Wouldn't recommend this to anyone! Was told job would take a couple of weeks. It took EIGHT! Was told repeatedly that I'd get a call back, but 95% of the time, it took ME calling to get an answer. The company claims that they have free loaner cars. When I needed one, they had none. They text with updates, but those aren't right. Even the day before I picked up the car, I got an update that it wouldn't be ready for another 2 weeks. On my way to pick it up, they called -- at 3p -- to tell me I had to bring cash, because their computers were down. I refused. When I got there, the computers were fine. BUT, the woman charged me a 3% credit card fee, DESPITE the fact that it was posted as a 2%. I asked why the difference, and she said that the posted sticker was incorrect. Hmmmmm Lastly, on my way home, I noticed the horn wasn't working. I had to return the following week, and the "problem" took 10 minutes to fix. read more

I was unlucky two weeks after getting my new car and got into an accident and my family has been taking all our vehicle to Waterford Collision for years. So my dad told me to drop it off here to Tom to get it done. Tom called me the next morning and said they'd take care of it and no worries which I appreciated. Can't say enough good about Waterford Collision and Towing- they are EXCELLENT: quality work from a professionally-run, well-equipped shop that delivers on their commitments. Collision shops can be a huge game: most are run like tire shops or muffler shops, where they make their revenue on parts and their back shop cut of the hourly labor rate. Some act as though they are doing the customer a favor rather than providing a service. Many also like to schedule jobs through with the quickest turnaround for the dollar, leaving customers in the dark about when to expect their car back. Mine was an insurance claim on an older car that my insurer could have easily totaled, but it's a car I like, and I wanted it fixed right at an affordable cost. Tom Pilecki at Waterford Collision did a great job of assessing the damage, setting expectations, communicating progress and consulting on issues as they came up. As my insurance recommended this company to do the body repairs on my car I was going to take it here until I read some of their reviews and I must say I was totally disappointed after reading them, bcuz it seems they were really nice and professional to these customers but they did t do any of that for me. What amazing customer service, every one I came into contact with from the lady at the front desk to Aaron who handled my claim and arraigned for the repairs was just perfect. They were in constant contact, I even got a call from Aaron late on a Saturday telling me all the parts had come in and we were on for my appointment Monday morning. I brought my vehicle to Waterford Collision at the instruction of my insurance company. While I'm extremely unhappy with the repairs done to my vehicle, I'm unclear on whether the issues are caused by my insurance company or the repair facility. I'm writing my review on the customer service and loaner car provided, NOT the actual repairs. My car was in for repair for more than a week, so my husband and I had multiple interactions, both in person and over the phone, with the staff at the collision repair. Initially the person we spoke with was polite, but as time went on it was obvious that he was tired of talking with me. He gave opinions over the phone to my husband and I but didn't communicate the same information to the insurance company. I felt that he talked in circles in an attempt to confuse me. I recorded one phone call to give an example to my husband and my husband was surprised at the way that he spoke with me. He very frequently mentioned that he was doing me a "favor" and I had to bring to his attention multiple times that he was, in fact, doing the job he was paid to do and nothing beyond it. The loaner car was horrendous. Only one type of vehicle is available- the Chevrolet Spark. While a courtesy car is just that, a courtesy, I would have preferred to have had another vehicle. The courtesy car had the check engine light on the entire time. It also had a tail light out. I felt unsafe in the car because of these issues. I knew that I could get pulled over for the light and I wasn't sure why the check engine light was on. The car also didn't "get up and go" very well, so merging was tricky and a bit scary. The size of the car didn't allow me to put my two children in the car at the same time (two car seats could not be buckled in to the back seat). The trunk allowed me to fit three paper grocery bags in it and nothing more. It was very small. Additionally, and embarrassingly, the car has their logo on the side. They're advertising, I get it. But the logo looks like a penis. After experiencing the poor customer service and seeing the condition of the loaner car, I would not recommend this repair facility to friends. read more

Edit: they fixed the mistakes and everything looks great thanks guys I brought my car in because i got rearended and needed some body work done. Well they fixed my car within two days and fixed it faster than the insurance getting the paper work done which i was impressed by. Well after i got my car home i noticed i had three rather large scratches on my hood and there was also a nice gash in the new paint on my bumper. The 'caliber sxt' that was supposed to be replaced the 'caliber' is super crooked and there is no 'sxt' since i didnt need any work done to the front and i know for a fact i dont put anything on my hood, how did those scratches get there? Also i now have a check engine light from my gas tank area and i just replaced my gas cap for the previous light about a month before. Either way id highly recommend that you do your research online for your local body shop specialists and look at their reviews so that way you dont end up with a headache. read more

A crazy person hit my car and ran. No fun and my car was a mess I have a 750 Bmw and took it to Fred at Waterford collision. Fred called me right away to invite me to the shop. He showed me around they have an environment friendly water based paint shop and were able to match my beautiful silver perfectly. The work was done in a week while I was traveling and they kept me informed as to the progress. They took care of dealing with the insurance company and I never had to speak to an agent. Very bad experience with this company. They gave me an estimate, my insurance company approved and sent a two party check to them. That was 3 weeks ago. They still have not let me bring my car in. They have not responded to 2 emails I sent them , and have not responded to a phone call yesterday. I spoke with someone on the phone and she was going to hand deliver the message to Tom. No response from Tom. Today my insurance company tells me they cashed the check.! I signed off on nothing. So they have the money, it's been three weeks, and they will not reply to my emails or return my call. My insurance company is contacting them for a refund, and I am looking for another shop. Very fraudulent that they deposited the check without me signing off on anything. Wow! A few years ago they did an excellent job for me. Not sure what has happened to this company, but something is just not right. read more

I just picked up my car from Waterford Collision. I was standing still when a moving truck decided to given a turning 18 wheeler more space and backed into me. My car had over $5000. damage to it. With the computer chip and part shortage they realy were not sure how long it would take to fix it. It was there for about 10 days. When I picked it up not only was the car spotless, but when they handed me my key fob it was all shinny! it had been in the bottom of my purse for two years. I asked if they had cleaned it, too. The reply was it was the least they could do to make the unfortunate incident more tolerable! read more

This is the worst place to take a vehicle after an accident, their policy is once the vehicle is inspected and taken apart you must pay or give the car to them for basically nothing, I had a Prius with a busted front bumper and they said the cost would be 7000$+ and they wouldn't put my car back together if I didn't want to pay it, they wrote me a check for 100$ for the whole car (2008 Prius) and sold it less than a month later for 5000$, these people are thieves. read more

If I could give this place no star, I would. I wish I had seen the previous review before we took our van here. I beg whoever's reading this NOT to take your vehicle here. Let me start from the beginning. My dad's van slipped into a ditch during a snow storm and needed some fixing so we took it here since they were advertising free rental car while our car is in the shop. We asked about the car rental and they said they didn't have one in and they'll let us know when they do. They also told us they'll have an estimate for us on Monday (it was a Saturday). So ok, we waited. Monday come by, we heard nothing. We called then and they said they don't have an estimate yet, so we waited some more. Over a week later we finally got word, but still no rental car. Another week go by before they called about a rental car, so my dad came by for it, they told him there's a problem with the tire and asked if he could bring it to belle tire for them and that belle tire would know what to do. So we did. Yes, we were too nice and too patient. At belle tire they didn't know what we were talking about so they called the collision shop and we're not sure what they talked about on the phone but they were laughing together and staring at us. Belle tire said it would take 3 hours and we HAVE to wait there, we can't leave it and come back, or they won't do anything for us. At this point, we were just livid. The rental car they gave us was less than subpar, the seats were covered in motor oil and the car smelled of cigarette smoke. And they're making us wait for it to be fixed up while they're apparently making a mockery of us for being so patient with them. We gave them back the rental car and wanted to take our van back to take somewhere else. They told us we can't because they already have our parts and ready to put it together. We decided to give them another chance because we're just that forgiving. Really long story a little shorter, it took them over a month and a half to finish our van because "they didn't have the parts in... That's right, they lied to us the first time when we wanted to take the van somewhere else. We never got a rental car from them, so that's another lie from them, complete false advertising. When we got our van back, they didn't fix a cracked mirror and they screwed up some electrical wiring that broke our automatic sliding side doors. We had our radiator and coolant container apparently replaced but they didn't even fill up the coolant. We had to do that ourselves the day after picking up the van. Basically they did a terrible job and kept lying to us the whole time. They even BROKE parts that were originally fine. They said the insurance didn't quote the mirror so they're not responsible for what the insurance company didn't tell them to do. What kind of irresponsible cheat of a business is that??? Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. read more

I'm surprised of the negative ratings here. I guess people tend to complain more then they compliment. That is why I decided to rate Waterford Collision. I called to get a quote on a door handle replacement. I spoke with Fred, who was attentive, accommodating and very fair with their pricing. Before I went there today I read the reviews and almost turned around. As I was pulling into the driveway I was relieved to see a well kept very busy collision shop. I immediately realized I was in the right place. I called several body shops to get an estimate. Everybody requested I bring my vehicle in so they could quote me. This was unnecessary because I had no damage to my door, I gave the specific model and year and mentioned I had my parts. What's so hard about just getting a quote? The one company that was willing to quote over the phone quoted me 1 to 1 1/2 hours of work. Waterford collision got me in and out in 30 minutes and did a great job. read more
