    The worst customer service I've experienced at a Denny's with the longest waiting time to get a table. Not only did it take forever to get a table to be seated (there was nobody to even assist for a long time, the restaurant was NOT full), but service was extremely poor and slow. I had to call the waiter over for them to come. Food took a long time to come as well and quality of food wasn't great. When it was time for the bill, no communication or whatsoever from the server. Had to call them over and again, experienced poor service. Their excuse for the lack of organization and professionalism in store was because they're changing shifts so that's why it's a mess. That shouldn't be an excuse to over 10 guests who are waiting more than twenty minutes to be seated without any explanation or clarification. Staff just disappeared.

    I have been in this neighbourhood a number of times and kept driving past this Denny's restaurant, famous throughout the USA but few and far between in Canada. Well, today was the day for a casual dining experience at a location open 24-hours! With my parents in tow. Lucky for me I received an email alert about Denny's Super Slam breakfast for $9.99; two pancakes, two eggs, two strips of bacon, two sausage links and hash browns. Pair this meal with a bottomless cup of coffee and it was a match made in heaven. Mary, our server was super busy but was definitely up to the challenge of providing us great service.

    This place is located Dixie road and Matheson below a hotel. Getting into this place can be confusing on the GPS and the parking can be tough if the hotel got over booked. As we walked into this outlet we were greeted by a waiter that we could get seated but may have to wait for a minimum of 30 minutes before he could come to us for taking the order. We were surprised to see that 90% of the tables in the outlet was empty. Definitely we were taken aback hearing that. This franchise is CLEARLY understaffed as there was only one waiter on ground on a day when they had a promotion going. But other than the initial greeting the waiter was good at taking orders from us. We went in as a group of 6 so we ordered a lot of food like Pancakes, Chicken Skillets, shakes and omelets. The taste of the food was as expected from Denny's but the items were not served at the right temperature. The inside of the outlet was maintained ok. The price of the items were standard just that we were billed for an additional coffee which we were never served. When Asked about it, the waiter made the coffee to-go and gave it to us. In short this franchise can be MISS unless there are no other Denny's next to your place.

    Very well kept restaurant. Clean, tidy, and professional service. Located at the bottom of the hotel for anyone who may miss it while driving by.

    ***Note: This location is poorly mismanaged. It was understaffed on a day where they were running a promo and this doesn't look good on the business' behalf.*** Sadly, the reviews are true. The service is really poor here. Not sure if she just started her shift/whatnot, but I was greeted by a girl with green hair who was behind the hostess desk with her puffer on. As soon as I came through the door, she told me to have a seat and muttered something. She never came back. Not sure why she didn't seat me personally, as it seemed as tho the restaurant was pretty empty. Anyway, another Indian female server didn't show up 'til a good 10mins later and she actually proceeded to seat another couple who arrived AFTER I did. I actually felt bad for the server 'cause she stated that she was the ONLY person scheduled for the whole dining room...during a promo. She looked stressed and no one should be working under those circumstances! There is absolutely ZERO excuses, especially when management should know that there's a special event going on. Coffee was too bitter/acidic! I asked for milk, but I honestly couldn't get to the bottom of the cup. Not sure if it was fresh or not, but it was hot. It just didn't taste good esp without strong dairy to mask the taste. As for the Beyond Meat Burger, they don't really know how to do protein style properly. Lettuce and red onion was wilted. There wasn't any sauce as per menu. Tasted fine, but no pride in presentation.

    Denny's is located at the north west corner of Matheson and Dixie as part of the Sandman hotel. I've often noticed that Sandmans have Denny's and/or Chop Steakhouses and this place is no different. I do stay at Sandman hotels from time to time whether in Winnipeg or Richmond, BC and sometimes I do go to Denny's in other cities. When I say other cities I mean other cities in Canada. Rarely will I go to a Denny's in the US because there are many other options to have great breakfasts in the US so really my only Denny's comparisons will be made with other Denny's in Canada. Sadly this Denny's in Mississauga is probably the worst I've been to besides perhaps the one at Courtney Park and Hurontario. These Mississauga Denny's are far as I'm concerned are not on par with say the Denny's in either Headingley or Winnipeg, Manitoba. Both of those locations do their country fried steak better whether it be by portion size, quality or simply all around experience. This Matheson location I had to get up and ask for hot sauce. I never had my coffee filled unless I asked for it. Water was not offered unless we asked. There was no check up to see if everything was ok. If there was I wouldn't have had to get up to ask for hot sauce. I had neglected to order a side of sausage but since we never saw our server again until our plates were served I had asked for it then thinking that it wouldn't take very long. Well I waited and waited and eventually I gave up and they were never given. Thankfully they weren't on the bill. A couple sitting near us that came after us were served before us and left before us. The server serving us I feel didn't give us the attention we should have had. Again, not comparing to the breakfast places but if I did bring up places like Snooze, IHOP, Cracker Barrel, I can safely say service here wasn't good. The food here, not as good as other Denny's locations as I had mentioned locations in Manitoba which I've reviewed before. My wife had ordered the Super Bird and when I had asked for sourdough I was told they were out. If that's the case what kind of bread was her Super bird served with? This location just basically affirms my previous position that the Denny's in both Mississauga locations I know (Courtney Park and this Dixie location) are quite lacking if not in the service, definitely in the standard for their simple dish of country fried steak. The portion here is barely the size of a quarter pound burger. The Manitoba locations are much more generous. I could tell because I went back to look at my Denny's reviews there and the photos are telling. To sum it up Denny's in Mississauga are sad representations of a chain that should have better standards control.

    Dropped in for a late dinner on Tuesday. Everything took a long ass time, from ordering the food to receiving it. Restaurant wasn't even busy. Our server was nice but clearly they were understaffed in the restaurant and there was only one chef. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak omelette which was yummy, it was very cheesy and had lots of steak and veggies. Hash browns were delicious. The servers bracelet touched some of my hash browns when she reached over - not happy about that. It wasn't her fault but she shouldn't wear jewelry at work if it's going to get in people's food. Everything took a long ass time except for her bringing the bill.

    Oh man... where to start.. I got greeted by a nice young lady the minute I walked into the restaurant as she was taking me to my table to be seated I noticed the "booth" she was about to place me in had alot of food crumbs on both seats, I asked her to please wipe the seats because its dirty and without hesitation she did- thank you. My opinion the seats should've been cleaned before taking the customer to be seated there... it was awkward just standing by the table waiting for her to go grab a spray bottle and the cloth and then wait/watch her clean it! I already knew what I wanted to order within the 5 minutes I have been seated- waiting...waiting...waiting...no waitress no waitre about 20minutes go by and we finally get noticed WOW thanks for asking if I wanted to order now? I was ready to order 20minutes ago anyhow yes some coffee please and i placed my order-coffee comes burnt "bottom of the pot coffee" why thank you! Please get me coffee that isnt burnt. Order took foreverrrrrr to come here's how long about 40minutes!! On top of the 20minutes oh man I spent most of my morning sitting and waiting to eat. Thanks for wasting my time-food was blah the coffee was burnt service is super slow.

    Understaff. The only employee working was under a lot of stress. There was three additional employee that were walking around like there was no work to do. We waited over an hour to get served. Few people came after we did and they got their food first .

    Wifi Password: dencan1755 Good hearty food. Cant go wrong with a franchise. Ya inside the hotel so look for the hotel. Fairly new ans close to the airport so if you're looking to kill time before your flight and don't want to eat inside the airport you should come here. Hotel parking is free and available for Dennys guests too.

    Firstly I totally get that it's Jan 1st so it's obviously going to be busy, we called in and were told there's a 10 min wait. Good job on front staff providing the right expectation on seating wait time. Once we were here the front of house told us it would take 30 mins for the food to come out, which is a decent time to wait for 4 breakfast items. So we ordered French toast with eggs, a Philly cheesesteak, a choconana pancake and an omelet. Its now been 1.5 hours and we are still waiting for our breakfast, these are all items that are made with pre-made batter in which the cooking only requires a scoop of batter into a pan and cook it for 3mins. Eggs are even faster. We're then told at the 1.5 hr mark that there are 30 orders ahead of ours. However 4 tables who ordered 5 mins before us had their food 1 hour earlier. One piece of advice for this Denny's location: when you know your kitchen is behind on orders then have the front desk give the menu to ppl waiting so they have a head start. Also communication between the kitchen and front desk would help the front desk set the correct food wait time expectations Also have your servers understand how to 'reset' time by stopping by the table and letting us know the status once 30 mins have passed 'hi guys just wanted to let you know your food is being worked on'. The manager did come by to apologize and we were told we could stay if we 'want' to. Technically I no longer 'want' to stay but I've invested too much of my time on our only day off at this place waiting for breakfast. Food was good.

    Well, let's see. WiFi doesn't work. At all. The restaurant was freezing cold. They got rid of my, and all customer's favorite sandwich, the grand slamwich. So a very bad start indeed. I ordered a bacon cheddar avocado burger. And bacon tater tots. Barely lukewarm. Seriously there's something wrong with the grill. Burger had a strange taste, not right. Something seriously not ok with the grill. Ordered dulce de leche pancakes with eggs. Very good, except for the hashbrowns, half cold and terrible taste, just like the burger. Seriously fix or replace the grill. Don't know if I'm coming back!

    I've always liked Denny's. Food here was good. I tried something on their new menu and my chicken was juicy! 3.5 for slow service. Didn't seem that busy and it took us quite a while for us to get food but we would still come back again since we're around the area a lot.

I can not remember our waitress name she was very friendly and kind. The service over all was really good. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely be back.
