This 1 star is based on my interaction today with Dr. Tim Wang. I started coming to this dental office on 02/20/26, & up until now my experiences with both the front & back office staff have been positive; especially with K'Ashley (RDH) & Dr. Kathy Hua. However, my appointment today (03/18/26) at 7:00 AM with Dr. Tim Wang, the oral surgeon (independent contractor), was extremely disappointing. He displayed a complete lack of bedside manner & was noticeably rough while administering the injections to numb my gums. It was clear he did not allow enough time for the anesthetic to take effect before proceeding. The discomfort escalated to the point where I had to physically push both him & his assistant away after repeatedly expressing that I was in pain. His assistant, Gabby, was also rough when using the tool to hold my mouth open. Overall, the experience was frustrating & unacceptable. If I need another extraction in the future, I will choose to travel the 30+ miles back to my previous dentist, Dr. Vo at ABC Dental or Mint Dentistry, unless this office brings in a different oral surgeon. read more

Came here because of their reviews. I live like 25-30 minutes away but decided to make the drive because everyone else's reviews were terrible. I saw several reviews about people talking about how they have anxiety for dentist & how they were treated well. As someone who has severe anxiety for dentist I can definitely confirm that the care is amazing. The doctors work in a fast & timely manner & the DA's are well trained & friendly. I can't remember her name but during treatment the DA noticed my lips were dry & put Vaseline on my lips. I was so grateful she did that because I felt like my lips were going to rip! The front desk staff are also very nice! Even though I put them through a lot because I requested nitrous for each appointment because of my fears, & also being a grown adult, they never made me feel judged or bad because I requested it. The only thing I would improve is that one of the DAs had semi long acrylic nails & could feel her nails poke me inside my mouth on my gums when she was placing a suction bite block in. Also a very clean environment, I made sure to check the suctions to make sure they were clean & everything is spotless! 100% recommend! read more

I had a very concerning experience at this dental office while visiting Fort Worth. I scheduled a routine 6-month cleaning and waited approximately 45 minutes past my 1:30 appointment with little communication. Upon being seen, I was immediately met with a rude and confrontational tone from staff, including being told there were notes that I had been "rude" when scheduling--this is completely inaccurate and appeared to affect how I was treated. I have over 20 years of experience in the dental field and am very familiar with standard protocols. After reviewing my X-rays, which showed no bone loss, I was told I could not receive a regular prophylaxis and was instead advised I needed a deep cleaning. The justification provided was a single 5mm pocket around a wisdom tooth. All other readings were within healthy limits. I was also told there was bleeding during probing, which I know did not occur. Based on my clinical experience, this recommendation did not align with standard periodontal guidelines and felt more like an upsell than a necessary treatment plan. Additionally, the doctor did not intervene when staff spoke to me in an unprofessional manner. I came in for a straightforward cleaning and exam that was advertised at a low cost, but was instead pressured toward treatment costing several hundred dollars without clear clinical justification. After this experience, I reviewed other feedback and noticed similar concerns raised by multiple patients regarding unnecessary treatment recommendations and poor communication. Unfortunately, this did not feel like patient-centered care, and I would not recommend this office based on my experience. read more

Stay away from these guys they will not cooperate or honor insurance providers like United Healthcare. We made an appointment as new patients and they said they would confirm insurance coverage well in advance of our appointment. They called us while we were driving to their office and said they couldn't confirm coverage. We were three minutes away so we went in and gave them our insurance card. They called someone but said we were not covered. When I called United Healthcare 30 minutes later they said they had no calls from this provider and that we were absolutely covered. When I called back they said they would not call the United Healthcare number provided on the card they have their own and we are not covered. They did try to have us proceed with the appointment to pay hundreds of dollars for basic cleaning and additional for x-rays. We could join their plan if we would like to but they would not confirm ours. My wife had knee surgery and was required to take antibiotics in advance of the appointment which was a total waste. Can't speak to the quality of the dentist but the front office is horrible!!! read more

I have terrible anxiety when it comes to dental work, My past experience with dentists has been nothing but a train wreck. I've had failed extractions, a tool lost inside my sinus cavity, dishonest staff and a lot of pain... I was so relieved to find Dr. Hoffman, she is so warm, patient and calmed my nerves immediately. Not only did she communicate clearly what I needed and how she was going to help me and do so with causing little to no pain, they also offer a comprehensive and affordable payment plan to cover everything I needed done. The fact that they offer same day crowns is amazing. I was so happy to have all my needs addressed same day. I walked in afraid of the dentist, and left feeling happy and excited I went, I will certainly be going back for all my cleanings and preventative care. Thanks to Dr. Hoffman and the wonderful staff at Dentists at Chisholm Trail I can smile again. read more

I told her I wasn't sure and ask her where I would be able to see that on my card because I remember seeing something on my card. But she was so in such a hurry to get me off the phone. By far the best dentist office I have ever visited. All the staff was so respectful, sweet, and gentle. They told me what procedures they felt were right for me and went over pricing and a timeline that works with my insurance. They made sure I knew that I was in charge and they wouldn't pressure me to do anything I was uncomfortable with. The technology they have is great! The mini camera they used helped me see areas of issue in my mouth. I also have an overactive gag reflex but the staff was so patient with me and waited for me anytime I needed a break. I am used to having dentist visits be a shameful and painful experience but I know I won't have to worry about that here. read more

What a business sell job at this place. They try to sell you on so many things you don't need and generate $$$$$. Not sure where these other people went but not the same place I went. Deep cleaning for $200 and and every 6 months, my insurance didn't cover anything. we have a national plan everyone takes. the deep cleaning is worthless after a couple of days. been doing 2 a year cleaning for many years and insurance covered it. The front office lady comes in and gives you a big time sales pitch not wearing a mask and gets right in your face. Kept us waiting for over an hour. Went to another dentist to get second opinionated guess what??? Would never recommend or go back there. Lots of other choices around town. read more

I am very pleased with my experience with Dr. Hoffman and the staff at Dentists at Chisholm Trail in Fort Worth TX. I was experiencing a dental emergency and they were able to get me in right away. The office itself is brand new and sparkling clean. I was greeted by Allison who was extremely kind and welcoming. The friendliness and professionalism of the whole team was outstanding. I usually suffer from pretty severe dental anxiety, however, Dr. Hoffman was very understanding and patient, and was able to quickly put me at ease. She has excellent communication skills and took the time to answer all of my questions. I was treated with kindness, dignity, and respect by Dr. Hoffman and her team. I have been to dentists in the past that I feel exaggerated what my needs were in order profit more from my visit, so it was a huge relief to find a dentist with integrity. I do not have dental insurance at this time and they were very accommodating and were able to work with me to find the best payment solution. I highly recommend Dr. Hoffman to anyone looking for a dentist who is caring, compassionate and personable. read more

I moved to Fort Worth about a year ago, and haven't visited the dentist since then. Allison at the front desk was so friendly and making the appointment was easy. They also emailed me the digital medical forms so I didn't have to sit and fill them out in the office! I had a pretty bad cavity that I was worried might need a root canal, but it turned out I just needed an inlay. They were able to get my teeth cleaned and get me the inlay both on the same day. Dr. Hoffman and all the staff were so friendly and comforting. If you're afraid of the dentist you need to come here. I needed to get a shot and they use a numbing gel so I barely felt it! Dream dentist's office! This place is high tech, cutting edge, yet they prioritize customer relationships. They were one of the only dentists around who were in network for my DHMO plan. Then after they did an inlay for me, the tooth next to the inlay wound up chipping, and they filled it at no cost to me! Just a courtesy! Amazing people. I recommend them to anyone. read more

Dentists at Chisholm Trail is truly one of a kind. I was very pleased with my experience. I have had a lot of anxiety when having dental work done in the past, but everyone I came in contact with in the office quickly made me feel at ease. From the time I walked in and was greeted by Alison, to getting my xrays done, and during the entire process with Dr Hoffman, I felt very comfortable and secure. I had a lot of questions, and Dr Hoffman was very patient and took the time to explain things to me. I have never had such a pleasant dental visit. I had been very insecure about my teeth and didn't like my smile, but now my smile has been completely transformed by Dr Hoffman and I can't stop smiling! I have already been recommending to family and friends!
