My daughter loves coming here and the prices are very reasonable. The staff is always so nice. I never really have an issue with the food except for yesterday.. some parts were cold and others luke warm. It was pretty busy yesterday so i figure they were in a rush. really disappointed. I did there delivery service. The driver was so rude walked up with an attitude. on his phone and didn't say a word to me. He handed my food to me quickly I almost dropped it and just walked away on his phone. Not a word said! and I actually thought about giving an extra cash tip to whoever dropped it off...ha! I went there for a quick breakfast before starting work. I was traveling to the Chicago area for work and not familiar with what was available in the area. I saw the Denny's sign and thought I would try it. At best it was mediocre. I got the all star slam and coffee for $10.18. With tax and tip the total bill was $14.02. I only went to the restaurant one time while there........would not go back again either. Pass on this one and find another place to eat breakfast. read more

It took them forever to give me my food. When it was all said and done, only half of my order was brought out. Once the order was brought out, I asked for the other half. The kid responded, "Oh, my bad I'll go get that." If I wasn't with my wife and her family I would have corrected that situation quick but I kindly took my food and left it at that. read more

I work nearby at the LaQuinta Inn and Ive never had a problem in 3months of ordering til tonight the young light skinned cashier chick with the heavy make up and black hair had a very unprofessional nasty attitude, i was on hold for 5 mins til my order was taken when i hung up and called back twice!! Then had to bring my food back to be made over.. And I suggest this place to my guests Need more employees like Pablo he is the best! read more

So to continue my journey of free food deals on my birthday, we stopped in here for breakfast. This was roughly 8am on a Tuesday. This place was pretty busy for a weekday morning. The free breakfast was a grand slam (choose 4 items) meal. I had scrambled eggs, ham, hash browns, and pancakes. I wasn't expecting to be blown away by anything breakfast but I was so surprised. It was really really yummy. I made a "happy plate" which NEVER happens. Well, except for the pancakes. I only got halfway through those. It's a lot of food people. Our waiter was a dollface and told me happy birthday at least 3 times. My drink was never empty. He was very friendly and attentive. I love this place. I'm surprised I love this place, but I do. I wish I could afford to go here everyday for breakfast. We will definitely be back. The total ticket was roughly 21 bucks before my coupon and tip. My boyfriend did order the huge breakfast plate ( it could feed a small army) though. If you're wanting a diner breakfast and don't want to spend a lot of money. Go here. I came here during finals week because it was the only 24 hour diner in the area. I will return solely because their server Crystal is so awesome. In a time of stress, she really made me relax and kept me caffeinated throughout the night. Crystal put me in a booth near in a quiet part of the restaurant near an outlet so I could use my laptop and study. She seemed to know just when I needed to be left alone, or intuitively offered conversation when I needed a study break. I recently returned for an all-nighter for a difficult class I'm taking and she recognized me right way and gave me the same wonderful service. read more

This Denny's has the worst customer service and gave me the worse experience. We drove quite a distance to find a nice location to avoid a bad experience. I walked in and the first thing the manager said to me is you cant come in here with a drink cause it's our job to make money so you have to throw it out. Didn't say hello or greet us. My latte was almost empty I was trying to finish it while I got seated. I told him sir if we leave and don't return as customers you loose money why not let me finish my latte. He said that's fine you have to throw it away if you want to eat here and reiterated it's his job to make money making it clear that customer service wasn't a priority. I did not get a name but he was a tall older African American male. I go out to eat every weekend and take my latte with me I never been spoke to that way at any restaurant EVER over a latte. This man made it his goal to give us a bad experience and he did soon as we sat down his waitress threw my latte away. My husband is a general manager for a store and he was appalled that a business would rather loose out on a entire family dining and loose a returning customer than to just let me finish my latte which they don't sell at Denny's. Obviously that is not how to make money and retain customers. I won't be returning here we didn't stay, we left and I went down the street to Blueberry Hill who treats me with respect every time I dine there although I have a latte in tow. It'd Denny's folks! The waitress Ana (pronounced On a) is the best. Three are others that are good... She is best. I have NO relationship with her she is just that nice. Love the manager. Good as ordered. Relatively clean seating. Behind counter can be way cleaner. Fast service. Slightly more than McDs. S regular here for years. The manager is awesome as well. Henry is by far the best employee I've ever encountered at Denny's. He's very welcoming and you can tell that he works very hard. I've seen him doing everything, not just hosting (he brought our food out to us as well). I will definitely be coming back since the service was so good. read more

I have only been here for breakfast and lunch and absolutely love it! The staff is super friendly, the food comes out fast and hot. They never get my order wrong. I'm going to have to try going in the evening and see if the staff us just as nice at night. ;-) read more

I went here again, was better. Our waitress this time was nice and funny. Food was not the best again but that is the cheff's/managing's fault. I ordered "To Go" for my family. Once I got home and started to serve the meals to my kids I notice that they had messed the order up. I called and spoke with Henry. He (who remembered the order) asked if I could come back now. I explained to him I was not in the position to do that and asked for a manager. He then advised me whenever I come back just tell whoever I spoke with him and they would replaced the meal, which I thought was ok to correct the error. I called two days later for the replacement order and well let's say things didn't go as he planned. I spoke with Nicole (the manager per her) and explained what did take place with the previous order and she proceeded to tell that their policy was the food had to come back the same day because anyone can say they brought food and it was messed up. Lady you have to be kidding me lol. Do you really think I would go out of my way to get free food from Dennys? If you were professional you should have asked Henry did he tell a customer that? Not to mention everyone can't just run back and forward to Dennys. She needs to be considered of people timing and gas. Anyway I ask for the district manager's number due to her lack of professionalism and well the number given was incorrect. Denny's definitely lost that day (and going forward) because I was willing to order more than just the supposed to be free meal since my kids enjoyDennys, but nonetheless I won't go back and check your food before you leave with a "To Go." read more

We go to Denny's once or twice a month usually on a weekend. Service generally isn't that good as they seem to be understaffed and we accept that. However recently we went on a Monday morning. There were very few patrons and many more servers than I've ever seen in the past. Most of them were standing around doing nothing,(again there were very few customers). We were seated in the last booth next to the washrooms even though there were so many empty booths upfront. We're middle aged, casually dressed, not vulgar or anything so why they would put us as far back as possible next to the washroom is beyond me. After sitting for several minutes no one came by to ask if we wanted coffee, juice, etc. In the meantime a woman server was placing silverware at the booths in front of us completely ignoring our booth while the many other servers were still standing around idle. It had been a while and we went through the menu made our selections and still no server. After all this time we decided to get up and leave. We don't plan on returning. read more
