Dr. B, Denise, Jackie, Penny (Michelle prior) are all an amazing group of dental professionals. Been with them for a long time and was always happy with our visits. I am glad that both Dr. B and Denise have retired; however, I am also sad that we won't be able continue to see Penny. The new office staff taking over are horrible to work with, not to mention our December overlap visit between Dr. B and the new dentist was like a car service appointment being upsold with services by the new staff. Simply the BEST! I have known Dr. Brombacher since we were both in college together over 50 years ago. As he is now, back then Dr. Brombacher was an honest, friendly and GREAT person! Nothing has changed except that he is no longer a student but the BEST dentist in San Diego County. His entire staff, starting with Denise at reception, make you feel comfortable in a typically uncomfortable place to be! I actually look forward to my 3x a year cleaning with Penny. Dr. Brombacher is gentle, kind and most impressively an excellent dentist. He knows his profession. He was able to troubleshoot an issue I was having with one of my teeth. He knew what to do and now I am pain free. I decided to see Dr. B permanently and have since had him pull a wisdom tooth and fix a cavity. I could not be more happy. My husband introduced me to Dr. Robert Brombacher aka Dr. B many moons ago 2001. Now, I can honestly say the entire staff is family to me. Dr. Brombacher has created such an amazing work business environment and it reflects on his staff. He even took them to Hawaii to show his appreciation. The office receptionist, Denise Moeller runs a tight ship and is always calm and oh so pleasant to speak with about anything. Jackie when assisting Dr. B on a procedure has accomodated my special requests and caring. Kam is another gem that assists Dr. B with procedures and is so loving and kind and of course highly professional. They are always on top of everything. The staff is so approachable and there is nothing they will not do to make you feel comfortable. Just yesterday when I asked if I could make a cup of coffee from the Keurig machine in the waiting room Jackie offered to pour me a fresh hot cup from the back and handed it to me in a beautiful large ceramic mug. I do want to shift my focus on the main thing which is Dr. B. He has met our family in his office more than one time on a Saturday or Sunday for an ER tooth issue. The office gives u his cell phone in the event of an ER. I can't say enough about this business. I have been going to see Dr. B for over 20 years. He is kind, compassionate, and I have often fallen asleep in his chair. I most recently went for a bridge. It was a complicated procedure but I was on my way in 2.5 hours. There was little recovery pain. He uses a technique that makes the novocaine injection pain free. I am so happy with Dr. B and his entire staff. I need more procedures (my teeth have many needs) and will see him for all, including implant crowns and a regular crown. read more

I have to chime is with the others. I too was taken aback by Bob's jostling of my flesh whence jabbing me with a needle full of novicane. No one does it any better. I've been a personal friend and neighbor of Bob and Kathy's for 25 years. When Bob told me back in the early 90's that he was no longer doing nitrice oxide I thought I'd have to look for another dentist as much as we love the Brombachers. But much to my amazement after almost 20 years of getting the gas the past 20 years has been a breeze. It's all in the head and Bob and his wonderful, fun and playful staff of terrific office personnel (Denise) and staff are the greatest. My whole family has been under the Dr. Bob Magic spell for going on 3 generations and couldn't think of ever changing. Going to Dr. Bob et. al is like an ongoing TV serial. Our conversations and sharing of family experiences always seem to pick up right where they left off on the last visit. Going to Dr. Bob is like a never ending comedy show. Lots of upbeat folks, exchanging fun stories and experiences but above all a lot of laughing and just good old fashioned fun. I can not say enough times how amazing Dr B and his staff are! He has been my dentist since I was a kid and has kept me as calm and as comfortable as one can be in a dentists chair! Haha. I recently called in because I was having a major problem with a broken/decayed wisdom tooth...Denise was able to get me in SAME DAY and Dr B got me set up on the medications I needed to be ready to have the tooth extracted in the next week. I am happy to say my wisdom tooth was removed YESTERDAY. The process was quick, clean and painless. I am back to work today with minimal discomfort and no messy, bleeding mouth. Everyone here is great! I had the worst dental experience of my life at Vista Family Dental and decided to get a second opinion here. The two places were night and day. Denise was a pleasure to speak to over the phone and in person. Michelle was great at cleaning teeth! She explained everything she was doing and was unbelievably nice! Good dentist? Dentist suck, that's just the way it is. Who wants someone sticking their fingers in your mouth? But when you need a capable dentist who isn't gonna fuck you up, this is the guy. He has this weird pull on your lip thing, almost like your being fish hooked (fish hooked in a gentle way) it causes you to not notice the pain of the needle being stuck into your gums. I forgot to mention, while most dentist offices allow 1/2 hour (maybe 45 minutes) for an hygienist to clean teeth, Dr. B's office allows the hygienists a full hour per patient. Michelle usually spends 45-55 minutes on me, and still has time to take a washroom / water break before moving on to the next patient. I never felt my hygienist is rushed because she needs to move onto the next patient. read more

Dr Brombacher and his staff are the best! He is very competent, kind, and practical. The first time I went to Dr B was to get a second opinion on dental work that another dentist recommended. The other dentist wanted to replace all my front teeth with crowns because of micro fissures (?) in the enamel. Dr Brombacher did not find any problems - that was 20 years ago and my teeth are perfectly fine!
