    Gluten free pistachio cookie

Such a cute café with great gluten free options. I tried the pistachio cookie, which I'd never seen before, and it was delicious. The inside is adorable, and there's also a really nice outdoor seating area. They sell fun extras like stickers, t-shirts, and canned drinks, and the coffee menu has some unique specialty flavors. There's both a breakfast and lunch menu, and lots of unique seating options to choose from, which makes it a great place to hang out for a bit.

We knew this place would be great when we saw the amount of people sitting outside. Finding Parking was fairly easy and even though there was a line that moved very quickly. My mom and I shared French toast with bacon, and my friend had a goat cheese sandwich. DELICIOUS! We would come here again in the area. Def try the local seltzer water, the blueberry tretap was a perfect refreshing treat!

We were visiting Woodstock for New England Falconry in July. We went to Mon Vert Cafe for breakfast. There were 5 of us. The line was very long and it took quite a while to order breakfast. If I only wanted a coffee, I would have gone elsewhere. I am Celiac, and they had options to accomodate me and I didn't get sick so that was great. We ate outside. They came out with the food when it was ready. Everyone enjoyed their breakfast. Overall, the food was excellent. It took quite a while for our breakfast to come out. Breakfast for 5 was about $125. They automatically add a tip for orders over $100. Overall, we enjoyed it, and the food was great. On a busy day though we might go somewhere else. The wait to order and get the food was very long on a busy day and it's pricey.

This is a cute but super popular place! The line is long and everything is freshly made so bring your patience! You order at the counter & food is brought to you - there are signs on the tables that let you know it could be about 25 minutes for a sandwich, which does seem long - but totally worth the wait! Seating is limited BUT we didn't have a problem finding a table for our group of 8 (for both lunch and breakfast! It was that good, we went twice!) I had the goat blt & the breakfast that I was expecting to be a sandwich but was more of an avocado toast. the vegetarian sausage is DELISH!!! 10/10 would come back!

Woodstock, VT - we needed to grab a quick bite to eat for lunch and were directed here by a local proprietor. It's both a café and restaurant, and uses locally sourced organic ingredients, which I always support and appreciate. The atmosphere is relaxed and there are artworks on the wall by local artists. You order at the counter and pick up your food when the buzzer goes off. The seating layout is a bit awkward, but there are more tables upstairs and also outdoor patio seating. We managed to find a vacant table for 6 but the vibe is more of a café hang than a sit-down restaurant. I can't say any of the food we ordered really stood out or impressed me, but my iced coffee was good. 3.5 stars but bumping to 4 for using local produce.

Found street parking. Thankfully there wasn't a line. Not really sure what the fuss about this place is, is just a cafe. Staff weren't very welcoming. I believe the kitchen closes at 3:30pm or so, we arrived shortly before the kitchen closed. Alright coffee. Decent sandwich, could have had more filling. Street dining but isn't all that picturesque I was expecting Woodstock to be.

Solid, welcoming cafe in the center of Woodstock with lots of seating downstairs and upstairs. They didn't sell soup that day, so had the "Got Your Goat" BLT and it was okay, nothing to rush back for. Wouldn't come back but glad to try it.

We stopped in for breakfast at Mon Vert Cafe because it seemed to be well liked. When we arrived the line to place an order at the counter wrapped around the first floor. The line moved at a fairly good pace and we were able to review the menu while waiting. My husband ordered the breakfast plate and I ordered the breakfast burrito as a bowl. We opted for bottled beverages although they offer a wide selection of coffee and tea. We lucked out and got a table on the first floor although there is also seating opportunities upstairs and outside. Overall the food was good. The staff were helpful. Give Mon Vert a try although if the line is too long feel free to go somewhere else. You're not missing out on something.

The line was long but moved quick! Honestly, I was surprised how quickly our food came after we ordered; waiting in line was the longest part. The BLT with basil aioli was one of the best I've had. I got berries on the side and they were firm and sweet. The matcha latte was very grassy, and I probably would order a different drink next time. But the staff were very patient and friendly considering how crowded the place was. Plenty of seating and clean bathrooms. Overall, a fabulous cafe!

The Zesto was probably the best sandwich I've had in a while. The bread stayed crunchy and crispy for my whole meal even with all the pesto layered on, chicken wasn't tough, cheese was stringy and hot--just perfection. Their apple cider is (for lack of better words) very apple-y and not overly sweet. They get BUSYYY though. Line out the door on a Friday afternoon that took a good minute to get through. Decor is super cute tho, and most of the staff is very friendly. Grab a spot outside if you can!

Pastry so good I didn't get the chance to share not even one bite! They def know what they're doing here and it shows. I like how they add seasonal flavors to their menu- they like to spice things up like their pumpkin pastry- just wow, chefs kiss! Also kudos to them for thinking out of the box and giving the people what they want without even knowing it. Only reason this isnt a 5 star is because the damn line was up the stairs-- like ALL the way up the stairs. & eventually when i got up to order I realized that theyre not really working efficiently. Its one person taking orders and I think even that same person helps with coffee orders. Just not a smooth process and I feel like if they focused on that- they wouldn't have such a long wait. Might be a good idea for them to have 2 people taking orders/2 cash registers. Also, tables were a bit dirty and you couldnt sit outside because of how many bees there were.

The hostess was incredibly personable and sweet. I'd had a crap day and really just wanted a beer. It was 5 minutes to close. I figured it wasn't going to happen, but I figured I'd look at their draft menu for the next day and get an idea of what I'd want to eat when I come back. Not only did they take great care of me and get me a MUCH needed beer, but when I came back to eat the next day it got even better! I couldn't decide which beer I wanted. The girl was SO nice and gave me half of each. Good call, because I definitely liked one more than the other! Now HERE is the BEST PART: the worthy burger. Sweet Jesus. I heard angels. Seriously one of the best burgers I've ever had. Ever. The bun was perfect and THOSE PICKLES! The cheese was perfectly melted. Just the right amount of secret sauce. Did I mention the pickles were amazing? I also ordered truffle fries with Parmesan and a kid size order of the Mac and cheese. Because real cheese. They weren't bad. The truffle fries were on the milder side, but tasty. Maybe a little soft. Pro tip: get the pesto aoli to dip! I like homemade Mac and cheese and I hardly ate more than a few bites. I had heard great things but eh. Maybe I was just in love with the burger! I didn't get a picture. But it was New Year's Day, options were limited, but I'm so grateful Farmer & The Bell was open, because this experience has changed my life, and here's why. If you lined up a dozen donuts in front of me, I would have never chosen a French cruller. But one bite into the double chocolate donut, I instantly knew it the #1best donut I've ever had. And I don't say that lightly--I'm a self-proclaimed foodie with very high standards. My wife and I loved it so much that we went back into the line and ordered a dozen more to bring all the way back to Connecticut for friends and family. April immediately stood out behind the counter. She greeted every customer with a huge smile and true New Year's cheer, radiating gratitude and positivity. What impressed me most was watching her greet regulars by name--especially impressive considering they've only been in their permanent location for a couple months. Even with the long line, everyone was friendly and upbeat. When it was our turn, we never felt rushed. In fact, they took the time for genuine small talk, which made the experience even better. What really sealed the deal for me was their story. You can read more about it on their website. I got goosebumps reading it.
