Dennys has improved its game over the last few years. The only place around i can get grits with breakfast, and burgers are good. Chicken noodle soup is large and surprisingly tasty. Side salads are medium sized and fresh. The corporate limit on fries is ridiculous, way too few. Sausages are pedestrian, bacon is weak. Ultimate omelet menu said bacon, sausage, peppers, onion and cheese. There only two 1/4" pieces of bacon and less than 1 link of something they presented as sausage. It was gray and tasteless. There were a lot of slimy onions and green peppers. The hash brown portion was small. DO NOT ORDER THE OMLET! It looks like they scrapped off the griddle waste and put in the omlete. Oh gosh where do I start with this Denny's. I guess it just depends on the cooks. Either they forgot to give me my Bacon extra crispy or give me Bacon at all. Sausage was still a bit red inside and I detest that. It repulses me. Some servers are great others are not. Sometimes its perfect and sometimes not so perfect. Only go there when nothing else sounds good or is closed. I hate being there when its so full of people. First of all it took a while for them to even seat us. Then once they finally sat us down we were sitting there for like at least 20 mins and hadn't been greeted or acknowledged at all. Once I saw a server walk by I asked her if someone was gonna check on us because we had been waiting a while. And she just said "yes" she didn't even say sorry or anything. 10 mins later still no one has checked on us!!! But I see the server I talked to earlier (Vanessa) giving around coffee refills to the other tables, still haven't greeted us!! Why is she going around giving coffee refills when she hasn't even greeted us or acknowledged us at all. As a server, I find this very disrespectful and unprofessional. If they don't have enough servers, they need to close or something because this is not okay. We were waiting so long we just ended up leaving! Expect to wait a long to time to get your order if you decide to eat at this restaurant. Our party had two adults, two children and an infant. It took a while for our orders to be taken after we were seated. Once the order was taken, it took even longer to get our food. People who were seated after us were getting their orders while our hungry party waited and waited and waited. I finally had to ask someone to check on our order. Even then, we waited and waited. The people in the table next to us, who were seated after us, got served before us. I said something to the effect that we had been there before them and that's when the server looked at us, ran back to the kitchen and came running out with our food as we were getting ready to leave. We had ordered french toast for one of the kids and all it was was once slice of bread cut in half with a bowl of grapes. For a seven year old kid. We ended up sharing our food with her and gobbling ours down because we had waited so long and we had to get going. We never got an apology for the excessive wait (about 40 minutes). We only got excuses. We got into Denny's at 12:15 and left close to 2. Lunch should not take that long, especially when you have kids in the party. And the kicker was we ended up paying $54 for a lousy meal and lousy experience. Needless to say, we are never going back. If you are on the road and get off at Patterson to eat, there are plenty of other places to go to. Don't go to Denny's. You'll be sorry. read more

Man! Terrible service. We waited 20 minutes to be even asked for our drinks. Then we waited an hour and a half for two simple breakfast meals where one ended up being not fully cooked and the other being almost cold. They said they offered us a "discount" when really they just took the meal that wasn't fully cooked off. Just awful. This is a great diner to go to when you just don't know what you want. I am vegan and the rest of family isn't so it's nice that they will make it easy and substitute for me and not look irritated... the waitresses are friendly and the place is always clean. The only reason for the 4 out of 5 stars is because the restrooms are sometimes pretty lacking in toiletries and the sinks are sometimes wet and out of paper towels or the floors dirty etc. but, maybe management needs to hire a better custodian. I just want to give the cooks and waiters an A for always doing their best. read more

This is the ONLY 24 hour place to eat in town after everything else closes. I hate eating at this Denny's. I have a Huge family and when everyone's hungry, it's late, and we don't want to drive far, we have no choice but to come here. Too many times they have messed up on my food, and the last time I was there I didn't order food, just a glass of ice coffee which came out in a dirty glass. My sister had ordered a chicken sandwich, which was sent back because the chicken was bad. Like wth! Service sucks here and after the chicken incident, I'm scared to eat here. Clean restaurant (especially compared to other Denny's), friendly staff. A little slow at getting coffee, but I was really jonesing for it. At least they kept it coming and had the 'strong roast' as opposed to the 'weak brown water'. Took a while for the food to arrive despite not being busy, but it was good for a Denny's (well prepared and fresh, not greasy). Handled food substitutions and special requests just fine. Eh.. It's Denny's! Service is fast. Restaurant is clean. Staff seems genuinely caring about your dining experience. Those are things that get my family to come back to this chain over and over again. I have been to Denny's multiple times for a late night pick me up and even breakfast. Service is always slow and the waitresses don't seem to care at all. The food is not worth the crappy service either. I get sick after every time I eat here. I've gone so many times hoping each time will be better and still get the same horrible food and even worse service. Time to step up your game Denny's! I've even found a hair in my food before. Best Dennys I've ever been to. Food is very consistent and steaks came out perfect. Water tastes good too, very crisp and refreshing.

I've been going for the last five years and always liked one particular waitress Gabriela or Gabby. She is always very nice and has always had my food just how I like it (depending whether I stop eating a certain food for a while and am not eating it she does a good job) she is overall friendly and my whole family seems to like her and do plan on going many more times to Denny's read more
