Not only was it not piled high, there was no pastrami at all & less roast beef than what u find on a McDonalds kids burger. Bread tasted like it was day old. 5/1/24- I had seen this place over the years when I went next door for popcorn, but had never stopped in. Then I was surprised to find it open one morning and stopped in. The worker was really friendly and made suggestions on what to try. They serve breakfast all day. It was totally worth the stop. My sandwich was really good and the bread was amazing soft. read more

There is another turkey one we get with Dijonaise but I can't recall what it is and that one is also excellent. Great service, hot sandwiches, and decent pricing. I really want to say I how fantastic this place is because the customer service is awesome. Unfortunately that's not what will make a customer a regular when your food is subpar! I went in the other day and placed an order to go. We ordered the midtown breakfast sandwich and the sausage egg and cheese sandwich. Midtown: Kaiser roll was great, egg was over cooked, they were out of olives so there were none which they told us after paying while making the sandwich.... the avocado was not even 1/4 an avocado and the tomatoes were absolutely horrible! Sausage egg and cheese: Kaiser roll was great, egg was way over cooked, sausage was 1/2 the size of the roll, tomato added was horribly over ripe, and cheese was enough to bathe in! I'll be honest and say I probably wont return. The tomatoes were so red and mushy they looked like ketchup but were definitely rotten. I am very disappointed because the customer service was great! All the guys working were so personable but the food was just not great. read more

How have I not visited this place?! I've driven by here so many times and have thought it was some chain restaurant. After reading through some deli recommendations,I saved deli zone to my list. Luckily I was in the area this week and dropped by. It's a hole in the wall. I think there may be a few seats available if you need to eat there. Otherwise, I got my sandwich to-go. I ordered the Manhattan through their recommendation and holy goodness! The pesto mayo is delicious. Creamy, a little salty, and just the right amount of flavor to compliment the turkey. The bread is soft with just the right amount of chew. This delicious sandwich was under $10, I will absolutely be back! read more

Went here to get breakfast sandwich, and I'm glad I did. I had gotten the Baby King sandwich (I replaced the sausage for bacon, scrambled eggs, toasted hash browns, and American Cheese). I just grabbed lunch at this new location. I believe it might have been opening day. What a great sandwich! Fresh and high quality ingredients...can't beat that. I went with the GUILIANI: Grilled Genoa Salami, Pepperoni & Ham with Provolone Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, Banana Peppers, Roasted Red Peppers, topped with Oil & Vinegar. F-ing delicious! I really liked how the meat was actually grilled...along with the banana peppers. I usually end up picking off half of the banana peppers on sandwiches...but not with this one. I ate them all...mostly due to the fact they didn't put a ton on like some places. And, the peppers were grilled as well. Genius. On the down side, the place is super small...only about 5 booths and 2 tiny tables. It got a little crowded while waiting for my sandwich...I do believe my ass was almost in someone's face while they were eating. And then while I was eating I too experienced the joy of an ass with my sammy. There's just a lack of waiting space there. But the food definitely makes up for it. You always know it's a bad sign when someone actually signs up for an account just to vent about a bad experience. Well this bad experience was a joint venture by Deli Zone and GrubHub (a local delivery service). This was my first time dealing with either and I felt fairly confident that it was a good choice. I rather foolishly put a 15% tip on my credit card (since pre-tipping is required when ordering online), and submitted my order at 11:22pm. I recieved an email stating that the food would arrive around 12:30. A bit over an hour, not bad. However, I ended up waiting nearly TWO hours, and when the delivery personnel arrived, she handed us a piece of printer paper with orange highlighter scribbled all over it, and asked me to sign. Sign what? What am I signing for? This isn't a receipt, its a kindergarten art project. That's not the biggest issue, I can get over that... A longer wait is a price to pay when you're working from home and too lazy to go out and retrieve the food yourself. But I would only be able to dismiss this in good conciense, if the food was good. And guess what, it wasn't. First of all they somehow managed to get our order wrong (using the wrong bread on two of our sandwhiches)... For real? I ordered this online, not over the phone - so there is no excuse that my accent could have been misunderstood (which by the way, I have none). Then, I actually began to eat the food. OMG.... Really!? I am NOT picky, I like just about anything, hell I even continued to eat McDonalds shakes after I found out there was sawdust in them. But when I looked at the first sandwhich I was excited that there was artichoke on it. Wait a minute, that wasn't artichoke... It was a dry piece of grey sickly looking chicken. On a sandwhich that was bland and desperately needed some MSG (at this point I stopped caring about my stomach lining). And the cole slaw? Well they got the slaw right- it was basically cabbage avec slime. The worst part... I love me a sammich, and these cats have gosh darn good sammiches. I've been there a few times now, preferring the Manhattan, but also trying the Pastrami on Rye and Meatball sandwhich. (which was a mistake to order, but a pleasant mistake) Service can be a bit slow, it's small, (although they offer outdoor seating when it's nice) prices are decent, but the sandwhiches are very good with great ingredients. I've been going to Deli Zone for quite some time now. Their subs are always good and they recently started a customer loyalty card so you can get a free sub after your 9th. Although I haven't tried a wide variety of their menu, the subs I have eaten are on-spot.
