Veggies Omelet loaded with veggies. Added bacon. Lol

Great food this morning cooked by Josh and served by Kathy. I haven't been to a Dennys for years. I will be back if the quality and service stays this good. Very clean, and a quality experience. A++

Moons Over My Hammy- cheese not melted.

I went to Denny's for my boyfriend's birthday. The host was very polite and helpful, got seated fairly quickly. Took about 10-15 mins to get our food. I ordered the All-American Slam. Ordered my egg fried, got it undercooked. They brought out everything except my toast. Waited 15 mins, had to ask for it because she forgot. My boyfriend ordered Moons Over My Hammy and the cheese wasn't melted. Both of our hash browns were undercooked. One of the waitresses, Deanne, handed one of her tables their drinks over handed. Her hands were touching the rim where you put your mouth to drink. Overall not coming to the Denny's in Oroville again. :)

Classic Benny Breakfast

Raw steak at Denny's

I ordered the steak because I thought maybe I would give it a try but once I got this I felt so disgusted. I mean it looks frozen and they don't give me a refund they made me pay for something I didn't eat. I wouldn't feed this to my worse enemy.

Fit Slam- runny eggs, didn't mention they were out of spinach.

Wait was long to get a table because no one was paying attention. Finally sat down and it took 20 minutes or longer just to ask for a drink. Another 30 minutes for food. Then they come out with this (photo). Didn't even mention they are out of spinach and it was soggy and runny.... nasty! And to top it off they forgot my Togo food I ordered. IHOP WOULD NEVER

Visited March 19 2026. See video and pics…read more I got here late to meet my girlfriend ( road construction). I just had a piece of toast as she was finishing her breakfast. DARN! We opted for 1 of these, and on our way to "the other" café, we spotted Jenn's which was on the list. After we arrived at the first place, it was new and in a little strip mall. It lookrd full of people. We doubted that we would get a Cafe breakfast. Off to Jenn's we go. It's a very tiny hole in the wall. We walked in and saw about 5 tables downstairs and 2 upstairs, and 3 or 4 counter seats. It is tiny! Luckily there were two open tables downstairs. A minute later the place filled up. We had a great waitress! She was quick to get our drinks and then took our order. The food arrived in a good time, not too long of a wait, maybe 15-20 minutes. The breakfast of choice was a 2-egg omelet with avocado and cheese, and 1 slice of French toast served with butter and cinnamon, and a cup of warm syrup. Yum, yum, yum The breakfast was very good! They included our coffee and iced tea in the breakfast . We will definitely go back!

Visited August 11th..see my receipt…read more I have only been here once in the last few years while in Oroville. I thought I would give it a try before heading out to Grass Valley. I am so glad we stopped in for breakfast! They are always busy for a reason...good portions and friendly service! I had the scrambled eggs with bacon (crispy) and potatoes along with marbled rye toast. Wow - huge portion! Everything was tasty and i am so glad they didn't use a bunch of butter or oil in their food! My friend has scrambled eggs with hash browns ( crispy) and biscuits snd gravy. Another large portion! Both dishes hit the spot for an early breakfast before I had to head out to Grass Valley. We had alot of leftovers and you can't beat the reasonable prices with the portions you are getting! They have indoor and outside seating. They sell pies as well (whole or by the slice). They also serve dinner. I did not see Alcohol on the menu. Thank you Carrie for excellent service! I will be back much sooner next time!

Partner had #3, biscuits and country gravy with over medium eggs and sausage patties. Biscuits were good. Sausage was good too. Gravy was from a dried mix, no fat, no meat, not great. I had chicken fried steak same as above. Chicken fried steak was obviously a frozen product. Too bad. Hash browns were reconstituted. Coffee was good. So this is on the same level as Dennys. Not great but gets you fed. It's really too bad because making food from scratch is actually less expensive for the restaurant and better for the guest

(I…read moreonce tried black bear diner and it was actually some of the worst and most disappointing American breakfast food I've ever had) The chicken fried steak is INCREDIBLE. The steak itself is so flavorful and juicy. The gravy is beautiful (an excellent roux, not clumpy, doesn't have too much flour, perfectly balanced in velvety decadence). Eggs over easy perfectly cooked two days in a row! And the side fruit was actually very fresh and good! The home fries were good but I personally preferred the hash browns. Crispy on the outside, good ratio so it's cooked properly throughout, not too oily. And the banana foster waffle???? this is America the Beautiful. I don't know how to describe how good and sweet but somehow not overpoweringly sweet this was (I'm someone with a deep sweet tooth for decadent, dense desserts, none of that "not too sweet" classic asian vibe). This waffle is like a doting grandparents' love of spoiling their grandchildren with treats you can only get in nostalgic dreams. It definitely doesn't need any of the additional butter/maple toppings that come with it. It's perfect the way it is. And a PERFECT sweet pairing to savory chicken fried steak breakfast if you can share with someone Service is super friendly, great! Everything very clean. Great playlists. The outside of the restaurant smells like casino but I didn't think the inside smelled like casino, which was nice.

As of late, I've become quite the fan of Applebee's, since they have or had, some super deals on…read moresome tasty food. The latest promotion was this Big Easy menu, sort of a take on Cajun Now Orleans themed food. My super fave dish, the Cajun sauced chicken with andouille sausage over penne pasta with a nice mix of green and red bell peppers and onion was my go to dish, priced at just $11.99. Now that I guess that promo had ended, the same dish is now $18.00! Gezees that's a big ass price hike. Not worth $18 in my book! Some of the other items on the former menu didn't go up, but were kinda pricey already, like the sizzling shrimp and chicken with mashed potatoes at around $18.50. It's still the same price. All I can say is the saving grace is the Really Big Meal Deal is still available, though, not listed on the table menu. You have to ask for it. I got that $9.99 deal with the big bacon cheeseburger and endless fries along with a refillable drink. That's a deal compared to the rest of the menu. My friend had a new dish called the Tex Mex bowl with shrimp and chicken. That was around $15.50 ... not super bargain, but I guess those are all gone these days. My friend actually like that dish a lot. My burger was fantastic as usual, lots of bacon and cheese and a decent sized patty. I even got some fries extra to go. Refilled my drink too. Applebee's is not quite the super bargain deal it once was, but at least they still have the 1/2 off happy hour appetizers from 3pm - 6pm everyday, not just weekdays!

Ginger at the Oroville Applebee's deserves her own fan club…read more In a world where good service feels rare, Ginger delivered the kind of experience that turns a casual stop into the highlight of your night. She was fast, friendly, hilarious, and somehow managed to make the whole bar feel like the place to be. She didn't just make drinks--she created a vibe. Every cocktail came out perfect, every recommendation hit, and she handled everything with the kind of confidence and warmth that you cannot fake. What stood out most was how effortless she made it all look. Busy bar? No problem. Multiple guests needing attention? She was on it. She made everyone feel seen, welcomed, and taken care of. That level of professionalism mixed with genuine personality is rare, and Ginger has it in spades. Honestly, Applebee's is lucky to have her. If you're in Oroville and want great drinks, great energy, and service that actually makes you want to come back, sit at Ginger's bar. She's not just a bartender--she's the reason people become regulars. 10/10. Ask for Ginger.

The interior was clean--nothing fancy, but exactly what you'd expect from a good burger joint. I ordered a half pound burger with cheese and fixings, and when the food arrived, I was stunned. The burger was gorgeous, and the amount of French fries they gave me was generous. It felt like two to three whole potatoes' worth, and they weren't soggy or drenched in oil--they were perfectly cooked and delicious. The overall taste was fantastic.
