Well, last night I had an after-hours dental emergency when a bridge made by another dental office came loose. I contacted Dr. Wernick's office close to midnight and left a detailed message explaining the situation. About seven hours later, I received a text asking if I could come in at 8:30 AM for the repair. I went in and was out in less than 20 minutes with my smile fully restored. It's that kind of dedication to patients, combined with genuine skill, that will hopefully keep this office as my dentist of choice for many years to come. Very disappointing. They refuse to check my insurance in advance to give me a treatment plan clearly stating what my cost will be out of pocket. I continue to get bills after the fact because they're too busy to look it up in advance, like most dental offices do. They are also understaffed. I've given them opportunities to improve, but I'm never going there again! The cleanings at this location are very basic compared to more up-to-date techniques. Dr. Wernick is the best dentist I have ever had. I have had bad experiences with previous dentists before I went to see Dr. Wernick and I can honestly say that I hated the dentist! He and his staff are the exception. Granted that not all dental services are pain free but, I no longer dread making my dental appointments or cringe letting him do whatever procedure is needed. He and his staff are great, they actually listen to you if you have concerns and they make you feel comfortable to be there. I can honestly say that I no longer "hate" going to the dentist. Decline of good customer services over the years. The hours are very inconvenient for a business, making it difficult to schedule appointments, and its clear they are under staffed, as I've had long waits for a simple cleaning procedure. They schedule you in some instances a year ahead and when your appointment is near after patiently waiting for your visit, they don't seem to reach out in every form of communication available to them. read more

Dr. Wernick has been my dentist for several years. I like his approach to dental care. He doesn't push for a lot of costly extras. He has a very easy going and caring personality. I genuinely enjoy talking with him. The staff are also great. Laura and Yazzi are an outstanding team of hygentist so personable. Marlene has been a real caring dental assistant. I have only been coming to Dr Wernick for a couple months but I have already seen enough to know that he is one of the best dentists I have ever had. I have moved around with the military and have had over 10 dentists and although some had great chairside manners and some were skillful, Dr Wernick is both. He is super polite and tells you everything he is doing or recommends. He seems to have a great attention to detail. Just a genuinely nice guy - I even saw him pick up printouts for his front office lady, and after my appointment (which was just before lunch), I saw him leaving with his staff to take them out to lunch, which I have never seen from a doctor. (They seem to work well together and like each other!). His dental assistant (think her name is Marlene) is also super nice and funny too. And the front desk lady (sorry, I'm bad with names!) is professional, friendly, courteous and knowledgeable with billing details. Anyhow, thank you for all your help with my teeth!!! PS. Btw, he accepts the military dental insurance (active duty family members) which most dentists do not. So thank you for your support of the troops indirectly! ... I am always dismayed at how most dentists and doctors don't indirectly support the military by their choice of which carriers to accept. PPS. This is my honest and unbiased opinion.
