One of my friends recommended Denny's breakfast or something, and I didn't know what to expect. Denny's and iHop, in my opinion, have always been really similar and kinda had my expectations held around that zone. Meaning, I wasn't anticipating much--maybe a little above average?? When I came in, the staff weren't really nice, and the place was a bit messy, like napkins splayed around the tables and crumbs leftover. The lady said it would be a 2 hour wait!! The place was a bit full, but some tables were open, and we waited, thinking they were overreacting a lot with the estimated wait. It took 5 hours in all, actually. We should have seen the signs and just left, but my group was really eager and were pretty psyched to have the food. I guess our waiter was okay, but slow, and we got our food really late. I had come around breakfast yet received food as a late lunch, like 2:00. Very bad. The pancakes my sister got were stale and cold, I had a bagel which was not great--cream cheese was packaged. My family and I had breakfast here on 31 August and unfortunately had "Rosario" as our server. She forgot half of our order which I had to ask her to remove from our check. No apology or offer to actually make it right. When she brought me a cup of chicken soup vice the bowl that I ordered, she argued with me and said the bowl was basically the same as a cup. What?! Since Rosario forgot our order and her customer service, I felt free to forget her tip. read more

Good place to go..........................IF you're not hungry !!!!! I came here mid-morning. It was not busy. I stood at the door honoring the, "Please wait to be seated" sign.......... and was IGNORED! I sat down at the counter............. and waited. I grabbed a menu.......... and sat. It was NOT BUSY! In fact, 4 waitresses stood just to my left for several minutes and continued to ignore me as I put the menu down to show my decision was made. Then, they all 4 walked away !! I got the message. I was well dressed, don't smell, and acted 'normal" but was IGNORED for over 10 minutes. Finally, my hunger & loneliness got the best of me and I left. RIDICULOUS read more

I hadn't ever really been to Denny's--I was suspecting an iHop-type atmosphere and food-quality, so my expectations were wobbling in the middle of the spectrum: not too high, but not really low, either. However, I was not expecting my lunch to delay and end up as bad as it did. Me and my family arrived around 11:00, maybe an early lunch. But, to my dismay, all the tables were full, along with the restaurant. We were told we would wait around 2 hours. So we did. At 1:00, the 2 hours promised, the tables were still full. We were told ANOTHER 2 hours!! We had to wait, and everyone was grumbling and starving. 2 hours passed yet again. Tables?? Still full, surprise surprise. We had to wait ANOTHER 1 hour!! Yes!! When we got the tables, we all ordered Cokes, and got them another 30 mins later. By now, the restaurant was empty, just us. Why was the service so slow? We ordered food--3 salads and 2 hamburgers--and the food came nearly 1 hour later, but the waiter spilled the salads and a burger on the ground. Long story short, we waited until 6:00 to finally be served, and even though I can pity a restaurant struggling to fulfill orders as the cafe fills up, this was annoying and horrible. I ordered the grand slam slugger. Nice food placement on plate and cooked well. The waitress warned us we may have a wait on order due to large table ahead of us that was greatly appreciated. The wait time was not bad at all. The waitress gave us some to go coffee since we were traveling. Restrooms clean except for no TP in stall of women's restroom. In men's restroom was horrible mess. So maybe more frequent RR checks. read more

We stayed at a hotel nearby and saw Denny's ads and banners for online ordering. So we placed an order at about 9:40am for pickup at 10:45am. Basic order, nothing custom or difficult to make. Walk in at 10:45 and they tell us it'll be about 10-15min. What's the point of ordering online for a certain time if it's not ready? We are traveling and are trying to stick to a schedule. They had over and hour to prepare our food. Her excuse was they got busy and online orders aren't a priority. I then watched a little boy trip and fall & spill his drink and the same lady didn't do anything about it. Just stared at him. Didn't get a mop, didn't offer to help nor did she ask if he was ok. After about 5 minutes a man working saw the spill and rushed over to clean it. Overall very poor service at this location because of the woman working (the one with green hair). Mari and Izzy that helped towards the end were WAY more helpful. read more

Terrible. Awful. The worst place I've ever been. We were seated and then promptly ignored for half an hour, after which time a waiter asked if we were ready to order and was mad at us when we asked for menus. We ordered drinks then, and 15 minutes later the waiter came back to take our order. We waited 30 minutes for our food, which arrived for three of our party of four and left the fourth with nothing, as they hadn't bothered to place her order in the kitchen with the rest. So the rest of us ate the incorrect food we received and by the time we were done her food still hadn't shown up... We asked a different waiter to cancel her food and take it off the bill(because our waiter hadn't been seen in 25 minutes), and he was upset about having to do that. No drink refills the whole time, wrong and completely missing food, and the worst service we've EVER experienced. We will NEVER go to ANY Denny's again. read more

DO NOT WASTE YOU MONEY AND TIME HERE!!! My family and I traveled from Washington State to look around Roswell since it is so popular. We were seated by a woman. We told her there were not placemats or silverware on the table. She said she would get them right away. She never returned. The waiter provided drinks and took our order. The wait was incredibly long. Some of us got very shabby plates as most items missing. They said they would be back and we believed them. Some of our party started to eat, then they brought what they said was the rest. The food was COLD and un-eatable and they still forgot more things and never brought them. The silver ware was dirty, the whole restaurant was filthy from the floors, booths and tables. More odd was that they were not busy and no tables were being prepared for other suckers who would enter this building expecting to eat. Dirty tables had not been set up the whole time we were there. This is the worst Denny's restaurant I have ever seen and should be labeled with Haz- Mat stickers and closed by the corporation. The only reason I give it a 1-star is because they do not have a negative scale. If you want filthy floors, dirty table, cold food and most of your meal missing, this may be the Denny's for you!
