I cannot state the amount of dissatisfaction over today's order. Ordered on line through Yelp. Ordered takeout. Selected my items, and was informed order would be ready between 11:20 and 11:40. Did checkout and now said order would be ready 11:29 to 11:49. Order verified via text at 11:03. Text states they will text when order is ready. I arrived at restaurant at 11:29. At 11:58 I entered restaurant and waited 3-4 minutes for a hostess to help me. She went to back, a 2nd hostess also offered and went to back. Third person a few minutes later comes out, says we couldn't text mr since it was a Grubhub order (NOT!!), why would I order takeout through Grubhub??? Receipt says Togo, receipt from Atomic Cowboy? Who are they (Not Denver Biscuit, not the pizza place sharing the site but a third entity)??? Obviously food was cold!! A lot of holes in you online process, communication. I was happy to see DBC open up in my neck of the woods! Love this place for breakfast! Very busy everyday and I know why. Great service and delicious food. They offer a full bar and even have a self service coffee bar. I've been here several times foe breakfast and made friends with the staff. They are very professional and courteous. Always happy to interact with you. My favorite is the shrimp and grits biscuit. I've tried a few other dishes which were delicious as well. Recently I found out that they now offer Fat Sully's famous pizza. They even have a drive-thru for pickup! You don't have to park to pickup your order! This place does fill up fast, always busy for breakfast. Steady during lunch and dinner. They are advertising more about the pizza side. Please come support a locally-owned business and it's great staff! They have a large patio too. The full service bar has lots of locally-owned choices of brews and liquors. I very rarely post negative reviews -- but a warning. Went to eat there today. We love the food. We checked in and were told very clearly that the wait would be 30-35 minutes. After 40 minutes I went to check and a different hostess said "no -- we have it down 75- 90 minutes." We chose not to wait. I understand mistakes -- but the snarky attitude of the second hostess was unbelievable. The sense was -"we have other customers. Not our problem. We could care less." No apology or any sense of responsibility for the mistake. Very sad for such a great place. Lousy attitudes by staff. Went to Original Pancake House instead. Great choice. The first time I went to Denver Biscuit Company, I was amazed to see a Full Patio, Full Inside (looking like pre-COVID) but here is the reason why it was so awesome to see - I was picking up food, as it was raining outside. Not a downpour, but absolutely raining nevertheless. I have never in my entire life actually witnessed people sitting outside, "enjoying" their meals in the rain. After hearing a few raves, finally seeing it open in the old Steak n' Shake, I tried the Denver Biscuit Company for myself. Honestly, I was pretty skeptical about the high reviews but after the first bite I turned in to a believer. Stephanie, our server, was very helpful. For my first time, I wanted something classic but with a kick. She recommended the Franklin sandwich but swap in the Nashville-hot chicken. Perfection is an understatement. The mushroom gravy was to die for and the flavor profile of the sandwich was enough to finish me for good. I usually steer clear of the swine but even Moses seemed to give a subtle look of blessing over the bacon. It's been a long time since I wrote a review. Let's just say that my once cherished "Elite Status" was ripped away from my BBQ sauce covered fingers, let's just say that Yelp hasn't been at the top of my list! But, I have been back on the road and enjoying a wide variety of food from coast to coast, and the DBC has brought me out if retirement! So enough chit chat, and what the actual F Yelp, I deserve the Elite Status for 22! OKAY, for real this time... If you have read any of my reviews, you know that I am rooted in all kinds of foods, but damn do I love a good take on Southern Classics, and DBC is doing just that. The Sherman is a throwback with my childhood favorite Duke Mayonnaise! Yes, they actually order it in from the South East and add it to this bacon, tomato (I leave off the lettuce) and bacon sandwich. It's a real as it gets, I of course add an egg to bring me back home a bit, but damn if the utilization of Dukes mayonnaise doesn't complete the trip down memory lane for me. My partner in crime is obsessed with biscuits and gravy and the Franklin does not let you down in any way. Thick gravy, added an egg, and of course double dipped it in that gravy! Next was something we both didn't have room for, but my love for Strawberry Shortcake was just too much to let slide. We took the advice of the Server, and upgraded the biscuit to biscuit French toast, and I am here to tell you that the combination should be damn illegal in the state of Colorado! That all being said, the restaurant, the location, the service, and the food is EXCELLENT. For the biscuit fanatics, they were thick, flaky, moist but not too moist, crusty edges, and delicious! I was surprised to see DBC ONLY rated at 4 stars. We came today and am now not surprised. We ordered one of the sandwiches as Nashville hot, it didn't come that way. They took the extra $1 charge for it off the bill. No big deal. We were offered a cookies and cream milk shake for the snafu. Apparently it's good but people don't order it and they needed to get rid of it anyway... the milk shake wasn't brought up again or provided :( water was never refilled either. The food was good. The chicken sandwich and burger were warm wish it came as hot as the fries. We've eaten at other DBC, they're hustling and tip top. This location seemed quite quiet and not up to the DBC standard. I got the Strawberry Shortcake with the compote on the side ( I eat slow and was worried about the biscuits getting soggy) The whipped cream was light and fresh, not sweet at all! The compote was definitely house-made and again not overly sweet! My husband got The Beeler sandwich: Nashville hot chicken, house pickles, and ranch dressing. He loved his sandwich as well. We were really excited to see one of our favorite places move in so close but we won't be back to this location until they work out some issues. After waiting an hour, my family and I were seated at a black metal table outside in full sun. The table was too hot to touch and quickly melted the kids crayons. I asked if, because if this, we could be moved to a different table as one became available. We were told no, unless we wanted to put name at the end of the now hour and a half wait. So we sat it out, and the whole visit was very uncomfortable. Very lacking in terms of both planning and customer service. The food was good, but it was the overall experience that made me knock off more stars. First, we joined the waitlist online, got there 45 minutes after joining, and still had to wait another 30 minutes. The food came out super fast which was great, but then the waiter began rushing us. He brought us a to-go box and the check while we were still eating. We had waited so long for a table and then got rushed 10 minutes after our food was brought. The biscuit itself was really good, but I'd probably try another option on their menu next time. Went here for wife's birthday, since they just opened up near Highlands Ranch. It was a rainy Monday morning & the place was still packed, but we were greeted & seated immediately. Unlimited coffee in cool mugs, it's help yourself, & all the coffee fixings are at the coffee bar. Service was great, she was extremely friendly, and we never needed anything! The food came really fast, it was fresh, hot & delicious! The biscuits are huge, you can get them as the bread for any one of the many dishes, or with your breakfast. I got the biscuits & gravy, and it was excellent ... and very filling! They close at 3pm everyday, so make sure you go for breakfast, brunch, lunch or even an early dinner!!! read more

WOW. Holy smokes. I came here with a couple of my girlfriends this past weekend for some Sunday Funday vibes and we had an amazing experience. We ordered lots of stuff off the menu. I made a custom biscuit sandwich with sausage and cheese and also ordered a fried chicken club biscuit and both were perfect. The chicken was moist, the bacon was tender yet crispy, and the spicy ranch had heat while also giving the sandwich a creamy balance to complement the crunch of the chicken. The sausage on my custom sandwich appeared to be a handformed patty which was super flavorful, seasoned, and girthy. McDonald's could never. The biscuits on both sandwiches, however, were the star of the show. Flaky, buttery, and thick, the biscuits melted in our mouths while also staying intact -- incredible considering just how big some of our sandwiches were. Hands down the BEST biscuits in the U.S. Our waitress was also excellent and friendly and fun, checking on us a good amount and making wonderful suggestions throughout our entire visit. Side note: we also shared the cinnamon roll which will instantly erase Cinnabon from your memory. read more
