Very disappointing service. Our server, Patricia, never introduced herself, and I only found out her name from the receipt. She got both of my parents' orders wrong and did not apologize or even acknowledge the mistakes. Her attitude throughout the entire visit was rude and dismissive. She seemed irritated whenever we asked for anything, and handled the plates, napkins, and other items very abruptly, at times practically tossing them onto the table. We eventually started asking other servers for assistance because we did not feel comfortable asking Patricia. What makes this more disappointing is that Patricia was also our server a couple of weeks ago, and we initially thought maybe she was simply having a bad day. After having another similar experience, however, it seems this may be an ongoing issue with her service. We did speak with the manager, who was very kind and professional. read more

Real talk... when did Denny's become super good?? I had breakfast here with my 4 year old and both of our breakfasts were super yummy. We were seated right away and the service was prompt and friendly. I had the "fit slam" which was an egg white scramble (spinach and tomatoes), turkey bacon, English muffin and a bowl of fruit. My daughter had the kids pancakes, scrambled eggs and sausage. I added a side of avocado for us to share and not only was it plenty of food but we took home most of hers. A standout was the bowl of fruit that came with my order and I would've taken a pick but my daughter stole it and ate it all! I was a huge bowl of fruit with strawberries, banana slices and grapes. All of it tasted fresh and was nice and sweet. A really yummy addition to a healthy meal. read more

CONNIE IS THE BEST SERVERS EVERR!!! Will come back again with my family this time. Other dennys dont have good service like them!

We've had a busy month and decided Thanksgiving dinner should be at Denny's, as we didn't plan ahead for anything else. We got there around 7 pm and found it moderately busy. We were seated immediately in a 2-person booth and asked if we could move to a 4-person booth for more space, which they agreed to. (Later, several police officers came in took the booth we had along with a few other booths). They weren't super-fast, but we weren't in a hurry. It looked like they were busier than they expected. I ordered the traditional turkey dinner. My dinner partner wanted Spaghetti. Both were as expected for Denny's, which I can honestly say is pretty decent food. We thought about getting dessert, but we were too full. Our server (Sun? Son? Sorry, I can't remember exactly) was amazing! She was super friendly. She was working hard, and we appreciated her positive energy. read more

Denny's has been around for years, serving good breakfasts and a decent price. This location is one of my favorites. There is ample parking and the restaurant is updated and clean. As you stroll into the restaurant, the many tables and booths looked very nice; not worn and no tears or holes in the cushions. It just feels warm and family oriented. On this particular occasion it was my birthday, so I ordered the Grand Slam Value Meal consisting of my choice of eggs, french toast and bacon. The server was very nice and friendly, and explained my available choices for the Grand Slam. While we waited for our breakfast to arrive, my coffee was topped up several times and in a short amount of time, we received our meals. The food was warm and cooked to perfection. Everything was delicious and I especially like Denny's coffee! Denny's was a perfect way to start off my birthday morning. read more

As a former server, I completely understand how overwhelming a rush can be, especially at a breakfast establishment. However, our experience with our server, Patricia, was disappointing from the beginning. From the moment we were seated, her demeanor toward our table felt somewhat off-putting. We asked about getting a milkshake, and her response came across as if we were inconveniencing her. While I understand that restaurants can get extremely busy, I believe there is still a way to communicate with customers respectfully. What was most upsetting, however, was an issue with one of our meals. One of the plates had eggs that appeared very undercooked and almost raw. We politely asked Patricia if the eggs were supposed to look that way because we were concerned about the appearance. Instead of addressing our concern or offering to have them remade, she responded along the lines of, "That's how the eggs are," and walked away with an attitude. She did not check back on our table afterward, which left us feeling dismissed. Additionally, we were told that Shirley Temples were not being served at the time. Later, we saw Patricia provide Shirley Temples to other customers, which was confusing and frustrating. I completely understand that servers have difficult shifts and that things can get hectic during a rush. As someone who has worked in the industry myself, I try to be understanding of that. However, the combination of the dismissive attitude, the lack of concern regarding the undercooked eggs, and the inconsistent information about the drinks made our experience particularly disappointing. We weren't expecting perfection, but we did expect our concerns to be acknowledged and addressed respectfully. read more

On April 17th, I received a takeout order from Denny's at 1695 E Lincoln Ave, Orange, CA 92865, United States. However, they sent a missing item, so I tried to call them. The number on the receipt was disconnected, so I struggled to find it and ended up calling via Yelp--I must have tried about 50 times. I finally managed to get through, but when I explained that I had ordered delivery and they had left out the salad, they said they were busy and told me to come pick it up myself. When I asked why I had to go when I had already paid the full cost for the takeout, they just hung up, saying they were busy with a large group and would call me back later. Why do I have to be treated like this when I paid for it? They call me now (pm 8:56) and he told me he can't find any salad in his receipt Why? read more

I haven't been to a Denny's in a long time due to bad experiences I noticed in recent years the service dropped off the quality dropped off so I just stopped showing up but the other day I was near a Denny's and I said you know what let's give him a try again and I'm glad I did the location was perfect I said if the counter I was immediately greeted she brought my coffee over quickly I ordered my favorite Denny's item which of course is Moon's over hammy this is where the problem starts back before I stopped showing up I'd order this it was really upset a few times for what it cost now 16, 17 dollars there should be no upcharge if you just changing the side to something equal I don't do fries too much so I ordered the fruit as a substitute that fruit was an additional $3 it's not like I'm saying give me price and another order of fruit I had that substitute for the price so that brings your total to over $20 that's a bit much but I wasn't impressed with the moon's over how many it looked like the old days stuffed with ham and cheese and eggs back before man they were putting like one little thin slice of ham hardly any cheese the egg was minimal so they definitely did that right read more

Monday 7/20 the restaurant was poorly staffed. We waited to be seated and were told to pick a table. We had to get our own menus as no one came to serve us. Someone finally came to take a drink order and we ordered meals at the same time. When the coffees arrived they had already spilled and cups were wet on the outside. The food arrived later and the was no silverware or napkins on the table. Worst dining experience ever. I have frequented this location over the years and it has never been like this. There are no excuses. The restaurant was not busy. I came home that night and sent a corporate email to which there has not been a reply. read more

While the server missed the English muffin I ordered at first, he returned to confirm just after taking my order, but I had forgotten it too. So, I ended up with 2 slices of sourdough, which was a bit too much. But it's was alright with the extra bread I didn't originally ordered along with the eggs, hash browns, and seasonal fruit. The bathroom sink was clogged. But the worst part of this visit was my $5 free gift card didn't have a balance at all, they said. It was part of the promotion before thanksgiving did I buy it to get that extra $5 I never had received anyway. The manager appeared indifferent, saying that it's what it says in the system. You can call the customer service and they will say the same thing, blah, blah...it's not her problem kinda attitude... Now, this promotion last year and the year before it were pretty much a sham...you just don't get the extra $5 you'd thought you be getting for buying the $25 gift card. It's not that I lost money, but the truth-in advertising just wasn't there... Over the 2 years of buying $50 worth in gift cards, the $10 worth of free gift cards, as part of the holiday promotion were non-existent, really... read more

If I could give no stars I would. The guy in charge was Overwhelmed. The restaurant wasn't even full. I sat myself down at the bar. What happened to the other guy that was here. He was super attentive and made sure you were good the whole time you were here. He was super attentive and always made sure you had everything you needed. This guy is running around like a headless chicken. The coffee was lukewarm too. What's going on here. The quality has gone down in the last few weeks. I've been coming here for years. I just want to say I placed an order with the Denny's App for delivery. Bad idea. I immediately got a text message stating that my order was received at 9:51am. I then received a tracker updating on the progress of my order. That's fine. It estimated that my order would arrive at my house around 10:22am. I then started getting text messages from DoorDash that the driver was running a little bit late. The tracker said the order would now arrive at 10:49am. Around 11:00am I checked the app to make contact with the driver. He did not speak English but luckily I spoke Spanish. He said it wasn't his fault. That he barely got the order and he had just arrived to the restaurant. I called the actual manager to see if I could a discount since my food was going to be old and cold. The Denny's manager stated that it wasn't her fault either and that I needed to contact DoorDash. She yelled at me over the phone " What do you want me to do?" " I have a lot of customers waiting for me!" I told her I wanted a refund. She did not help me. I ended up googling a costumer service number for DoorDash. I spoke to someone at DoorDash and I was told they were giving me a refund. But the catch was, the money has to go back to Denny's and then Denny's has to refund me. Well of course Denny's costumer service is closed on the weekends. Overall, this was a horrible experience. So I'm out $22...I have to fight Denny's for my money or put in a fraud complaint with my bank. Don't go to Denny's. They don't care about their customers especially this location. I believe the manager's name is Betty. read more

Went yesterday and my food had a hair in it... Not only that but what I ordered stated it came with "eggs your way" so I asked for scrambled eggs with cheese and the server didn't even have the courtesy to state it would be about $2.60 extra even though the plate already came with eggs! Honestly if I can leave more than 5 stars, I would! I left Denny's like maybe 40 minutes ago and this has been one of the best service I have gotten from any Denny's in a while. Would like to give som recognition to the night shift server Laura. My wife and I came in late after a blues concert had finished. She was really kind, caring, understanding and attentive. She had a very welcoming and open personality. It made it a good environment for both my wife and I to leisurely open up. It made the dining experience so much enjoyable when we are all smiling and laughing about everyday things.
