised', and other absurd line items that should all be part of the original base quote. I realize that people need to make money, but this left a complete bad taste in my mouth and I felt like I was lied to. Worst part is after the over-charging, the work isn't really that good. I can easily see where he cut the carpet at the thresholds to tighten things up -- big gaps that should have been much cleaner. He also doesn't clean up after himself. I had shredded carpet parts everywhere including long inch wide sections that were cut out and left behind after the stretching. There were even multiple small nails left for my kids to step on. He kept trying to upsell a full steam carpet cleaning as that would 'fix the transitions.' Not a chance I'm spending more $$ with this guy. Steer clear.
