This location is always extremely busy. I believe there is a high turnover rate at least with the front desk because everytime I came to pick up my car keys it was a different lady running the front desk. (I dropped off my vehicle 3 different times. All within a six month period.) I will say that they do honor the work that they do complete on your vehicle so the year warranty your given you can return if you have an issue and it will be resolved immediately. I was lucky because the two different times I had to have my vehicle repaired one was due to hail damage and the second time was another car side swiped my entire passenger side of my vehicle. I had to have both front and rear doors replaced. Had to have the doors adjusted three different times because after the repair the door wouldn't shut completely useless the door was slammed which I couldn't stand to have to tell every person that rode in my vehicle to please open and slam the door shut. There was issues with parts being delayed by the manufacturer which honestly Caliber does not have any control over that. Insurance companies drag there feet when approval is required before parts can be ordered or even your vehicles repair can begin. Which again Caliber does not have control over. I recommend always have rental vehicle covered under your insurance when you need to have a repair done because that will make things less stressful and easier on yourself if your a daily driver and need a form of transportation to make a living everyday. No matter how hard and how much hard work was put into making me vehicle look brand new again... The truth is anytime your vehicle is in an accident don't expect it to ever be the same because it is nearly impossible. I will say that forms of communication email, text, and calls I was very appreciative of. I didn't ever have to call and check on the status of my vehicle. I was given an update and kept informed about every part during the repair process which I really enjoyed. read more

I cannot recommend this body shop. They did a poor job on my vehicle and didn't advocate for quality repairs. They were willing to settle with the insurance to do just enough. Our vehicle's tail gate was damaged after being rear ended, and they would not blend the paint since there was already sun damage on the section that was not repaired. When I picked it up, the gate was not closing properly, so they pulled it into the garage and they made an adjustment. I had to bring it back a couple of weeks later for another minor adjustment to get the gate to properly close. Ultimately, it never actually closed like it did before getting rear ended, so I had to get insurance to approve getting it properly fixed at a different shop where they found serval issued with the initial repairs that had to be corrected and did work that had been neglected, including blending the paint on the rear gate. read more

I scheduled an appointment with this location solely to get an estimate for some minor damage on my vehicle. When I mentioned this to the man assisting me, he seemed uninterested and even suggested I should just wait for Progressive's estimate instead. He said it would likely be the same, but I wanted to explore my options before deciding on a repair shop or if I even wanted to move forward with the repair at all. While he was friendly, it was clear he didn't want to be bothered with an estimate. He also explained how insurance companies prefer to use used parts rather than OEM parts, but I've gone through this before and was able to request and receive OEM parts in the past. I didn't appreciate being told what I will or won't get for my own vehicle. Just because you say it, doesn't mean I'll accept it. I'm extremely disappointed that I took time off work to come here and left without an estimate. It felt like a waste of time, and the service was lacking. I had a broken mirror on the passenger side, Caliber Collision quoted $1,186, saying the entire mirror assembly had to be replaced. I paid the bill up front, they ordered the mirror, then they called and said the mirror cost more, another $800 more. I told them to refund my money, and I called another shop in Georgetown, they looked at the mirror and determined only the mirror glass needed replacing, total cost was $211. Caliber is ripping off cash, customers, and insurance companies, don't deal with them. read more

To make matters worse, the repair job was done poorly and there were parts missing from the car when i got it back. the service advisor's excuse was that the part was on backorder. Kept calling back to see when it was coming in only to be told that is was pushed out another week. It got to the point were i had to sell the car because of all the annoyances from the faulty repairs. The customer service from this location is nonexistent and full of lies, and to top it off the work was not even completed when I arrived to pick up my vehicle. If you can avoid using this location I highly recommend going elsewhere. 3.14.2025: I dropped my car off and the estimator I was assigned to, Rick, was too busy to come out and speak with me. 3.17.2025: On Monday 3/17 Rick called me and said he had begun looking at the car and would call me back on Wednesday 3/19 with an update. I never received a call. 3.21.2025: On Friday 3/21 I received a text stating that the "repairs are coming along nicely." The portal that was sent through the text said the eta for pick up was April 11th which was concerning considering it took about a week to replace my bumper earlier this year but to replace a door would take close to a month? This is where I messed up by not calling constantly asking for updates. I should have been more proactive in making them update me. 3.25.2025: On 3/25 I received a text stating the car was being prepped for paint. So, I assumed it would be done in the next couple of days. 3.28.2025: On 3/28 I called and asked for an update. The receptionist who answered the phone, Cynthia (I think), said Rick was unavailable but it looked like the car was being "recalibrated". Rick returned my call around 11 am, 3/28, saying the car was not being recalibrated and was actually complete and that he was waiting on proof of payment from the insurance company, and anticipated having it that afternoon or Monday morning, and that he would call me back. I did not hear back from him. 3.31.2025: I called Monday 3/31 and Rick said he was still waiting for proof of payment. Shortly after the call I received a text stating my car was ready "Your Nissan is complete and ready to get back to the rhythm of your life." Here is where things really went downhill fast. I called Caliber and the receptionist sent me to Ricks's phone, it rang and rang with no answer. She then picked back up and said Rick was finishing a call and she would let him know I was calling. Again, I sat as the phone rang and rang. She answered again and said Rick was still on the phone and asked if she could help. Once I explained that I wanted my car since repairs were complete. She then said they were still waiting and that they were busy, and Rick was at lunch. Okay, so was he on the phone or at lunch? I asked her to have Rick call me back and if I could talk to Ricks supervisor. That's when she got attitude and said he was out of the office all day so I asked if he could call me the next day and she said fine. I then called the insurance company, and she said she had emailed Rick proof of payment and then forwarded me what she had sent, and sure enough she had attached proof of payment. I also noticed that Caliber had just sent her an invoice either late Friday 3/29 or early on Monday 3/31, which I find strange since on Friday morning Rick said they were just waiting for proof of payment and not still billing. Rick called me back at 2:59 pm stating he was still waiting for proof of payment. When I explained that the insurance company had already sent proof of payment, he then said oh well our system is down so I can't confirm, but that he would call me back soon with an update. He called me back at 4:59 pm saying the system was still down and that he would call me the following day. 4.1.2025: On 4/1 Rick called me in the morning stating he still didn't have proof of payment but didn't need me to email it, that it needed to come from the insurance company. At this point, I was so sick of the lies and excuses I hung up. I called back around 12:30 and was told Rick was at lunch and the supervisor was still unavailable. The same supervisor who never returned my call the day prior. I then left a voicemail with the corporate office. Lea from the corporate office called me back around 2ish. Lea was amazing! She was calm, and polite and explained everything. I emailed her the proof of payment the insurance company had sent me, and she said everything looked good except there was still one invoice needing to be paid that had just gone out. So, at this point, I realized the reason Rick had been stalling was that Caliber was likely not done billing. They were waiting for proof of payment for invoices they were still sending. Lea told me she would email the supervisor and request they release the car because of all the inconveniences (aka lies). During our conversation, I missed a call from the supervisor (Tyrell). I returned his call and got a total used car salesman vibe. He said they needed proof of payment. I told him Lea from the corporate office had sent him a message with all but one of the proofs of payment. The email I had been offering to Rick all week. He asked if he could call me back after he read the email. This was at 2:50 pm. By 4:30 pm I still had not heard back from him, so I called again. I used to advocate and advertise for this workshop, but unfortunately my experience this time was nothing as good as my previous experience. 1) Communication / Setting expectations I was told my front bumper was going to be replaced so both damages, including the fix related to the current claim, and a damage that was on the other side of the bumper were going to be fixed, so I was happy with that and that was what I expected, to have my car completely fixed. That was not what happened. After removing the bumper you decided it could be fixed instead of replaced, and decided to fix only the side that was part of claim, and did not communicate to me neither gave me an option to maybe open another claim to fix the other side or even pay an additional fee to have it fixed. That was very frustrating getting to the workshop and seeing half of the problem solved and that what we agreed on the first day was not accomplished. Worse yet was having to hear from your team that you need to pursue what is best for the insurance company. 2) Quality control / Correct fix - The fix in the door was bad executed and caused a new dent in my door. I had to show that to your team, what should not be necessary. You should have a quality control and let that no happen. The customer should not have to point you a defect in your service. I left the car to be re-worked and it took more 13 days, that was a really bad time frame to have a dent fixed. I was delivered the car in a rainy day and couldn't see the dent anymore, but as soon as I put the car in the garage I could see the dent is still there when there's enough light to see it. You should really instruct your team to use the lights to check the dents. That's very unfortunate. - My son drove the car home, since I was with the rental. When we arrived home, he told me the car was showing a "Keyless access key problem" message in the panel. I researched about the problem to find that there is a sensor inside the door for the keyless access. Again, lack of quality control. I had to disassembly the door and plug the sensor correctly. 3) Timeframe The first try to fix had a good timeframe for the delivery, but the rework was very bad. Even I had to call multiple times to get updates from you since you stopped communicating to me. 4) Insurance communication You did not inform the insurance that you were re-working the car and they stopped paying my rental. I had spend lot of time calling the rental company and the insurance company to solve that. read more

This was the "certified" repair place from my insurance and boy what a mistake! Here are the issues - Car was absolutely filthy when we picked it up, the inside was (is) covered in paint sand off. My wife's clothes where dirty from driving it home. Couldn't really see it when we were picking it up excuse it was dark and cloudy (took it back for a re-clean and it mis still not clean) - They dented the side of a door that was newly painted (they did fix it) - Scratch another door (they did fixe it) - Scratch three windows (which still haven't been repaired) I get things happen and they started off on the right foot fixing things, but it was added hassle and time we didn't have the vehicle and we still have damaged they caused that still ins't addressed a month later. read more

Very disappointed in the care the people involved with my insurance claim provided. When the car was taken in for an estimate, which took two weeks for an estimate, the person handling my insurance company complained about being overworked and would get to it this week. We were informed it was 48 hours, gave them 72, yet still got a lack of professionalism. In addition, I was not sent the estimate. It was sent through the insurance company filters. By they way, I own the title of the car. No bank or other 3rd party to protect. Car was to be totaled by insurance company despite the repairs being less than the value of the car. Totaled reimbursement by my insurance company was still more than quoted repairs. I chose to retain the car and then engage with Caliber Collision to honor their quote. I do realize there are contractual prices/discounts. I was told they could not repair the car, out of my pocket, because the insurance company totaled the car. Their repairs, despite what ever business model the insurance company is using, is not relevant. This is now a straight customer to vendor discussion. What is even more disappointing is that the person making this decision, chose to use a proxy to deliver the message. I could almost hear them laughing it up when they hung up on me saying they did not want my business. Yes, I was unhappy, but not disrespectful nor degrading. I was unhappy that I could not be a customer, which was willing to pay their cost, because of some agreement, they would not explain, with an insurance company, which was no longer involved. What a bummer. I had a "minor" collision when I was backing up in a parking lot. My insurance suggested I take my car to Caliber. Their first estimate was $3,600. After they took the bumper off, they adjusted the price to $7,100... almost twice the cost! When I picked my car up from Caliber the windshield had a crack in it. I pointed that out to the service advisor (Miguel), and he said he'd talk to the manager about it. I didn't hear anything, so I emailed them. Again, I received no response. Thanks guys. These people are either corrupt or flat out incompetent or a combination of both. Took my car there for two damage claims last week in Georgetown TX, they only sent me one estimate. You email and call them to discuss the estimates and schedule the work and you get no response back. I would not trust these guys to put a bandage on my finger let alone repair my car. A little background, Got in a minor fender bender. My baby's teeth & mouth were messed up pretty good (the other ford superduty truck had no damage to his ball hitch lol) Anyway, drove in to Caliber Collision, they wouldn't see me without appt, fair enough. Heritage Body & Frame in Cedar Park said they could squeeze in an estimate (very awesome of them). Went in, they work with my insurance & gave the estimate, but they couldn't get me in for 2.5 wks which would have been close to christmas. It had been raining a bit, and apparently I wasn't the only one who travelled too close to a vehicle while the roads were slick. So they were all backed up. I had to keep looking but their estimate worked with any other company that worked with my insurance. So that was awesome too. Ok, finally to Continental Collision. Called them from the parking lot and they said they could get me in to repair the following week since they had the estimate from this guy. I was a little skeptical cuz... why aren't they as busy?? But at the same time I thought... who cares, they can fix it a week sooner! Any who. The communication was ok. I did have to email the rep back a couple of times while they ordered the parts. I couldn't be given a drop off time until they did that but that was still the time frame they gave me. Trudy was very nice and helpful. It was the end of the week and still parts hadn't all arrived. I was starting to get worried. So i called and asked how much longer it would take. I heard her talk to someone and she then told me to go ahead and bring in the truck. So that was nice. So I took in my Ford F150 Platinum truck . It's my baby.. Brand new since February! Yea I suck as a truck parent cuz 1. I broke her teeth, and 2. was taking it to a place that was not good enough to be booked. It took a few extra days because there were additional parts needed. Understandable. They still got it done before the earliest date the others gave me. Went in to pick her up, brand new shiny teeth. She had been detailed inside and out. No nook & cranny detail of course, but it was a nice touch cuz they even washed out the heavy duty floor mats (those suckers are not fun to take out). Best thing: Their work has LIFETIME warranty for anything minus wear & tear of course. I was very impressed with that. They did an awesome job & my truck looks like nothing ever happened and, had I not posted it all over FB, no one would have ever known! read more

Cailber Collision is a perfered repair shop by my insurance company Liberty Mutual, I was so pleased with the finished product, my car looked like it had just rolled out of the dealership show room. I had hit a brick wall and dented both of the passenger side doors. Two moths later as I was driving down IH35 in Austin, some big object hit my car and put a huge dent in the side of the car that had just been repaired. Laura Huges the service advisor I had worked with before saw to all of the repairs again, and my car looks great. The repair shop is so professional and knowdgeable I highly recommened them. A+++ Went to Caliber because I was rear ended, which caused minor damage to my bumper. Called on a Wednesday and was told I could go ahead and take it in, on that same day, to have an estimate done. I was assisted by Jason, who was super nice and helpful. As we all know, any kind of issue with your vehicle can be frustrating/stressful (Caliber made it anything but those things). I was told I could go ahead and leave my car (on that same day) so they could get started on it. Jason let me know that the car would be ready early the following week and kept me informed of what was going on. Sure enough, on Tuesday that next week, my car was ready for pick up! I called this shop and was able to get an appointment fast, on the next business day. I came in 30 min early and the front desk got a hold of Brian immediately; service advisor for my repair. The story is that 6 mos ago, I went to the Braker Lane Caliber to fix a door ding and it looked good but I needed the Georgetown location to do warranty work on the paint job. In a one day turnaround, the paint job was fixed and they cleaned the interior, washed, waxed, and buffed the exterior.....even though the area to be fixed only involved the rear passenger door. I am EXTREMELY HAPPY with their service. My car looks fantastic and I would definitely go back! read more

I tried to be as patient as possible but my patience has wore out. I don't want to speak negative about all Caliber locations but if you plan on using the Hutto Texas location good luck. I highly recommend avoiding them. I know it was a covid year last year so I understand things take longer for unforeseen reasons. But I am on month 8 and still don't have my truck completely back to normal. First of all multiple completion deadlines were missed but I let those slide due to the pandemic. But during the process they would not order my custom lights even though I was told they would. Something about they cant do that anymore on their own accounts. So I had to buy them, drive over and drop them off and then file a separate claim with insurance to get my money reimbursed for my lights. After multiple delays I was given my truck back there was multiple missing decals. Backordered and delayed. My truck bed cover was also delay. No issues, just thought I had to wait a bit longer. 8 months later and multiple decal orders incorrect I still do not have my decals completed. My bed cover finally came in. I had a quick connect kit so I did not have to drill any holes in my truck. Yet again caliber messed up. Didn't order the right stuff and the installer they contract to drilled necessary holes in my truck bed to put on a cover that I had a quick connect kit for. After I received by truck back, neither or my visors would stay up. They reinstalled them incorrectly and luckily Ford fixed that for me for free when I had my truck serviced. Additionally my over head control panel had severe vibration noises after caliber reinstalled it. I had to have ford fix that as well. Needless to say this is the worst repair I have every had in my life. Since the repair I have noticed so many other little things that were not right that I had to fix myself. I personally wouldn't wish what I went through on anyone. This facility lacks attention to detail and repair ownership and responsibility. I will never use Caliber Collision in Hutto ever again. The quality and responsibility is non existent but the excuses and blame others tactic is plentiful. Beware to all who are thinking about using them. read more

I had several scrapes and scratches on the back of my SUV due to the garage door closing on it. Prior to going to Caliber Collision, I had gotten 2 other estimates, one was $1900 and the other $1815. So, yesterday I dropped by Caliber Collison without an appointment to get an estimate. The woman who greeted me told me that they were busy and short on staff, but she helped me anyway. She looked at my car and told me she thought the scrapes and scratches might be able to be buffed out. She immediately had one of the guys do the buffing and it looked good as new! Cost: $40. Thank you Caliber Collision for honestly assessing the damage and offering an alternative to a high priced repair, and for saving me $960 ($1000 deductible minus $40). Getting your car hit in a store parking lot is awfully aggravating, but having the damage repaired was relatively painless thanks to the good folks at Caliber. I called for an appointment and got one for the next morning. I was met by Jason, who was courteous and professional as he prepared my estimate. We had an awful time working with the insurance company of the woman who hit us, but the folks at Caliber made many calls on our behalf to help things along. When the repair was finally approved we were able to get the car in the shop immediately. The repairs were completed earlier than their initial estimate, and the work was beautifully done.
