OMG! I spent $28 on a Original Grand Slam meal, coffee and OJ! Ridiculous! Food was okay but way overpriced.

Everything is just ok. Nothing good or bad. The portion is really small. I got two French toasts and egg and bacon and I was hungry after an hr. Better go to Sheryl and get some really good food with half the price and double portions.

Traveling & wanted a real breakfast, I went to Dennys. It was busy, but had no idea how long my visit would be. I was seated at the counter since I was alone. It took a bit to get a menu & some juice. The waiter was friendly & apologetic. They were short staffed & super busy. I wasn't in a rush, so I stayed. I ended up at Dennys for about an hour. During my visit I watched 3 waitstaff & 2 kitchen staff handle more work than they should ever have to! They were consistently hustling, helping each other, focused & friendly at the same time. I was amazed & not even mad that I had to wait. Breakfast, when I finally got it was delicious! Kudos to this staff!

Wait staff was friendly, coffee was good. The wait time for the food was ridiculous. Wasn't even busy and was around 2:30 on a Saturday.

We ordered 3 pancakes which we got and 2 eggs which ended up looking like this...

It was good! Very disappointed that they don't carry grits! My favorite is the zucchini, squash dish for dinner!

King Arthur Baking Company - Inside of Kouign-Amman ($4.50) - good! Better than the morning bun.

I've tried several holiday menus around the region, and KAB is a clear standout. I ordered a baguette and vegetable quiche to round out my own meal, plus an apple pie and bûche de Noël for dessert. Pick-up was seamless. The café was bustling with happy customers carrying pastries and coffee, but the preorder station was just inside the door to the right. I gave my name, they confirmed the contents, and I was quickly on my way. The whole place has such a warm, upbeat vibe--bustling but never chaotic. The staff are fantastic: friendly, organized, and genuinely happy to help. Even on a busy holiday pick-up day, everything felt calm and well-run. The quiche came with clear heating instructions (which I really appreciate, as not everywhere provides them). It was fully cooked and only needed 20 minutes in the oven. The filling was light yet rich, and the delicate filo crust was such a lovely surprise. Not a single slice was left over! The apple pie was perfectly baked with a tall, flaky crust and well-balanced apple filling--lightly sweet, gently spiced, and sliced just right so each piece held together beautifully. This was also my first bûche de Noël, and now the bar is impossibly high. The dark chocolate sponge was tender and filled with real whipped cream and the perfect hint of brandied cherries--beautifully balanced rather than overpowering. The chocolate mousse frosting and thin ganache glaze were flawless, and the decoration (meringue mushrooms and sugared cranberries) made it truly special. I sincerely hope KAB continues their holiday menu every year, because I fully plan to cook less and order more from them. Everything was exceptional.

As tourists, this was a must see place! We loved walking through the store, checking out the baking…read morearea and then getting food at the cafe. The lattes were pretty standard and the pastries were a bit disappointing. The flavor profile of the focaccia was odd - corn, tomato, and spicy mayo. The croissant was extremely flavored but lacked a butter flavor. The service was quick and plenty of seating. Many small tables would be preferred to the long almost banquet table options.

Our hostess and later server, Leona, answered the phone and was extremely pleasant in letting us know she could get us seated. Leona recommended the Brussels and they did not disappoint with a perfect combo of roasted small Brussel sprouts with crispy prosciutto, goat cheese mousse and pickled red onions. What a great combo!! We also split the spinach salad which was perfect for winter with dried cherries, blue cheese, candied pecans and apples. We also had the artichoke fritters which had a subtle taste of artichoke and bits of tangy lemon. We split the ginger pork meatloaf and it was a creative, delicious take on traditional meatloaf. The flavor was reminiscent of the inside of a superb Peking dumpling. The dining room was decorated with beautiful area photos and there was beautiful display of custom designed knives that could be seen in a show case on the way to the restrooms. I took a photo because it may come in handy for a future gift for some aspiring chefs in my family! Excited to add Thyme to our list of stops in between our travels to and from MA to VT.

We stopped in here on a whim for lunch and I am glad we did. The hostess asked if we had…read morereservations (we did not), apparently that is a good idea because they are normally much busier at 1pm when we arrived, but she was easily able to seat my husband and I. Honestly, I was hoping to have a soup of some type but there was none available on the menu so I opted for the chicken salad Sandwich (didn't seem a very Turkish fare), but it was good...although the Sandwich needed more chicken salad to offset the thick Texas toast; there really was very little on the Sandwich. My husband had their PLT, a sandwich that had more substance to it (there was more bacon on it than there was chicken on my sandwich)...but again, both sandwiches tasted good. To drink we tried a couple of their cocktails and while tasty and unique they were very speedy, $16 is far too much to charge for them...the price definitely prevented me from having another, and when we go back to have dinner...we probably will skip drinks (not worth $32 for two people.) Don't get me wrong, we aren't cheap people, we just want a good value...the drinks aren't that. Our server was great! He was friendly, helpful, and there when we needed him. Couldn't have asked for more from him. We did also have a hot appetizer. I forget the name of it now, it was $9 for 2, deep fried rolls (like egg rolls of a sort but with Philly dough and filled differently), these were very good...I could have eaten several, I wish I remembered what they were, but they are last on the list of hot appetizers so you can find them.
