5 stars for our server Luis 5/18/2019 @11:30 am on Saturday.. Luis were friendly, he apologized for the long wait, we didn't mind knowing it's not anything he can do. Clearly we see the restaurant were busy. Luis right away followed with our drinks/ food order . He made sure the kids had their food first. He was attentive with my husband's Coffee and son's tea refills. With out asking Luis brought over some hot sauce to our table. 3 stars for the food ...... I had the wild western omelette, the eggs were dry and over cooked, I should asked for a different type of cheese , the cheese I believe tasted like a velveeta type cheese. I think the omelette overall were too salty for my taste. My sourdough sliced bread were not toasted or it's very lightly warmed under a heat lamp? Didn't care for it . My son had the chicken fried steak/ 2 eggs breakfast. He said his fried steak were salty , his sliced sourdough bread were not toasted. My other kids were not crazy about their food either, one said her burger tasted like "the kind we microwave at home". Another child didn't like her tenders, thought it's too salty and dry. This was the worst service I've ever had. If you come and a server named Norma come to your table might as well go home and cook yourself she won't show up to refill drinks, to bring you things you asked for or even come by the table. She came 3 times take order, drop off food and check that's it. No how are things no refill on coffee and on top of that she didn't even put our order in the system till half an hour later. read more

The hours are a lie! This place is NOT 24hrs!!!! I've come 3 different times once a week for 3 weeks in a row because I'm a truck driver so there's times where I pass through the area back and forth. All 3 times have been around midnight and all lights are on inside and outside with the staff sitting there and all 3 times they looked at me and just turned away.... Fix the hours if you're not planning on opening 24hrs... truckers spend a lot of money on food... and we eat all hours of the night and day! Just saying.... read more

Yes it's true--I am giving a 5-star review to a Denny's restaurant! This is a brand-new restaurant, which is adjacent to the Best Western Liberty Inn. If you are staying at that hotel you can just walk right over. This restaurant is actually quite large inside with a large amount of tables as well as 6 seats at the counter and two chairs for handicapped patrons. And if it's warm outside, you can use the outside patio seating! There is also a room in the back, which perhaps can be used for groups such as Rotary Club meetings. To my pleasant surprise they have three or four different types of beer here including one of my favorite 805! They also have Bud Lite, Modelo Especial, and Coors. I got my mail off to a good start by ordering the 805. I ordered the salmon dinner, which comes with two sides. My wife ordered the special pumpkin breakfast pancakes. The salmon dinner does not look especially appealing, but don't be fooled. The salmon was incredibly juicy and tasty. The two sides were okay, but it was the salmon that was really outstanding. My wife tells me that the pumpkin spice pancakes were also excellent. One thing I noticed is how hard the employees are working here. I think the manager, April, is keeping them on their toes! She is doing a good job at keeping the dining room clean and giving the customers great service. This is the only Denny's I have seen that actually has an outdoor patio. Of course, in the winter at this time, no one is using it, but I could imagine how nice it would be in the summer. So overall, a really good experience. I am so glad to see that new Denny's are sprouting up all over the place. Special shout-out to our server, Marquel, who was incredibly friendly and helpful. I think he checked on us a million times! Had the everyday value breakfast here. Atmosphere: clean and decorative with winter holiday flair. Not much I'll n the availability of charging ports. 5 Price: Depending on your order you really get what you pay for. Industry prices. 4 Value: the everyday slam used to come with hash browns, now it doesn't. Still the pancakes were filling enough without them and I got 700+ calories. 3 Service: They took too long to get our order up. I forgot to time but it felt like 20 minutes. Staff: Polite. 5 Quality: the pancakes were right. They serve their bacon greasy. Eggs were the way I like them. This Location is by far the best Denny's I've been to. The dining area is open and airy with updated decor. The staff was friendly and tentative. Our orders all arrived quickly and were prepared correctly. It really look like the cooks took time and care in preparation of our meals. It's easy access off the I5 just south of the I5/99 interchange. They have ample parking and spotless restrooms (which is always nice after a long drive). I definitely would choose to dine here again on my next road trip to Southern California. read more

We were approached as we were getting off our truck by manager Bre saying we could not park in the parking lot at 7am bc we were pulling a trailer which required we took 5 space we were parked in the back of the restaurant. There were at least 20-25 open spaces. Manager insisted we parked at the next business parking lot. I asked do you really think you will get busy at this time and manager replied maybe. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I got here at 555am and despite everywhere online saying they are open 24hr they do not open till 6am. I went in at 6am and was told it would be a few minutes because the cook was still getting set up. I ordered my tbone and eggs and hash the has was burnt the tbone was over cooked also. I asked for it to be redone and waited another 15 min for a med rare tbone. They send the same exact stake out. I asked if the cook was new so I could maybe be a bit understanding and was told no he is the oldest cook they have. I asked for my stake to be properly cooked and waited another 15 min for it to come out rare and with cold eggs and cold burnt hash. This place really sucks read more

This is the second time we've been to this Denny's on our way to/from LA. It's a nice Denny's, the food is good and our server, Denise, was a sweetie who did her job well with a smile on her face. The one problem we had was it took half an hour for our food to arrive after ordering. That's a long time to wait for a meal when you're hungry and need to get back on the road. Sure, we'd eat here again, the crinkle fries are wonderful, as are the burgers. But I hope someone works on the timing. read more

The waitress was fabulous she treated us like friends both times we were there second time the restaurant was very busy but still she took time to check on us she even told us about the discount as we were staying at the local hotel we had the lasagna it was so good different than usual lasagna had one lasagna on the bottom stuffed with I think mushroom, onions, meat and cheese then covered with a lasagna noodle then topped with Italian sausage and more cheese and baked. we had it even the second time we came through and its very much walkable to it from the Best Western read more

Very good, start to finish! Julia was our servicer and did great! She was friendly, attentive, made suggestions and got our order right....even checked in on us periodically. I ordered the smaller cheeseburger on the value menu and it came with all the same things as the double, just a smaller version, which was plenty and America cheese, which you can't switch up bc it's as is. It was still really good and made fresh with nice tomato slices, lettuce, onion and pickles and plenty of fries, freshly cooked. I also ordered the garden salad, which was good too. Nice looking lettuce, grape tomatoes, cucumbers, cheese and croutons. Hubby ordered the mile high Denver omelette with hash browns and a biscuit w/ add gravy. Everything was cooked fresh and cooked perfectly. Terrible terrible terrible! I asked for outdoor seating because we had our dog and I didn't want to leave him in the car in 100° weather. We waited 20 minutes to have our drinks order taken... we waited another 15 for them to be brought out and have our food order taken and it took 35 minutes to have our food brought out to us. My mom's hash browns had a cooked bug in them. When I told the waiter about it he asked if I was sure that it hadn't just landed on it.?! He asked what we wanted to do?!?!? WTF do you mean what do we want to do? I told him if we could get new food for her. He only brought out some hash browns, he didn't even get her a whole new meal. I didn't even eat. After driving all night I stopped for breakfast at the Denny's on MacArthur Rd in Arvin. I should've kept going! DO NOT EAT HERE!! I was presented with the most disgusting "western omelet" I had ever seen and that's after spending 5 years in the Marine Corps during the 70s. I wanted a Denver Omelet; they didn't have one. So they offered the western omelet which is the damn same thing but with peppers and jalapeño and it costs more. So, tired from the drive I said, "fine" and waited. Except nothing was fine. The only ingredient I recognized was the burnt ham and a semi melted slice of Swiss cheese. O-h. M-y. G-o-s-h! I don't care how tired or hungry you are, keep going!! read more

We came at 9:30pm waitress informed us even though the state is reopened they aren't accepting dine in only take out because they close at 10pm. We let them know we came specifically because their website said midnight and we were celebrating (drove 40 miles just to eat there). Okay sit back and let me tell you how my breakfast experience was. They were packed but we were seated pretty quickly. We got drinks and ordered fairly fast as well. I noticed the waitress telling the surrounding tables that she was waiting on their toast...just waiting on your toast....many tables. She brings us part of our food along with the toast I ordered. Nope I wasn't waiting for toast, you were. She also brought a plate of bacon which we didn't order. She finally brings the rest of our food along with another plate of, you guessed it, toast that we did not order. That toast you're waiting on, welp I ate it. My family and I decided to go to Denny's, given that ihop was more at the entrance of this specific area. Went in and the girl with blue hair immediately greeted us and sat us. She was very polite and was able to take our order quickly, given that was really slow. There was a group of men that were being attended by a girl with short hair with blonde, or so I thought. The manager came out and then went back to doing whatever she was doing; was never seen for the rest of our time there. These three men had a bit to drink, and EVERYONE in the restaurant knew it. I had noticed other tables also given them looks, the girl with blonde stayed there to chat with them, later on I found out she was on a break. Idk if this is just where I work, but when someone's on a break they can't be behind the counter because guest don't know if she's working or not, but the manager saw and said nothing. The girl in blue kept making her rounds to ALL the tables, explaining to them that the food was taking a bit longer than usual. My family of 3 adults and 2 kids waited over an hour and a half for food, but the entire time we were there the blonde girl didn't help greet people, buss tables, just stood there talking and flirting with the three loud drunk men. read more

Great place to stop for food on your roadtrip travel. Denny's is definitely open during Shelter In Place with hand sanitizer available. So please make sure you wear your mask. They have both outdoor dining and take out. I ordered take out by phone and both ladies I talked to were friendly. We ordered the beyond veggie burger with seasonal fries and the other order with wavy fries. They forgot my drink so I had to go back after dropping off the food to the car on pick up. Unfortunately we were so hungry on our travel that no pictures are available. The burger was just as good from bun to beyond veggie patty. The fixings of lettuce tomatoes pickles add on avocado was as expected. The seasoned fries were perfectly seasoned with great flavor to compliment my veggie burger. The wavy fries were just right for the rest of the family. The strawberry lemonade definitely perked me up for the rest of the drive. This food for fuel gave me just the right energy to get us to our destination safely. read more

The server had a little problem understanding me at first (I wanted changes) I had a Patty Melt, they use Potato Bread instead of Rye, I substituted White Cheddar for my second cheese (includes Monterey Jack), I also substituted grilled veggies for fries, everything was fresh cooked and mouth wateringly yummy. Well the staff did their best. I had a rough time locating our server but, it can be forgiven with limited capacity. I am guessing this location just do not get much restocking. Kids wanted broccoli but, they ran out. I ordered biscuits and gravy with sausage but, they ran out of sausage. Final annoyance, Cobb salad did not have the hard boiled egg on top. Two kids meals were spaghetti but, very little sauce and the noddles were wet. So kind of flavorless and they added extra salt and parmesan cheese. This place is disgusting!!!!!!!! The restaurant is filthy. The associates stand around doing nothing. When customers leave the food is left on the table for a while. There were not many customers just us and a few more. The floors are dirty, but the worst was the restrooms. There is no air ventilation at all. Very hot and the smell was unbearable. My friend told me the mens was the same. I mentioned this to the young manager. She said I'm sorry I will clean them now. That place should be spotless. Tables should be cleaned and the floors should be mopped. What I would like to know is how is this place graded an A ?????? Less standing around and get to work. Bad management. read more
