This man will hook you up. He understands and specializes in classic car restoration. Going over my receipt now, I see he gave me all the parts at his cost. He only charged for labor!! After going over what we needed he gave me great advice on insurance companies special for classics and for the parts he wasn't working on (transmission). He told me about a place and explained why they were the best (but we will save that for a different review). He really wants to help you with your car. He doesn't try to outsmart you or condescend like the typical "I have something to prove" guy. Don't waste your time taking your summer ride to a different place. This is your guy. Better price than places around the area and unbeatable service and knowledge. I look forward to updating and documenting my experiences here while we work on my car. I can tell that this is going to be a fun and stress free summer.

Rick and his team diagnosed the issue and quoted a decent price for the repair. The initial repair was completed and delivered when promised but some ongoing issues with the sensors, gas tank mounts, leaks, and other problems resulted in a few return visits. So, why is this a 4 star review? Well, three reasons: Rick, Tom, and the owner. Rick wanted it done and done right. His honest attitude and professionalism were top notch. Tom, another upstanding employee, was absolutely delightful to work with and proved to be someone we could really trust. I sincerely thank Rick, Tom, and team for their efforts and the owner for being so fair and reasonable even when things didn't go perfectly.

Mike was right there to come out take a listen and verify that is what I needed. Gave me a quick fair estimate, which was about $50 less than the dealer. Then he asked when was good for me. I had the truck in the next afternoon. He fully understood my desire to fix it right the first time and called to ask if I wanted to replace the other pulleys while we were in there, only about another $100. He also called to apologize that it would take a bit longer as the parts were a little late getting to him. When he was done, he said give him a call and he would pick me up. I gave him a call and less than 5 minutes later he was at my house picking me up. Was a great pleasure working with them. Will not hesitate to recommend Certi-Tech to anyone needing a good friendly mechanic. They are the first mechanics that also asked if I wanted to see the replaced parts. I know the law says they have to show them to you, but hardly anybody asks. Replacing all that we did was a good idea. The new truck should be good to go for quite a few years now.

AND HE HAS NEVER BEEN DISHONEST! And his prices are good! I've taken many clunkers that other places would have tried to sell me transmissions or motors,, etc...And I'm an older vulnerable single female, (usually victimized by auto repair men or else they didn't know what they were doing) But when my neighbor recommended him, I was shocked at all of the above and how organized and FAST he is. And he's VERY INFORMATIVE with a very nice and professional way of communicating. As well as no waiting to ask a question & receive a short & sweet fast answer/recommendation/or when to bring your car in. And he focuses professionally on your appointment calling you back the same day or the next day to let you know it's done. He's been so good I've taken many family members cars to him. He even lets you drop it off after he's closed & has a safe box for your keys. So he can stay on it that next day. HONESTLY I don't know what we would all be doing without him.
