I do not think Iggy really knows what he is doing. Paid $325 and still has a crease. My son was not happy for what the job looked like. I even had to show him a small dent he did not see. He should have taken the tire off and went in under the wheel well. The large dent was taken out, but as he was doing it, he pooped about four dents outward. I drove there to get a dent repaired from my granddaughter's bicycle handle bar grip. 1st 40 min drive no one was there during there posted hours , 40 min each way! 2 nd trip my wife took the car there for me during again "there" posted business hours and again no one there. ( she called before going)! He said it was slow and he was doing mobile work to stay busy! 3rd trip! Shame on me! Finally get an older gentleman who half ass looks at it and tells me the cost will be $360.00 and a 3 hour wait and also told me I would still see a crease line after he was done. SIMON is really a Genie when it comes to removing dents. One second it is there, 15 minutes later it's gone! Took my 2012 Porsche Cayenne to him and he was able to remove a door ding (about the size of a quarter) on my driver side door. BOOM, it vanished with his work. Not everyone is as lazy as you Simon... The Legitimate shop who did the work to fix your screw up, repaired the dent by removing the tire and molding inside the wheel well, they worked it out from the inside panel the correct way. I watched the entire time. No holes were drilled but nice try... Only you would say to drill holes on a 100k car.... You make your own reviews up on google and on here. Whats a 100 bucks to me? This is all based on principle of what you did and said to me that day. You never said "you won't be able to get the dent completely out" what you did say is "It will be 100 and you won't be able to see a thing when I'm done" You made 100 bucks in 8 minutes.. was it really worth it to scam me? From the first phone call with Simon to the goodbyes when I left the shop; it was an excellent customer service experience. Eric did a great job on my car. Everyone at the shop was really nice and made me feel at home while I waited. They make it look easy (it's definitely not). Not only are their skills excellent but they have done a great job of making customers feel good about spending money with them. Simon has successfully repaired dents on several of our cars over the past few years. Most recently he helped get a micro dent out of the hood of a Jaguar F-Type. He will tell you whether or not the dent is repairable and what kind of outcome you can expect. He is an expert at what he does. Every single time the results have been 99% as good as new and unless there is a small paint chip in the dent spot, you can never tell that it had been dented. My 2-star rating has nothing to do with Dent Genies' work, but applies to how he does business. He posts afternoon weekday hours until 5:30. I came by his shop Thursday at 2:30 and no one was there. I texted him and he writes back, "Try Saturday after 1." If he's going to post specific hours, he should make it his business to be open to customers. I'm not going to try Saturday after 1. My car had dents on the roof from branches falling on it. I decided to check out this place because my family told me to since they have had cars fixed before and were happy with it. I went to get an estimate, and it would cost 650$, which is a lot of money, especially for a second-year college student saving up for tuition. I went to a couple of other shops, and one was charging 600, and another one was going to charge 1200, but I decided to go with Simons place. I went home and called, but Simon did not pick up, so I decided to drive down there and make an appointment in person since I live 5 minutes away and did not mind the drive. When I arrived, he was talking to his friends in his office, so I waited until he was done and asked when is a good time to take my car in, and we decided on the following day as soon as he opens. And then I asked him if there is any way to bring the price down, and his whole attitude changed. Now I understand if he would get annoyed at me asking for the price to change since it is a complete Karen move, but instead of saying politely, "no, sorry I cannot do that" Simon got up into my face. I have no clue if he was trying to intimidate me or what he was doing and told me a story about how he has this guy that works on his cars, and he pays him 400 even though others can get it done for 200, and he does that because the guy he pays gets it done. And then Simon told me to stop arguing and bring the money. I was not even close to arguing with him at all. I only asked a simple question if he could lower the price down. But I sucked it up and told Simon that 12:30 tomorrow works and went home. After I got home, I got a phone call from Simon saying he missed my call, not knowing that it was me, and I went down to his shop already. I told him that it's me on the phone, but before we ended the phone call, I asked one more question just for my reassurance since I love my car and I'm scared to have people work on it. I asked, "you told me you guarantee the dents to be 90% gone right" to which he replied something like, "stop asking questions, if you are going to question me, take your car somewhere else. Just bring your car down tomorrow" (in the rudest way possible) I was shocked at the way he responded to my question, and I hung up the phone. Simon might be good at fixing up your car, but god, he needs to learn how to have better customer service. I have never met some as rude as Simon, and this is my first time writing a yelp review since I have never felt the need to until this day. I felt it important to repost here. *** The other positive reviews are spot on--Simon is an artist with dent repair! He is very realistic with what he can and cannot repair. I had a large dent on the lower section of my door caused by sliding in to a snow bank (at least that what my daughter told me!). Simon was not sure he could get it all out, but I felt it was worth the try. He really worked it and I dare say he got 95% of the dent repaired. He also took care of two little dings on the car (actually, Jessica did those), They came out perfectly. Simon's prices are fair, and his work is excellent. I was inquiring for my uncle who's car was dinged, I asked if he could give me a quote from a picture because I didn't have the dented car with me. This is my second visit to see Simon, first visit was for a bumper cover with a massive dent. He got the straighten out and good as new. Second visit was for a dent on door and a small bent on door edge. I went there to get a quote and make an appointment for removal of two dents on my E55 AMG. When I arrived, there was another customer there with his daily driver. Dent genie just removed a massive damage and a few smaller dings. He also mentioned to the owner that the smaller stuff was free. When he was done, he looked at my car. I had two dents that I did not consider too bad (to remove, but unacceptable to leave, of course). One on the hood from someone applying too much pressure with his hand when closing the aluminum hood, the other one from a door on rear fender. I just bought the car a week earlier. Dent genie insisted to do the work right away. Normally I would have appreciated such a behavior, but this type of work takes a lot of time, so I would have preferred to get an estimate and I would have dropped off the car later and would have left to give him time to work. After a few hours - he used glue tabs, as he said he cannot access the dents from inside) - the result was not too bad. I had to pay what I considered a huge premium, because I came with an expensive / exotic car. In the end, the result was okay, but not perfect. I had the same dent on the hood done later by another guy who does dents professionally at Mercedes Benz all day. He did it from inside. Much better and cheaper. read more

I had a dent on the right front fender of my 2011 Toyota RAV4 from someone hitting it with a shopping cart. The technician at dent genies took a look at it and said they could make it look as good as new. I was sceptic at first, but after about 20 minutes the dent was totally gone. Went for a quick estimate because I wasn't even sure if this dent could be bumped out. Stopped at the end of the day and Simon told me yes they could fix it and he could probably get it to about 85% better. I said that's better than nothing...go ahead. I would like to say that Simon and his help are incredible and economical. I have a 2003 Honda Accord that I am restoring. Last August in the floods I destroyed my engine. I love the style of the car so much that I decided to put a new engine in it and I did. However, I really, before that happen I wanted to have it repainted, because it had a little rust on the fender. Yet the money last year went into the Engine. So finally this summer I got it spot painted. Franks Auto Body in Newport. He uses metal and not bondo. Simon who owns Dent Genie thought he had done a really good job. I had it painted two weeks, people said it looked like a new car. One night at the restaurant I parked way away from everyone. There were about four cars in the parking lot when I went home. There was a big truck and he parked a car lane away from me taking care of his own vehicle. But for some reason someone with a little car parked right between us with 10 parking spots to the street on the driver's side of my car. There was two feet between my car and their's. So I was sure of the possibility of a ding. I drove to Mobile Station, because they always have bright lights. There it was a ding about the size of a penny with a crease right in the middle of it. All the time that I have owed the car parking anywhere I had no dings. I get it painted and a ding. It shined like a bullseye on my car it was driving me crazy. I said to Simon, can you get that out? He said yes if I can reach it, but he was not 100 % sure, but he would try. If he failed he was not going to charge me anything. He finally decided he would have to drill a hole in the side of the door. I said that was OK no big deal and he painted and plugged it after. Because it was in a difficult spot he was going to charge me more than what he advertised. I didn't care I just wanted to get it out and I called Frank and he said if it was in a difficult spot he may have to take it all a part and paint the whole thing, but he did not know until he looked at it. I knew it would be a lot less than what Frank would charge me and that was my main hope. So he drilled the hole, put his device through the hole and I watched him just like a Genie manically take the ding out and the crease in the ding. He had this little chalk like chisel and on the outside he tapped the crease out using the light waves to see it. When he was done I could see nothing. He really liked my paint job and had a car he was restoring and wanted to know who the body man was so I told him Frank's Auto body in Newport. But I am not done. He saw a small dent in the flange of the design of my car and said do you want me to fix that. I said no that one is small and has been there since I own the car. He said since you are a car enthusiast like I am and you did not dicker when I told you the price would be higher than you expected I will give you a freebie. I said sure. So he tells me to put my window down reaches his device between the window and in minute like a magic wand poof the dent in the flange is gone and for free. No wonder this guy calls himself the dent genie. I didn't even know that he fixed it. I did not think he was done. When I was paying him I said I thought you were going to fix that other dent. He said I already did. I did not realize when he reach between the window that was all there was to it. This is a amazing he fixed both dent in about 15 minutes. It was worth every penny and I took cards to give to my friends. Simon liked the job Frank did on my car and wanted him to do some work on his car. Perhaps they could recommend each other since he was a body man and Simon a Dent and Ding man. I am still taking about this guy and it has been two weeks now. So you know I was impressed. If you go to see him it is a little tricky, because his place is set back of the street and you can't see it from the road. A young lady and I bumped into one another as we backed out of parking spaces, caving in the corner so the plastic bumpers of both cars. I stopped at a local collision shop and was given an estimate of $850 and about three days to repair. I then stopped at the Genie. He said he could pop it out for $200. I gave him the "go ahead." "When can you get to it?" I asked. "I'll just do it right now, if you want," he said. Twenty minutes later I was back on the road with a bumper that looks like nothing every happened to it. I believe I called him a "genious" to another of the workers there. As I left, he called out, "I don't want to see you in here again!"
