Had breakfast with my family and had a great experience Barbara had great customer service our food came quick no issues.

We thought it was going to be better once it was under new management but every time we go back, there is something that goes wrong. Sadly, the servers rarely check up on us every time. Today was okay for once but it even took over 30 min just to get our check on top of waiting for 45 min for food just for portions to small. We watched other people sit down after us, get their food, and leave before us. We didn't complain at all but it's just disappointing every time when it happens consistently. They reopened this location right before new years and it's we've gone back several time (too many to count) and it just gets worse every time. Since December we've seen: -Lack of service & attentiveness -Unhelpful cashiers (what's the point of a reward program if your systems don't allow our points? They say they take rewards, say our points/rewards are disqualified and just give us student discount which doesn't equate to what we were trying to use...so points/rewards go to wasted because "we've redeemed them for in-store use to only find out they can't redeem it!?) -portions are decreasing every time but prices stay the same? Idk how that works or they just simply don't care -will continue to ask if you want dessert but won't bring the check -This location is extremely bright so if you're sensitive to migraines or light in general, best to avoid. -sensitive to music or sounds especially if music is inconstant, avoid. They music is always breaking up and the sound system can be very inconsistent so it's best to avoid for those who have misophonia like myself, neurodivergent, and have specific disabilities that will be triggered. Want a better location to go to that's consistent? Go to the on in MoVal on sunnymead. They have not disappointed us thus far. read more

Besides it being closed for two hours when it's supposed to be 24 hours, the service was good and my table got our food fairly quickly. Our server Lydia was a sweetheart very kind and quick to assist us. My table loved the music that was playing in the restaurant, very groovy. read more

Wanted breakfast before work and this was the closest option. The food was ok but extremely over priced. The service was quick and efficient. The parking lot was just redone so the lines are crisp but the parking really seems close together. Placed a to-go order so didn't really observe the ambiance. I order the brioche French toast slam with hash browns and a large orange juice. The meal came up to $28.23 From the picture that Large Orange juice is not worth $4.29 Overall it was OK but not worth the price. read more

I don't usually leave reviews, but this experience was extremely disappointing. My boyfriend and I came in very early in the morning to order takeout so we could go home and watch a movie. Instead, we waited a long time and left with no food. When we arrived, we were told we had to wait to place our order because the employee was outside in her car. After finally ordering, the employee (Michelle) told us the system was down but said it would be back up in a few minutes so we could pay. We waited a long time, our food was ready, and the system was still down. She then mentioned that this "happens every day," which was never disclosed before we ordered. She wanted us to continue waiting to pay while our food got cold, even though another party had already been waiting a long time as well. She then asked if we could Zelle her directly so she could "take care of it later," which felt very unprofessional and made us uncomfortable. I have never experienced anything like that at a Denny's before. When I decided to leave, she snapped at me as if I was talking to her while I was speaking to my boyfriend. She's truly needs to be re trained and treat people better. Meanwhile, there was a man at the front cussing and making inappropriate comments to people coming in, and nothing was done about it. When I asked to speak to a manager, she seemed unwilling to provide that information. Why would a business keep taking orders knowing there's no way for the customer to pay and then you want to hold everyone hostage till your system reboots . ? Overall, the customer service was terrible and the environment felt unprofessional. I do not recommend coming here, especially early in the morning. read more

They turned off online ordering smh. Also the cooks and waitresses are miserable and you can tell they hate life especially the ones that work at night. I would never go to this one again. Only reason they are still open is cause all the college kids eat there. Has to be the worst Dennys in all of America! The food and service was good overall. However, they no longer honor the AARP discount for seniors which is quite disappointing. They indicated they were "transitioning" into a reward program but no details were given. As the program had not started, it would have been reasonable to continue the AARP program. If this is a franchise, the new owner is making a mistake as there are other Denny's nearby. We won't be returning here. read more

My husband and I are regulars at Denny's on University. Service and food has always been excellent, even during change of management. The restaurant is going under renovations at this time but we can't wait to get back when it is done. read more

Ordered 55 Salmon with broccoli and red potatoes. Served on a small plate. The Salmon hanging off the side of the plate. Broccoli was four small pieces. No greetings by anybody, couldn't hear or understand my server. Told the cook had rules to follow and couldn't give any more broccoli. She had to go to the Manager to express my dissatisfaction with the portion size of the Broccoli. I did get another portion. They now are owned by a third party and don't take AARP any longer. Food was fine came out quick and what we ordered but dang terrible service from our waitress Liz, we started with ordering coffee and before we can ask for iced water she was walking away, zoom. so we waited when she brought the coffee we asked can we have water ? She says iced water? As she's walking away, zoom. So we get our water and food comes a little later and then our coffee runs low so we need coffee and cream. There was an issue at the checkout thing with some people but it's whatever we wait. She finishes and is zooming by, Excuse me? Can we have more coffee? More coffee ok! walking away as quickly as she says it again and so we both try and keep her attention and say and creamer ! I ordered a modified meal that every other Dennys I have been to has provided. (Grilled chicken breast and not breaded chicken breast.) The server asked the manager and the manager said no. The server came back and let me know. There was nothing else I wanted. I did not order. They lost my business. My kids ate, because she already put their order in. I just paid for their meal. Honestly, I will not come back. Even Canes will do un-breaded chicken. The server was nice, and she seemed uncomfortable with me not ordering anything else. Recently went here to pick up an online order and as I was walking in one of the male workers was arguing with his girlfriend outside the restaurant. They continued their argument which was getting shouty and a little physical into the restaurant where the worker went into the bathroom and his girlfriend followed. She was crying and yelling at him which is when he responded with slapping her multiple times as she continued to cry and scream. I called the cops and told management what happened which is when I was told that they "needed" him to work because the were short staffed even after knowing what he'd done. Was sat down and waited a long time ( to long )before anyone ask what to drink and placed order. We got the coffee and asked for sugar, waited over 5 minutes. Went and asked manger for sugar. By that time we had enough and said cancel order.. only drank lass then half cup and the manger still had us pay for the coffee. The worst experience I've ever had at a diner restaurant. Didn't check on us a single time after checking every 90 seconds if we were ready to order 5 times, sat on their phone the entire time when we were one of two tables in the entire restaurant, just awful. I didn't even finish my pancakes, which is crazy because they're pancakes, are you serious? I genuinely didn't realize I could hate Dennys this much even with a coupon the order was still insanely overpriced. read more
