Treatment went fine, can't complain about Dr. Schroeder or the staff but upon finishing treatment they have you sign a payment plan for your retainers: I signed a 2 year payment plan. What they don't tell you is that it auto-renews so when the 2 years elapsed they continued to charge me without my authorization. They would not refund the money they charged without authorization. read more

As a teenager I had a bad experience with my orthodontics treatment, so when looking for my children, I wanted to make sure we found the best in the area. Dr. Schroeder came highly recommended from friends and he did not dissapoint. While taking my son for a consult he was very attentive and knowledgeable about the best treatment plan for him. After discussion, I told him about my bad expereince as a teen and how I've never been happy with the results. Dr. Schroeder took a look and got me in for my own evaluation. As an adult I didnt want to go into braces, but he assured me that he could get the results I was looking for using invisilign trays. After a little over a year of treatment, I can say that my teeth have never looked better. Not only was he able to deliver the results I was looking for with my son, but he was able to correct problems I've bene dealing with for the last 30 years. My wife was so surprised by my results that she also entered into treatment to fix some crowding in her lower teeth, and in less then 12 months she could smile with confidence. Today my daughter started treatment and I can say with confidence, if your looking for great results and a cutting edge Dr. who is both knowledgeable and attentive- then Dr, Schroeder is where you should go. Dr. Schroeder is the best in the business! I had to have a top row of braces and expander for the beginning of my treatment, and then a full set of Invisalign and I felt taken care of the whole time. I simply love this man! He came to my Elememtary school 27 years ago and did a big talk with the students about dental hygiene. He constantly gives back to our school district and neighboring ones as well. Each year he buys every teacher, in the whole district, a pizza dinner! He is the orthodontist for both of my girls and he is extremely careful and thorough! They both love him! His office is so fun! He caters to kids AND adults! Blast from the past; this was my childhood orthodontist! Everyone who was anyone in the GCISD school district went to Schroeder for their braces. I always left my appointments (of which I had many, a result of constantly fidgeting with my braces much to the chagrin of the nurses there) with tons of free swag. So many kids had a Schroeder Orthodontics t-shirt at my school that it might as well have been a school uniform. In all seriousness, if you're going to spend hundreds on braces then you might as well get the royal treatment. Schroeder's had the best game room (when I was a pre-teen it was equipped with an N64 and PS. I bet you anything they at least have a wii, now) which was separate from their waiting room. They always had coffee and baked treats for the parents, an electronic check-in system (state of the art back in '02), even an annual party at the local roller rink (officially dating myself as an 80/90s brat now). I was always treated pretty well (being a regular and all), the only painful incident happened when one of the assistants snapped a spacer inside my mouth (ouch!), but clearly I got over it. Moms, pay attention: Dr. Schroeder used to be one of Dallas/Ft.Worth's most eligible bachelors back in the day and pretty much resembles a genetic splice between Saved By The Bell's Zach Morris and Slater. read more

Best orthodontist to which I have been! Excellent doctor and assistants that are extremely nice and willing to help their clients. The only complaint that I have is the office hours. It's a great inconvenience when an Invisalign attachment falls off or a wire snaps in half, and you are unable to stop by the office for an immediate fix that would take 15 minutes. This can result in an extra week in an Invisalign tray, which only lengthens the process even more. Other than that, I definitely recommend Schroeder Orthodontics. read more
