Dentistry 2000 is an amazing place!!!! After not having positive experiences in the past with dentist, I decided to try this office, and I'm beyond happy that I did!! I'm currently pregnant and as you can imagine limited to certain procedures and medicine, but Dr. A and his staff have been so wonderful and careful that I know they have my best interest at heart. I needed to get a deep cleaning with no anesthesia (no fun) BUT Christine did an AMAZING job and was so sweet and accommodating. She was constantly making sure that I was ok and giving me the opportunity for breaks. Dr Assadian is the most kind person, not to mention the kindest dentist ever!!! He is so well practiced, an expert in every way!! He knows what he is doing and gives you many options that he feels are best for you, to choose from. His demeaner is calming, meditative and just a very caring individual all around!! It's been a lot of years since I've gone to a dentist. So I was pretty nervous the first visit. It's a top notch clean office. The clean/sterile procedures are just that. They unwrapped the clean instruments in front of me on a tray. Dr. Assadian is by far the best dentist I've ever been to. I've never had a fully corrected bite. Now I do! He is very gentle. Also he is with you for the whole time of the procedure. Other dentists do a little and walk out for at least 10 minutes. Then they have you come back again and again. Dr. Assadian does the work and keeps at it until it finished. Marcos and all of the staff are professional and courteous. For the first time in my life, I'm not afraid to go to the dentist! i rarely do reviews, however, it has been eating at me for several months. i chose this dentist because they took delta care insurance and had relatively good ratings. especially compared to other delta dentists. i felt i need to set the record straight. it is true, dr assadian is charming and continually asks how you are doing. excellent "bed-side" manner. i just went in to have my teeth cleaned but the doctor found many things that needed attention. since i was leaving on a cruise to hawaii the following week, he convinced me i needed two crowns immediately and should not wait. it was expensive but the insurance rate was reasonable for crowns. however, the day before my cruise, when i went to get the permanent crowns put in, i was told the lab had to do an upgrade in the material for the crowns and it would be an additional $800. he said they called over the weekend to get authorization but he didn't want to bother me. if i had not been leaving for vacation the next day, i would have refused and gone to another dentist. he claimed it was a far superior crown and worth the money and agreed to split the $800 with me. i felt totally scammed at his mercy. same thing happened to my husband. paid more than double for his dentures. buyer beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

I'm not sure how this place has 5 stars, I went in for my semi annual cleaning. That is not what I received. They took x-rays, and then made me wait for the dentist, when he finally arrived his breath stunk and he hounded me to buy his office products for a half hour!!! I spent a good hour there, telling them I did NOT want their products! How can you trust a dentist office that is dirty? I could see yellow goop on the light piece they use during exams. They told me my total was 380$ (for a teeth cleaning, two products, a mouth guard for God knows what, and then my cavity??) and I would not be getting my (what should be free) teeth cleaning. Instead they pressured me into paying for a deep clean!!! I've never had this problem any where else, and this was the worst experience ever. They wasted my time, and my x-rays! I had to switch my entire family over to another dentist. I would not let those people touch my mouth after walking around with the same gloves on that they used for your mouth exam, then walking around touching door handles, and then touching their "products" (God knows how many times they touched the same products with a variety of patients!). So disgusting. I'm so disappointed and very livid how they pressured me, then denied me of my cleaning. I would not recommend this place to anyone. BEWARE!! read more

My family has gone to the same dentist since I was a child and when he moved to Utah I found myself searching for a new dentist. I couldn't believe how much of a struggle it was to find a dentist who is personable, professional and reputable. I found Dr. Assadian and I am so thrilled with the service at Dentistry 2000. The staff is very friendly, welcoming, and comforting especially during procedures like a wisdom tooth extraction. Dr. Assadian is so knowledgeable and really put me at ease. ive been meaning to update my review since ive stopped going.. almost a year ago.. friendly place but I left because i kept paying a leg and an arm every time. I even lost a molar.. 2 crown fell that were put on by dr. assadian. later on they offered me an implant stating they would reduce the pricing..no thank you sir, I'm not made out of money. bottom line, I paid all this money more than 1,000 bucks, wasted my time, just to at the end end lose one of my molars...not to mention there was a referral for my root canal that had to be done twice as I kept getting pain (root canal wasn't done by him, but still I suffered having to go through it twice as the person he referred me to didn't do a good job). at first I was happy as dr. assadian offered me to replace the crown for free, but getting broken a 2nd time, come one man! finally crown broke and broke my molar. very upsetting. Anyway left about a year ago, my new dentist who I've gone to twice does not impose all the work this doctor always talked to me about. I don't spend an arm and a leg anymore!! and I also don't feel like I need a new set of teeth, when I take good care of mine. Anyway 2 stars for the friendliness. read more

Seriously two thumbs way up! Not only were they attentive and caring but Dr. Assadian was thorough, informative, and extremely helpful. I've had chronic headaches since I was a young adult and Dr. Assadian identified the problem with one look at my x-rays. After years of going from one mediocre dentist to another I finally found one that had the experience and the passion to define and fix the issue. The facility was clean, the technology is state of the art, and the staff are excellent extensions of their doctor. Customer Care is their number 1 priority. I've had real bad experiences with dentists before and neglected my teeth for far toooo long. Decided to give this office a chance based on reviews. Dr. Assadian and ALL of his staff are AMAZING. Super professional and helpful. Helped make a plan to get my teeth back into tip top shape in accordance with what my insurance will cover. They do not try to over sell or pressure you to spend $$. Just to the point, 'this is what needs to be done, these are your options, now lets make it happen'. Being a healthcare professional myself, i appreciate the time each staff took to inform and answer all my questions. Although, the sound of a drill still makes me squirm a little, this particular Doc and staff really changed my mind about dentists, in that not all are pain inducing evil villains. I moved to Vista in 1994 and for the next 15 years drove to Santa Monica (200 miles round trip) for dental care. I'd had the same dentist, since 1986 and I never considered going elsewhere. My teeth are sensitive, drills ah drills. I'd had poor experience with dental professionals and my distrust was at a peak, when I met Dr Y. She persuaded me to see her regularly and convinced me to trust her, by listening to me. Dr Y was able to get and keep my teeth/gums in good condition. 2009 I slowly began to realize, that I had to find a dentist closer to home. My teeth were not being well cared for because that 200 mile drive, had become a difficult trip. 2009 - 2012 I saw 2 dentists down here and still was not caring well for my teeth, they were okay, just not for me. In 2012/13 I found Dentistry 2000 and met Dr Assadian and his team of professionals!! He and his staff are all warm, caring people, kind and soothingly cheerful, calming a slightly stressed patient. It didn't take long for my stress level to drop to zero, as I experienced the great care and gentle dentistry with Dr Assadian. One final word, as Dr and Team work together, it is calming. This dental office is excellent. I am a baby when it comes to dental procedures, especially because I grew up with a severe fear of choking, so you can imagine what being laid back in a chair with instruments, parts, and water, etc. squirting into my mouth does to me. I've been specifically looking for a dentist who would be understanding of this and accommodating, and I am thrilled to say that now I have found one. I had a pair of partial dentures that were so uncomfortable that I stopped wearing them. I was temporarily working in Southern California when I had to have a tooth removed and Dr. Assadian talked me into trying out softer Valplast Dentures. It was a great decision. They look and feel great (well, about as great as a denture could). I couldn't get a good price through my insurance company and paid cash for a better price. I am now living in Northern California and am about to drive 500 miles to have him re-cement a crown or remove it and add a tooth to the denture. It may seem kind of crazy to drive 500 miles, but after all these years on this planet (60+), I can say with certainty that a good dentist is worth a long drive. read more

I had a great experience here today. Myself and my seven-year-old son both had appointments. I was a little nervous as this was my son's first visit at a dentist who wasn't a pediatric specialist because he can be a little squirmy. My concerns were very short- lived. My son had a full mouth of x-rays, cleaning, sealants, and varnish and had no problems at all. The staff were incredibly kind and patient with him. I had the same experience. From the front office staff to the back- this office understands what customer service is about. I loved the dentist. I am a nurse and feel that bedside (or chair side) manner is very important. He was thorough, informative, and very caring. I am so happy to find this office. I've had some less than wonderful experiences in the recent past so this was refreshing. I feel the prices are fair and straightforward. No sneaky service codes. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new dentist. Two thumbs up. read more

My financial crises deterred any opportunities to visit a dentist. As time passed, I began to feel pain on the right side of my mouth. Although the pain was not severe, it was certainly an indication that I must see a dentist, so I checked out a few places before deciding to look online. After reading several dentistry reviews, I started reading reviews about Dentistry 2000. I scheduled an appointment. I arrived early and soon after began to fill out paperwork. The receptionist was very courteous and professional. I finished with all the paperwork before my actual appointment time and less than five minutes later I was called in to see the doctor. The place is very well maintained, clean, and professional with state of the art technology. All of the employees are really friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful. The doctor is passionate about his work and takes the time to discuss the importance of oral health. He is very insightful. The work I had done was efficient and precise. I did not experience any discomfort. The environment was lively, compassionate, and welcoming. In addition, Dentistry 2000 has affordable prices which are discussed without any pressure. Five stars! I don't normally write reviews, however, I feel I need to for Dr Assadian. I had a fear of dentists because of a bad experience a few years ago, so I get very nervous when I need serious work done. I went first for a deep scaling, the hygienist was the best I've ever been too! Then I needed some more serious work done, from the minute I sat in the chair, everyone from the receptionist to the dental assistant and of course Dr Assasdian made me feel so relaxed that I had no fear at all. What a great feeling! I have never felt more comfortable in a dental chair. He is unbelievably gentle, thorough and a did a beautiful job. He educated me on dental hygiene more than any other dentist I have been too, I believe he truly cares about my teeth and gums. I will never look for another dentist again! I just wish I had found him sooner. The entire staff make you feel so at ease. I actually look forward to going. I'm not kidding! If you have a fear of dentists, believe me, he will change your mind. I avoided the dentist for 10 yrs because of how painful it is for me and my bad experiences in the past. I showed up in bad shape and needed intensive work on 4 teeth. It was all done within 2 wks and was basically pain free. Love the yogurt they give you, the cleanliness of the office and the warm feel of everyone's personalities. They are all so helpful and kind and treat me like a person rather than a money sign. From Loraina at the front to Marco and Kristina in the back and of course the doctor. Dr. Assadian is hilarious and truly cares for his patients, which is evident in his interactions with them. I had never been to a dentist that took the time to educate me in what I should and should not eat in order to avoid the dentist in the future. I called for a new patient apt/cleaning. Then I had a work schedule conflict so I had to call to reschedule. I tried calling 4 different times and nobody would answer the phone. Finally after leaving a message, somebody picked up. I thought it was strange that I never received a reminder call for the apt so I asked if they did reminder calls, and they said yes, so I just blew it off. I got my apt rescheduled for 2/18/16 for 10am. Again, no reminder call prior to the appt. I show up today and the receptionist says she doesn't have an apt scheduled for me, and that I am not in the system. She asked if I called the right number so I showed her the date and time in my phone. Then when she couldn't find me in the system she said she needed to call my insurance to verify that they were in fact my dentist listed. She called and that was confirmed (again proved her wrong). At this point I am just beyond irritated because this is my first impression and apt with them, and they are not taking any responsibility for the lack of preparation, communication or lack of scheduling. She then tells me that they need to do x-rays and I explain that I am not going to do them because I am not sure at this point that I will ever come back. She starts haggling me that the doctor needs to HAVE the x-rays to do the exam. I explain that I have previous x-rays that are older that they can use, but reiterate that I am not doing x-rays today. I send her the x-rays and she says they are old (DUH I already told you that) and starts giving me a hard time about how they will need to do x-rays to do the exam. I explain that if they cannot do the cleaning without the x-rays, that I will just go. I explain that they haven't even apologized/took responsibility for any of this and how it is not my fault that somebody at their office made the apt and didn't follow through with things on their end. Why would I waste my or their time coming to an apt if I didn't genuinely think it was scheduled? C'mon! The receptionist then raises her voice and says what would you have me do, I said we could get you in?!?! She says, you were not in my system and I didn't have an apt set up for you, and I replied with, well that is not my fault, that is your fault and/or whoever else works the front desk with you. She continued to try to argue with me and I just said, you can skip the whole thing because I am going to leave. I am not going to argue with you, this is just bad customer service. And I walked out. How inappropriate to even argue with me at that point, and it just reemphasizes the poor customer service and lack of professionalism. I will never go back there and will tell everyone I know to skip this place! read more

I searched for a new dentist last year and relied on the 5 star reviews when choosing Dr. Assadian. I had a good first experience but the second checkup really disappointed me. The cleaning and consult with Dr. Assadian was great and I was planning some major cosmetic work for the near future. Unfortunately, the girl who prepared my bill and estimate added a $25.00 charge for a mouth rinse without showing me the product or asking if I would like to purchase it. She made it sound like it was part of the cleaning I just had. I was given the bottle and a tooth brush before leaving which I thought was a gift. When I got home I realized that I had been conned into this purchase and was irate. I returned it the next morning and received a refund. My trust in this office has been damaged and have now decided to look elsewhere for a dental office with ethical business practices. I chose this dentist through online reviews as finding a new dentist is SCARY and I needed They helped answer all my questions (friendly & informative) prior to making my appt . They were even willing to see my young boys and do whatever neccesary work my kids would allow. I went first and had a filling and crown placed. Every step of the way way VERY friendly, honest and comfortable. So informative and not pushy at all. Ive had dentists not be upfront about the work and costs involved, then youre screwed because youve used your insurance allotment on them for xrays. I even wanted whitening and they actually didnt reccomend it because of my situation that it would be too painful until things were back on track... Then I brought my 3 and 5 yo in and my 5 yo had a bad experience previously at a childrens dentist that I was worried he would freak out. Well he didnt, they were SO good w kids and straightforward about their care and work needed. My kids actually WANT to come back cause they thought it was fun and loved the "treasure box" of toys to pick when they were done. I fully reccomend this office and staff to anyone young or old. Went here for my first time this morning. After filling out my paperwork they informed me that since I am pregnant they have to get authorization from my Dr before they could perform any work. They called my doctor and sent in the forms. While waiting for my DR to return the forms they put me back in a room. Of course my regular doctor took forever to get the information but the Dentist and Receptionist kept checking on me. The dentist asked if I had eaten breakfast and I said no since I didn't think I would be there long. He offered me bananas and yogurt and told me he needed me to eat since I was pregnant. They brought me water and discussed my options on what they think I would need done. My doctors phone lines were down so they could not get a hold of them so they rescheduled my appointment. I felt very comfortable here, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful and they were very informative. read more
