VaLinda is always a pleasure to work with as she is very professional, calm and knowledgeable. Dr. Patels clinic is always very clean, and organized. Prior to getting started, Dr. Patel explained everything to me ensuring I understood our treatment plan for that day. Dr. Patel completed some extensive dental work, and he always made sure I felt NO pain!! One of the many impressive qualities of Dr. Patel is that he may be treating several patients at the same time, but He always made me feel like I was the only patient in his clinic. Dr. Patel and his amazing team made sure that all of my needs were met, before and after treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Patel and his team for any future Dental care needs. Terrible experience…read more I normally do not leave reviews, and I am usually willing to let a bad experience go without saying anything. However, this experience was significant enough that I feel it is important to share what happened. This was my first visit to Fort Worth Dental. No dental treatment was provided. I left the appointment without receiving the care I came in for, yet the practice still submitted a claim to my insurance. During the appointment, I was accused by the dentist Dr. Pham three separate times of drug use based on the condition of my teeth. I do not use drugs. I also do not believe the condition of my teeth was severe enough to warrant such an accusation, particularly from someone who had no knowledge of my dental history. What I found especially unprofessional and ignorant was that, after I corrected the accusation, it was repeated rather than acknowledged and moved past. As a patient, you have to trust your dental provider to listen to you, respect you, and approach your care professionally. I felt that trust was violated during my very first visit. Patients should be able to seek dental care without being subjected to unsupported accusations, particularly when those accusations are repeated after being corrected. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this practice to anyone who values being treated with basic respect, professionalism, and trust. The dentist was confidently incorrect and made the entire situation extremely unprofessional.

My mother (age 76) saw this dentist and was told she needed major dental work replacing old crowns…read more The doctor created a plan that would have required work on almost all of her teeth. She was told they would sedate her and do it in two phases (top & bottom). She was quoted $16,000 for the first phase and then they helped my mother open a line of credit to pay for it all. Thankfully she called me before she had the work done. I took her to my trusted family dentist when she came for a visit. Our dentist took new x-rays and said that in fact NOTHING they recommended was necessary. She also reviewed all of the billing codes they quoted and found questionable billing throughout - many codes were duplicated/unnecessary. She said what they wanted to do was absolutely criminal, and she is planning to report this practice to the TX State Board of Dental Examiners. I'm disgusted that someone would take advantage of an elderly patient like this, and I'm also left wondering how many times they've done this before. Terrible.

I had to check it out. The reviews were amazing. They all seemed to be five star reviews. I have had many problems in the past with Dentist and I have avoided them since 2013. By now my mouth is a disaster zone. The quality of care from the beginning was top-notch and they are very understanding and gentle with you. You get a wonderful experience when you arrive, greeted with smiles, and everyone treats you with respect. They seem to know that you're going through some issues. They are even more gentle if they know you've had problems in the past and you might fear the dentist. I'm happy I found this place and I look forward to the work that's going to be done here. I am extremely disappointed with the way I was treated by Nicole when I called to cancel an…read moreappointment. I was genuinely very sick and not well enough to come in. I was not canceling because I changed my mind or had something else to do. What makes this experience even more upsetting is that the office was working me in as an emergency because I have been having significant tooth pain. That pain is already difficult enough to deal with, and I am also concerned that it may be contributing to or worsening the migraines I have already been struggling with. When I explained that I needed to cancel because I was too sick to come in, Nicole's immediate response was to inform me that there is a $50 cancellation fee, followed by saying that she would "go ahead and waive it" for me that day. While I appreciate that the fee was waived, the way the conversation was handled felt completely lacking in compassion. There was no acknowledgment of how sick I was and no apparent concern about the tooth pain that was serious enough for the office to work me in on an emergency basis in the first place. What bothered me even more was that Nicole did not initially offer to reschedule the emergency appointment so that the tooth pain could still be addressed promptly. Considering the circumstances, I would have expected someone to say, "I'm sorry you're so sick. Let's see when we can get you back in so we can take care of that tooth." Instead, I felt like I had to be the one pushing the conversation forward while I was already sick and exhausted. I then asked whether I could simply keep my original appointment, which was not even until October. Nicole told me she would have to check whether there was availability. After checking, she offered me a morning appointment. I explained that I have to work, and she then mentioned another time after I get off work the following day. But again, there was no sense of urgency about getting me rescheduled because of the dental pain. That is what frustrated me the most. Patients are not just appointment slots, cancellation policies, or $50 fees. They are human beings, and many of them are calling a medical or dental office because they are sick, frightened, exhausted, overwhelmed, or in pain. Healthcare is one profession where compassion should never feel optional. Someone can absolutely follow office policies while still treating a patient with kindness and empathy. Unfortunately, my interaction with Nicole left me feeling that empathy was sorely lacking. When a patient who was scheduled for an emergency visit because of significant tooth pain calls to say she is too sick to come in, the response should not begin and end with a cancellation fee. There should also be some concern about getting that patient taken care of. People working directly with patients need to remember that there is a human being on the other end of the phone, and they may have no idea what that person is dealing with at that moment. A little compassion and an offer to help reschedule an urgent problem would have completely changed this interaction. Instead, I ended the call feeling more frustrated and uncared for than I did when I made it.

I called Legacy Dental on a Monday morning and they were able to get me into the office by 3pm that same day. I absolutely HATE going to the dentist, so I had incredible anxiety about going, but the staff and Dr. B were so nice and welcoming. He answered every question I had (I had tons of questions). I was able to get a temporary crown and meds to help my pain for a couple of days, and then I came back to the office to get my permanent crown on Thursday. I love that this office is able to make your crown within the same day. Dr. B was extremely gentle with numbing my mouth, he walked me through everything that he was doing, and his staff was the exact same way, kind, gentle & patient. I was able to walk out of the dentist office with my mouth restored. I would recommend this office to anyone within the Burleson, Crowley, Joshua area.
