There was a huge gap in the middle and then on each side of the fender and it was driving me nuts every time I saw it. I tried reaching out to several highly rated shops online including American Autobody. I either got no reply to my email about it or even in one case, the shop owner said his toyota had the same issue and he wasn't sure how to fix it. American Autobody responded and told me to come by so they could take a look which I did a few days later. They seemed confident they could make it look quite a bit better so after a few months of waiting, I scheduled time to get it in the shop and also decided to have them remove a door ding from my driver's side. The door ding is completely gone and the bumper looks so much better. The people at the shop were friendly and the price wasn't bad either. Next time I have a need for any body work or if anyone asks me of a good body shop, I'll be referring them to these guys. Pics attached of the original issue.

I brought my brand-new 2025 truck to 360 on July 13th for a few small dents on the driver-side door…read moreand paid $1,900 for the repair and to match the truck's sheen. I picked it up July 21st and everything initially looked great. One week later, the repaired door became noticeably duller than the rest of the truck. I contacted 360 and brought it back on August 5th. They refinished the door, but the exact same issue returned 11 days later. I contacted the owner, Frank, and brought it back a third time. I picked it up August 29th. Shortly afterward, the driver-side door began getting stuck and would not open normally. On September 19th, I had the same issue again and could clearly see that the interior door was damaged and the pins were not lining up properly with the door frame, creating a crack. I contacted Frank, but received no response, so I went to the shop personally. Frank insisted they never removed the interior door panel and refused to take responsibility for the damage. When I asked why my brand-new truck had never experienced these problems before their work, his response was, "Maybe because it's a work truck?" It is not a work truck; it is my personal vehicle. When I expressed my disappointment, Frank became hostile, repeatedly cursed at me, and told me to " F*** you, get the f*** off the property." As I was leaving, he followed me out of the parking lot in a black Chevrolet truck. After paying $1,900 and making multiple trips back to the shop, I expected the work to be done correctly and the business to stand behind it. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend 360 Auto Group. If you use them, I strongly recommend thoroughly inspecting your vehicle and documenting everything before leaving the property.

I was especially upset because this was the exact area that Rock Collision had repaired for me just a few months ago. When I called, they immediately told me to bring it in so someone could take a look and see if anything could be done, maybe even buff it out. When I arrived, Frankie came out personally, buffed out the transferred red paint, and made the damage look so much better. He also pointed out two small spots where the paint had chipped and explained that they would need touch-up paint. He even told me exactly what to ask the dealership for and said that if I didn't feel comfortable doing the touch-up myself, I could just bring it back and he would help me with it. This level of customer service is rare these days. Rock Collision truly cares about their customers, takes pride in their work, and treats people with kindness and honesty. It's refreshing to do business with a company that is both highly skilled and genuinely compassionate. I highly recommend them to anyone needing collision repair or body work.

Jon Poche did a nice job; always delivered what he promised; when promised. I was a return customer. But now Jon appears to be nowhere in sight; has apparently left the business to Jacob; and now it has gone to hell. I took in my lovely Lexus sedan for a $4,000 rear-end-repair job; and this was my experience: (1) I was told the job would take two (2) weeks. It took five (5) weeks. Without explanation. (2) When directed to pick up my car any time after 3:00 p.m. Friday; I was upon arrival at 3:15 p.m. told by Ramon that it would be at least another 90 minutes; and Monday morning would be better. I waited. (3) When handed my keys at 5:00 p.m., I found the interior absolutely covered in dust!! Jacob and Ramon then cleaned up this only-too-obvious mess. What body shop would return their customer's car with the cabin covered in dust? (4) 5:15 p.m.: One more attempt at departure; only to find my seat belt retractor was broken. Jacob and Ramon had to call Rocky, who found that the retractor spring had not been re-attached securely. Incompetence. In short: Jon Poche no longer visible. This shop has gone down the tubes. This past weekend on the way to San Antonio, a pickup truck launched something at my car which…read moredented the left front fender. Aggravated that my car got hit I started looking at Yelp for reviews for paintless dent repair shops and luckily I found the 5-star rated Elim A Dent. I submitted an online inquiry through their website on Sunday and first thing early Monday I receive a call from Wendell asking for some photos of the damage. Next day I am on the phone scheduling a service call for today, Wednesday (today) with his tech Stan. When i arrived at the dealership they were working at (easy to get to from my work), both gentleman greeted me and assessed the damage. Stan told me he could get the fender back to 95% and they also picked up on another dent some kind person left in my passenger door. They quoted me a very fair price; said it would take about an hour and Wendell took me over to the dealership waiting area. Lo and behold, after about an hour Stan drove my car back to me and it looks good as new. His 95% = 100% in my book. Both repairs were done perfectly and I am totally pleased to have my baby back in shape. Very happy with the service, both Wendell and Stan, and the price. Beautiful color, but unfortunately, with the model year being 19 years ago, and only that one year, Yamaha quit making the spare parts years ago, and none were available worldwide. Trust me, I looked. What was available were the same parts from one of the less desirable years and colors, so I bought 2006 parts, in Cobalt Blue, and went looking for someone to paint them. Based on Paint Perfect's fantastic reviews, I ventured north to Florence to see Tanner, and asked if he could make the parts the right color, so I could get my FJR back together again. This location is always extremely busy. I believe there is a high turnover rate at least with the…read morefront desk because everytime I came to pick up my car keys it was a different lady running the front desk. (I dropped off my vehicle 3 different times. All within a six month period.) I will say that they do honor the work that they do complete on your vehicle so the year warranty your given you can return if you have an issue and it will be resolved immediately. I was lucky because the two different times I had to have my vehicle repaired one was due to hail damage and the second time was another car side swiped my entire passenger side of my vehicle. I had to have both front and rear doors replaced. Had to have the doors adjusted three different times because after the repair the door wouldn't shut completely useless the door was slammed which I couldn't stand to have to tell every person that rode in my vehicle to please open and slam the door shut. There was issues with parts being delayed by the manufacturer which honestly Caliber does not have any control over that. Insurance companies drag there feet when approval is required before parts can be ordered or even your vehicles repair can begin. Which again Caliber does not have control over. I recommend always have rental vehicle covered under your insurance when you need to have a repair done because that will make things less stressful and easier on yourself if your a daily driver and need a form of transportation to make a living everyday. No matter how hard and how much hard work was put into making me vehicle look brand new again... The truth is anytime your vehicle is in an accident don't expect it to ever be the same because it is nearly impossible. I will say that forms of communication email, text, and calls I was very appreciative of. I didn't ever have to call and check on the status of my vehicle. I was given an update and kept informed about every part during the repair process which I really enjoyed.

So I put it off for several months. However, the painter's situation in Austin only got worse as inflation reared its ugly mug. After contacting a dozen painters, I found one shop that only wanted to fix the dents and do some spot painting for 8 to 10 grand and a second shop that estimated a minimum of 20 grand to do an entire paint job. There was no way I could afford or would tolerate those ridiculous quotes. One of the other 12 painters was a one-person shop named Wendall's Autobody and Paint in my town, who said, "he was busy but that I should call him back in a few weeks." Needless to say, I was frustrated, but one day, while traveling around town, I called Wendall and asked if I could bring the car by for him to look. My wife and I went by his ranch property with goats and chickens in the yard and an oversized work garage, and an hour later, I had hired a painter. We thought it would take him at least 2 months the paint the car, but he had it finished in 5 weeks. He gave me an unbelievable price, and I gave him a well-deserved bonus for exceeding my expectations. My wife and I also had a great time chatting with Wendall at his rustic shop, where he does incredible work. I highly recommend him as a standup painter and person.
