Do not go here! They outright lie to your face and will recommend procedures not covered by insurance. They tell you insurance will cover the procedure, only to discover that it is false, and you pay the full amount. They dared to try it again with another procedure. Went to another dentist who said the procedure was not needed. I repeat, do not go to this dentist. If they recommend any in-house procedures that will cost thousands more dollars, get a second opinion. You will thank me! read more

Returning patient...While sitting in chair waiting to have work done, I was approached with document to sign saying I agree to pay total expense up front and Stone Ranch would then file my insurance and reimburse me when they received the insurance check. Stone Ranch received total credit payment within a week. Re: Insurance Company; 5 weeks later insurance was filed; another 7-1/2 weeks pass, I finally received my insurance payment. For 12-1/2 weeks Stone Ranch operated on my money along with my paying a larger monthly payment to credit company. This can be verified by my insurance company. BEWARE: If you must go to Stone Ranch for dental work, insist on paying your bill after Stone Ranch files your insurance and your bill will reflect said payment. Bonnie H read more

The Stone Ranch Dental group is not a MetLife Federal network member. After 20 years of being part of the MetLife network they now are not. You now will not receive the free checkups and cleans in fact they now charge you 258.00 for cleaning and exam with MetLife Federal Dental. They did not inform use that they are not in the MetLife network anymore, which if we known we would have not scheduled and used the Stone Ranch Dental Group. So for all with MetLife federal Dental be aware the Stone Ranch Dental group is now not part of MetLife network. read more

Very Horrible Billing Relations. Dentist claims I have outstanding balance the day before teeth cleaning appointment and demands payment before they can see me the next day. I have been going to Stone Ranch for over 6 years. Dentist (Dr. Kubo) and I agreement to my cost with insurance for an Orthopedic Bridge which I paid in FULL over two years ago. I received text message from Peighton today 11/04/2024 demanding payment for "written off" outstanding amount. Why has this matter not been addressed at my former minimum 4 teeth cleaning visits at which time you could have shown me the actual billing and let me know where I did not pay what I agreed to under the treatment taken and agreed to. TO GET A TEXT MESSAGE DEMANDING PAYMENT FOR SERVICES 3 YEAR AGO OR WE DONT SEE YOU ON YOUR APPOINTMENT TOMORROW IS NOT OKAY!! I have not received any billing for this unknown amount in the mail and your office has not spoke with me in person at any of my previous 4 visits. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! Peighton was eager to accept my request to cancel my appointment at my reluctance to accept her version of me owing your office money. We were patients of Dr. Kubo for approximately 20 yrs, including all 3 of our now-grown kids. We never had a complaint regarding the treatments or billing. Dr. Kubo would take care of what needed to be done and then "watch" what could wait until later down the line. No pressure, always professional and personable. However. when we went in for our annual checkup in 11/23 we were not told that Dr. Kubo had retired until we were seated with the paper napkin clipped to us in the chair. (Not on the phone when we made the appt. because our original appt. time was rescheduled by them (red flag!), not at sign in, but as we were seated.) My dental hygienist talked the entire time and tried to get me to rate her on Google. Is this not something that at checkout the office could say, we hope everything today was satisfactory and since we are under reorganization, we would love for you to give us a google rating? So yes, I felt violated sitting in a compromising position while getting my teeth cleaned to listen to someone trying to do a sales job on me about why I should give her a good rating on Google! My husband's hygienist hardly said a word to him and was very professional. Then fast forward about 6 months and we receive a bill for my husband. Pretty much like some of the ones you see in the reviews. Seems Dr. Kubo was in network for my husband, and this new dentist was not "in network" until 14 days after our appts. Do you think if we knew that at the time, that we would have gone to the appts or at least my husband would not have - he would have waited. Also, during Dr. Kubo's tenure, we were more local and less than 10 minutes away from the dental office. We now live about 40 minutes away. We were told that Dr. Kubo came in on Fridays every once in a while, and that he golfs on Wednesdays (which was the day we were there) because that's a better golfing day.... clearly, Dr. Kubo was retired. After our check ups, on the way home, I tried googling Dr. Kubo and he was nowhere to be found. It's more of lack of honesty and integrity, my hygienist and my husband's out-of-network bill! that we made the decision to search out a new dentist closer to home. Dr. Marvel is hands down the best dentist I have ever been to! I have had severe anxiety in my past experiences with other dentists, but she made me feel comfortable and at ease during an emergency root canal. The staff is friendly and attentive. Dr. Marvel did a two root canal on I believe #3 & 4 (My upper eight sides ). IT WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD IN MY DENTAL LIFE (no stranger to dental work) .... this was Aug 17, 2017 and roof of my mouth has hurt ever since the !! My experience here was awful. The dental hygienist was rude and incredibly rough through the X-rays and numbering my gum pockets. I've been going to the dentist for my entire life and have never felt continous rough mouth pain like that and I almost had to ask her to stop. She gave me all 4, 5 and even some 6s even though I'm 25 years old. I was shocked. Then to top it off said that they couldn't do a regular cleaning and that a $600 deep cleaning was the only option. Concerned with this information, I walked out without any cleanings and went and got a second opinion from a more reputable doctor in Fort Worth. According to this hygienist (who was much gentler!) I had all 2 and 3 without a single 4,5 or 6 and that they did not think a deep cleaning was appropriate but rather a good regular cleaning and scaling. Moral of the story: RUN FAST, and get a second opinion! read more

Radiant Smiles is ahhhhhmazing!! I have been going to see them for the last 2 years and I will NEVER go anywhere else. I have had extensive work done in the back of my mouth and during each visit I was comfortable and well cared for. My first time at RS I was extremely anxious as I had not been to the dentist except for once before when I was 9. Now when I go in there is zero anxiety or worry. One might even go as far as to say that I enjoy going now. Crazy, right?! I know that I am in the best hands available and that my comfort will always be top priority. Excellent! Best dentist in Dfw ! The staff is very helpful and friendly . They make you feel comfortable from the start of your visit until the very end . The best part is they just don't want your money , they really do care about you and your dental health and they work with you if you need to make payments . He asked if I wanted him to tell me about what he was doing as he went or just do it and not tell me. I opted for the latter of the two options and that's what he did. Not only do they trap you into fees you don't know about, but the dentist does terrible dental work!! After he claimed to be finished we went for a second opinion on the work that was done, and my tooth was so badly damaged the second dentist had no choice but to put me under and remove it!! Now they still call twice a year to tell me I missed my new appointment and I owe a $35 dollar fee! read more
