We've had a busy month and decided Thanksgiving dinner should be at Denny's, as we didn't plan ahead for anything else. We got there around 7 pm and found it moderately busy. We were seated immediately in a 2-person booth and asked if we could move to a 4-person booth for more space, which they agreed to. (Later, several police officers came in took the booth we had along with a few other booths). They weren't super-fast, but we weren't in a hurry. It looked like they were busier than they expected. I ordered the traditional turkey dinner. My dinner partner wanted Spaghetti. Both were as expected for Denny's, which I can honestly say is pretty decent food. We thought about getting dessert, but we were too full. Our server (Sun? Son? Sorry, I can't remember exactly) was amazing! She was super friendly. She was working hard, and we appreciated her positive energy.

Denny's has been around for years, serving good breakfasts and a decent price. This location is one of my favorites. There is ample parking and the restaurant is updated and clean. As you stroll into the restaurant, the many tables and booths looked very nice; not worn and no tears or holes in the cushions. It just feels warm and family oriented. On this particular occasion it was my birthday, so I ordered the Grand Slam Value Meal consisting of my choice of eggs, french toast and bacon. The server was very nice and friendly, and explained my available choices for the Grand Slam. While we waited for our breakfast to arrive, my coffee was topped up several times and in a short amount of time, we received our meals. The food was warm and cooked to perfection. Everything was delicious and I especially like Denny's coffee! Denny's was a perfect way to start off my birthday morning.

I told you garden salad with fried fish platter

On April 17th, I received a takeout order from Denny's at 1695 E Lincoln Ave, Orange, CA 92865, United States. However, they sent a missing item, so I tried to call them. The number on the receipt was disconnected, so I struggled to find it and ended up calling via Yelp--I must have tried about 50 times. I finally managed to get through, but when I explained that I had ordered delivery and they had left out the salad, they said they were busy and told me to come pick it up myself. When I asked why I had to go when I had already paid the full cost for the takeout, they just hung up, saying they were busy with a large group and would call me back later. Why do I have to be treated like this when I paid for it? They call me now (pm 8:56) and he told me he can't find any salad in his receipt Why?

I haven't been to a Denny's in a long time due to bad experiences I noticed in recent years the service dropped off the quality dropped off so I just stopped showing up but the other day I was near a Denny's and I said you know what let's give him a try again and I'm glad I did the location was perfect I said if the counter I was immediately greeted she brought my coffee over quickly I ordered my favorite Denny's item which of course is Moon's over hammy this is where the problem starts back before I stopped showing up I'd order this it was really upset a few times for what it cost now 16, 17 dollars there should be no upcharge if you just changing the side to something equal I don't do fries too much so I ordered the fruit as a substitute that fruit was an additional $3 it's not like I'm saying give me price and another order of fruit I had that substitute for the price so that brings your total to over $20 that's a bit much but I wasn't impressed with the moon's over how many it looked like the old days stuffed with ham and cheese and eggs back before man they were putting like one little thin slice of ham hardly any cheese the egg was minimal so they definitely did that right

Lumberjack slam with bacon instead of ham.

Ok, here we go. Let me start with a confession: I hate…read morediners. I hate them with the fiery rage of ten thousand suns. In my experience, diner food is usually tired, dry, uninspired, and about as exciting as eating an anvil. So believe me when I tell you that is not this place. Surrounded by newer, shinier restaurants near CHOC, Victory Diner has some miles on it. Frankly, it's easy to overlook, and I nearly did. What a mistake that would've been. The burgers are good, the fries are good, and the food is gloriously unapologetic comfort food. Imagine you're a parent at CHOC. It's 2 a.m., you're exhausted, worried sick about your child, and you just need to escape the hospital long enough to get your head screwed on straight. You don't need gourmet cuisine. You need something warm, satisfying, and familiar. Victory Diner delivers a hug from Mom on a plate. It's not fancy, and it's not trying to be. It's simply comfort when life is kicking your ass. And sometimes, that's worth more than the fanciest meal in town. Don't let the appearance fool you. You'd be missing something special by passing this place up.

It's in the plaza of other great spots too, but i like how this "diner" has a drive thru for convenience. I've tried a few of their breakfast items and the chili cheese fries and everything was good! The best chicken-fried steak I've had outside of my nephew's home-cooked version!…read more Whenever I go to a restaurant, I'm always going to try the chicken-fried steak if it's on the menu, and Arthur's did not disappoint. In fact, if this one isn't handmade, I'd be shocked! It was so similar to my nephew's that I might have had trouble telling the difference. I've honestly been thinking about that chicken-fried steak ever since I had it. My husband ordered an omelet, and he said it was delicious as well. We both had leftovers for the next day--but there was definitely no chicken-fried steak left over! The ambiance was cozy, country-style, and very clean. The service was exceptional, too. It's not exactly close to my house, but I will definitely be making the trip back soon for that chicken-fried steak!

Service was wonderful, ambience was okay, food not so good. Outside reminds me of Knotts…read more We really wanted to like Arthur's Family Restaurant. We gave them three tries, but unfortunately, they just couldn't meet our expectations. Our order was wrong twice, and something just isn't right with the gravy or the Hollandaise sauce on the Benedict. And my advice: skip the steak breakfast--you'll thank me later. But the final straw was the pancake. Seriously, how do you mess up a pancake? One side was cooked, while the other was practically raw. Three visits gave us a pretty fair chance to see what Arthur's could do. We tried, but it's time for us to move on and explore some other breakfast places.

As we walked over the train tracks, my husband said look "Streamliner Lounge, looks like a diner. Wanna check it out?" Naturally I headed to yelp to see how it ranked. The food looked good and the interior looked like you were stepping back in time. We decided to give it a chance and ended up in a very quiet, classic looking diner for a fun little lunch date! He ordered the Tijuana street dog which is bacon wrapped, loaded with bell peppers and onions, and topped off with a jalapeño crema that he could not stop talking about. He very much enjoyed it! It was served with fries that were hot and crispy! I order the club sandwich with sweet potato fries. The sandwich was way bigger than we both expected, we joked we could have shared one meal. Everything on the sandwich was fresh, and the fries were perfect! We were offered ranch and that was also delicious! Staff were so friendly and attentive and our food arrived so quickly!
