However, when I arrived there was quite a bit of confusion at the hostess stand. It was left vacant for a long periods at a time that had patrons asking each other what to do next. Once we finally got seated. Service was also slow slow... The waitress was super kind though. I understand Tracy doesn't have a lot of choices. We sat on the patio because we brought our dogg-o. I really enjoyed the outside seating. It was a hot day but not too bad. Ok so for the food I had the salmon saute, my sweetheart had a pancake combo and my sweetheart jr. had the kids french toast. We all loved our food. The hubby thought the pancakes were a bit dry but he liked his lemonade, the portions, and the sausage. My salmon was good. Charred nicely and the veggies were seasoned nicely. My little sweetheart liked his French toast and side of fresh fruit. Mama also indulged a bit on some Bellini's... Very tasty and worth the $12. TLDR... I'm not saying don't go but I'm also not telling you to go.

They even got the food out to us 15 minutes before the food was expected to arrive! As always, everything was delicious, hot, and the texture was comparable to what we get when we eat at the restaurant as well. You can tell that the staff here cares about their to go customers just as much as those who dine in. We are so appreciative about the service and quality of food that we received last night, and cannot recommend this place enough!! We will definitely be back soon and recommend that everyone do the same!

There are also a couple of semi-private dining areas toward the back that are slightly separated from the main dining room. The interior has a cozy, rustic feel with exposed brick that made me feel like I wasn't in Tracy. Our server was friendly, attentive, and quick to take our drink orders while we looked over the menu. The only minor disappointment was the drip coffee, which had a bit more bitterness than I prefer. I ordered a build-your-own omelet with three eggs, avocado, bacon, and cheese, served with fresh fruit and wheat toast. The omelet was a generous size, and they definitely didn't skimp on the bacon. The fruit was fresh, and the wheat toast had the perfect balance of being lightly crisp on the outside while still soft and buttery inside. Overall, I had a very good experience. The food was satisfying, the service was excellent, and the restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere. I'd definitely come back the next time I'm in the mood for breakfast.

This place is located right next to Motel 6 filled with drug addicts and a whole lot of crime. So whenever they get the munchies they walk to Denny's. This Denny's is by far the worst. If you do come here, be sure to park close, lock your doors and turn on your alarm. The staff couldn't care less about your orders either. You will wait and have to listen to a bunch of cracked out teens, drunks and irresponsible adults. The management is by far the worst. Expect to get attitude from all of them. I'd rather eat Top Ramen at home. Don't spend your money here. The cops are literally there every night. What a shame for the food. It's management that deserves 0 stars. read more

When you go to Denny's you're going to eat cheap food. Everything's frozen. If you want something good you'll have to go to a real restaurant and pay more but you'll get some quality food. Denny's is good when you're on a budget. Don't expect some 5-Star breakfast. A grand slam for under $5, can't complain too much. It's also in the same parking lot as motel 6 and we all know druggies and homeless people are all up in that place. If you go at night BEWARE! Other than that, typical Denny's restaurant and you can feed your entire family for under $25 with the 2, 4 and 6 dollar option meals. read more

I gave this place 1 star cause I couldn't give 0. The owners are rude especially to their older employees. They told there managers to get rid of the older workers and only hire young pretty girls. Even though the experience of the older ones was better for customer service. They make their employees sign documents that say they will never sue for any reason. And if you didn't sign you would lose your job. It is just a terrible place. And because of the way they treat there employees especially the older ones is the main reason they only got 1 star. I was so happy to have Yash as my server again today. She is always incredibly sweet, kind, and attentive--truly someone who makes you feel like family. Her level of customer service is exceptional, some of the best I've experienced in years. The entire team was pleasant and welcoming, with everyone smiling and clearly enjoying their work. there's a lot of people in this town , that know, that the broiler chef on the midnight shift at Denny's is the BEST broiler chef in town !. I make sure that I go there on his shifts . I won't let anyone else cook for me . There's no describing it . You have to go there for yourself and check it out . Rental car was broken into here last weekend. They hit another car as well. Apparently this happens all the time. Thieves took off with tons of personal effects as well as some of my military equipment. They also hit another rental car in the parking lot. This place will need a whole new customer service system. Been there several time, and it gets worse and worse each time I go. Burnt meat, lazy and slow waitresses on previous visits. The last time we went, waited to be seated for about 5 minutes when there is no one in front us, and only 4 tables are occupied, finallly got seated and waited a good 5 minutes to get a drink order, then waited a good 10 minutes and waited.... I'm a regular customer here, & I enjoy eatting here late nights. The food is good, & the server is nice. I always forget my favorite waitress' name, but I do dislike the skinny girl. How she forgets that she seated us, so we waited for pretty much a good 10 minutes, then walked up to her & what we received was, "oh yeah?!" That is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL what so ever. We go to this Denny's on Tracy Blvd for breakfast after church every Sunday for years. Irene use to be our personal waitress til she changed shifts. We loved her. She always remembered our order, week to week. Then when she left, we went thru several new servers.. FINALLY we found the new "Irene", in Marcus. He is the best server/ waiter ever! Last chance at a good meal because it was after 8pm. Wanted to have it delivered but the door dash drivers kept passing over our order. Called the Manager, Lorain and she told us to come pick it up and she would have a fresh meal made for us. True to her word the food was hot and fresh. Great service during a weird time. read more
