I stopped here to have breakfast with my family. It was a clean and spacious Denny's restaurant. Each table was fully stocked with condiments, pancake syrup, and hot sauce. Our waitress provided good service; she was friendly and attentive throughout our entire visit. I ordered a veggie omelette w/avocado slices, dry wheat toast, fruit, and two of the 9-grain pancakes. I took my friend out to lunch for her birthday. Left and realized I forgot to use my AARP card. I went back, with receipt in hand (30 minutes later) to get my discount and the manager said the system doesn't allow them to do it after the fact. I find it very hard to believe a transaction can't be amended or redone. Just having to give up a job and I couldn't get my discount, tough lesson. Every time I do online orders here the food is always just warm, never hot. I always go ahead of the pickup time so I can actually get my food when it's supposed to be ready and it's always just warm and soggy. Wow, had breakfast with my significant other this morning and talk about overpriced and there is no such thing as a cheap slam breakfast. They're all 16 bucks plus the coffee was $4.60 I can remember when Denny's will advertise and you could go to see the options for that price. The $9.99 slam breakfast was only one slam and if you wanted to add to it, it would be à la cart. They definitely did not get the email or a new contract on egg prices. Came in during the wee hours of the morning (2 am) on my way down Hwy 101 toward Arroyo Grande and was greeted by Jennifer as I entered the restaurant. She explained that the kitchen was closed temporarily due to routine maintenance. They were, however, able to serve beverages and desserts. I ordered a cup of decaf coffee and she said to have a seat while she brewed a fresh pot for me. I must comment on the cleanliness of the women's restroom. The restroom condition is an indicator to me that the staff and management cares about its facility and the impact it has on customers. The restroom was immaculate which is not often the case in most restaurants. Jennifer brought me a fresh cup of decaf and a bowl full of the Delight French vanilla creamers. She was very attentive and asked if there was enough sugar condiments on the table for me. Because of the drive ahead, I switched gears to caffeinated coffee which Jennifer was able to accommodate me with a fresh pot of Denny's famous coffee. She was very friendly and quite chipper at such a late hour. I was so pleased with her personable service and noticed how kind she was to other delivery workers; some of whom spoke only Spanish. The piped-in music of Mexico could be heard from the kitchen and it was a accompanied by a kitchen staff member who had a fabulous tenor voice. Very funny and enjoyable. All in all, this Denny's location is a good example of what a Diner ought to be. Great pitstop for drivers who want to enjoy a nice meal, use the facilities, and take a break from the road. Lowkey really good experience, I rarely go to Denny's, it was just a stop going from SF to LA around 2am. The server(Moya) made it chill too, actually showed like he cared unlike some other servers at restaurants. We had a problem with the food and he took cared of it really fast and calm. Either i am getting old or inflation is breaking the sound barrier. We decided to do a lazy Easter brunch at Denny's. I opted for the Benny and substituted the ham for deli turkey meat with hash browns. Coupled with the Bourbon BBQ sauce it hit the spot. They were busy but I get the impression they are always busy on the weekend. The wait time was reasonable and the staff polite. Overall it was a pleasant respite from cooking but long gone are the days of two people leaving Denny's with a bill under $30. With a reasonable tip ours was $60. Sadly, I feel I could spend that for two on takeout at Crab Bucket in Salinas which warrants the cost much more. Again good and experience positive, cost for everything, not so much. Figured I cannot slight them for my review based on food but they are definitely are a $$ approaching $$$ which for Denny's just seems wrong! read more

Passing through and Denny's was the perfect place to stop and get a cup of coffee for the road. Dinning area is spacious with lots of seating and its well maintained. The few times I have been here its clean and tables are ready for customers to sit down and enjoy their meal. Restrooms are always clean, a big plus. It was a pretty normal Dennys. The staff was accommodating which was nice! The food was okay and nothing special.

Food wasn't that good. Ordered a fit slam and she asked if I wanted avocado and I said no. It came out from the kitchen with avocado , $$ surcharge. Plus the .50 per egg surcharge. Something is going on with the bathroom. You hear water gurgling in the pipes and they have lots of deodorizer to mask the smell of sewer gases. read more

We went in after work on a Tuesday afternoon. We were greeted and welcomed by German. He conversed with us and seated us with ease. He took our drink order and came back with them quick. We had a sampler for an appetizer and a fried chicken plate with veggies and potato's. The food was hot and fresh. Everything was perfect!! Our server was great! Very friendly place to stop on a rainy day. As soon as we were seated a waiter came by to take out drinks order. He returned with piping hot coffee and kept the cup filled up. The service at this location wasn't great. Our servers were very rushed and brought us extra drinks that we didn't ask for and proceeded to charge us for them. Additionally, I ordered a sandwich and the server put the order in wrong and it ended up taking a whole hour to get to our table. Why do Denny's still exist? I stopped at this location to grab a bite and stretch my legs on one of my long drives from LA to the Bay. The inside of the restaurant smelled like burnt grease (and that's with me wearing a mask!), the limited menu sucks, the tent they set up in the parking lot was dirty, trash everywhere, super depressing. They're doing a COVID experiment to see how fast you can pick up coronavirus. Just stopped to dine at Denny's on our way to Sonoma. I travel with a small 5 lbs service dog. She was inside a dog stroller beside me( needs to be close for medical alerts). I was rudely told by "management" that she was not allowed to be in a stroller. She had to be underneath the table and her stroller was not allowed inside the building. If we were to stay I had to take the stroller out of the restaurant. I asked if it was allowed for children to be in a stroller. He said children in stroller's were ok but dog strollers were not. My dog and stroller are way cleaner than the floor in their restaurant. I would not recommend anyone to ever go there. read more

Probably the worst dining experience I have had ever. It's a Denny's so I was not expecting much but the waitress never refilled our water the entire time we were at our table and I drank mine in the first minute (I was really thirsty). We were on a road trip through Central California and there weren't any options open for a late dinner so we decided to stop by Denny's. I'm not really a fan of Denny's, as I've probably only eaten at Denny's 3 times in my life. I'm not sure if this one was an exception but this Denny's was on point. To start, the servers were attentive and friendly. This Denny's was very clean, unlike the other few locations I've visited. I think it may have been a new location, because everything in the restaurant looked new. I was trying to eat healthier, so I ordered the Wild Alaska Salmon with broccoli. My husband ordered the garlic peppercorn Sirloin with mashed potatoes. Both entrees were delicious. They were well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The sides were very good too.
