He was very straightforward about the work involved with the limited info I could give over the phone. I made an appointment for a few days later, and was immediately accommodated when I arrived. The quality of his repair is excellent, I can barely tell that anything happened, and that's saying something considering what he had to work with (sharp, outward dent). Someone backed into the driver's side door of my Rogue in a parking lot and left a nasty dent at the bottom of the door that caused the door to buckle in a couple of places leaving a rather nasty situation for a PDR specialist. I tried Mr. Detail's PDR guy and he wouldn't touch it claiming it needed body work, which I was trying to avoid. Doug quoted me a little more than I was hoping to pay to fix the dent, but I knew that the body work would cost way more and probably cause the paint on my car to look inconsistent so I gave him a shot and he did not disappoint! He came to my work garage and within a couple of hours he had the dent out completely! Other than a couple of stray scuffs you couldn't tell there was a dent there at all! He polished it up quite nicely, too. Before going to a body shop, definitely talk to Doug. Another effusive review from the newest member of the Dent Solutions fan club. Simply put - these guys are magicians. I have a 2017 Mini Cooper that I dearly love. Imagine my horror when someone left what can best be described as a crease in the driver's side after hitting me with a shopping cart in the Fred Meyer lot...followed by a door ding on the passenger side not long after. I took my Mini to several reputable body shops and the estimates came back at $1200 - $1300, including up to a week in the shop and re-painting each door. Mini comes out with unique colors each year and the odds the doors would come back an exact match was near zero. I was heartbroken. *Enter Dent Solutions.* In just over 2 hours they had my Mini back in pristine condition, no hint whatsoever of the ding or crease, and no need to touch her lovely paint....and at less than half the cost I'd been quoted at the traditional shops. To say I am thrilled and delighted would be a huge understatement. Added bonus- they are lovely gentlemen to work with: polite, straightforward, honest, zero mansplaining. I would have had my 2015 Highlander repaired by Dent Solutions, but the owner Doug Hillius recommended that I have it done by a Body Shop vs their own PDR technique due to complexities that would prevent a near-perfect solution. Like any shop, he could have taken the job anyway and not warn me that it may be too much damage for paintless repair. So, I write this review precisely because of his honesty and first thinking of what is the best for his customers, even if it means turning away the work. You don't often find this level of honesty from many businesses. I also found their shop very clean and his other advisor very truthful as to problem areas w/ my damage. I can assure you that I will not hesitate to consult with Dent Solutions on any future bodywork. The only reason this is less than 5 star is because they did not actually do the job. I've only owned my '17 Subaru a month and I found a new door ding. Wanted it out FAST. My family has used Doug at Dent Solutions for years and I have not had the good fortune of meeting him until today because of a very nasty deep shopping cart dent due to an idiot not returning their cart! I won the lottery with a call back this morning where I quickly sent Doug a picture of the dent and he made an assessment on the spot that it was repairable and he can get me in today due to a cancellation! Score! With that, I drove my car to his shop, it was a pretty deep dent - more than the picture shows but he assured me, the dent can come out with perhaps some small push marks but will be better than the dent itself. A few hours later, I received the best text ever showing me the repair and it was by far better than I ever expected! It was so good that I had to do a double take on where those tiny push marks were! Amazing job - amazing talent - highly recommend! A fraction of the cost from a body shop repair. Doug does excellent work. I had a BMW M6 with a new paint job that is smooth as glass. It had a dent in the rear left side behind the door. Some idiot (probably drunk) on a bicycle at Frisko Freeze in Tacoma fell over right next to my car (he had plenty of space, but he just HAD to go right next to my car), putting a dent in the car. The culprit had no permanent address, and claimed he was a college student from Seattle. Total loser. Anyway, Doug made sure the interior of my car was removed properly to access the panel. He went so far as to talk to Strictly BMW in Bellevue to get special instructions on how to remove the panel and other items to access the inside of the sheet metal. When he was done, the metal and paint were perfect. The interior was all back in place and you could not tell the car had been touched. read more

I had a dent in my 2015 Lexus and wanted to get it fixed properly. There wasn't any damage to the paint just an indentation about the size of a basketball. I got an estimate from a reliable body shop for $750 and it was going to be a 2-3 day job and evolve paint work. The repair work was impressive. My car is almost 20 years old and I was very concerned about getting it painted and not having the new paint match the factory paint. I was also very skeptical about "paintless dent repair." The dent was about the size of a fist and I was blown away that the fender looked like new with absolutely no sign of a dent. They also fixed a couple of door dings that came out perfect as well. The only reason I gave them 4 out of 5 stars is that I noticed some surface scratches in the paint in the areas where they worked that were most likely caused by their tools. I was able to buff out the scratches, but if you are particular about your car, just ask them to be careful and see if there is anything they can put around the repair area to prevent scratches. Super nice guys as well, and work in 3 areas was completed same day. read more
