My husband and I were on our way to Utah when we stopped at this Denny's,one of many on our way home,but unfortunately this was memorable for all of the wrong reasons. Like with many Denny's the kitchen and servers are in full view and earshot of the guests and I was disgusted to hear our server Cathy speaking crudely about her coworkers and guests. I was appalled that she was only being nice to us because she had to and that this seemed to be the norm for them. I won't be stopping by here again as I expect my call to corporate to fall on deaf ears. Like I said she felt comfortable speaking that way in front of everyone! read more

Our waitress was so nice. It was taking a while for the food (we were in no hurry) so she brought us out a bowl of fruit, no charge. When were done eating she told us we could have a free dessert as well for the "trouble". It made our day. We'll be back often. read more

Took my wife out for breakfast, we decided Denny's was the place to go.....never had a bad meal until that morning. Worst omelet I've ever eaten. Omelette was so over cooked the egg was brown and the filling was burnt. We didn't have to pay for the meal but damage was already done. We will never be back to that store. read more

He's super fast, friendly, professional, and overall just a really impressive person of whom I'd suggest they put as the face of the entire restaurant. I went to pick up some food at this dennys(takeout), seemed to me they were understaffed, as soon as I entered there was along line of patrons waiting to be attended. The sweet lady running the register was doing her best, unfortunately a rude postmate driver kept complaining to her about something she had no control over ( items of food not available). So as the lady at the register is trying to help the increasingly irrated customer, all the other patrons are just left there waiting and watching this spectacle.. with no other team members taking the time to come over and help... On top of that their open kitchen design really shoots them in the foot, as I saw one of the cooks in the back constantly just grabbing fist full of food and shoving them in his mouth. It honestly grossed me out, as he would just sink his hand into whatever it was he was eating, look side to side to see if anyone was watching, shove it in his mouth and then continue cooking(or just standing around). When I finally got attended I was told my order had been for the dennys across the street,.. which if anything made me breathe a sigh of relief, if you are going to dennys in kingman I extremely recommend going to the one inside the pilot gas station. How do you not have a working restroom and allow pick up orders but not have utensils? Also, give yourself plenty of time because it'll take double the amount of time quoted. Please sure to expect cold burnt toast. Unfortunately, the worst Denny's we've ever been to. Don't waste your time. Stopped in this afternoon on the way through Kingman. Very disorganized, dirty tables the hostess attributed to a rush causing a longer wait. Once seated it got more disorganized and after waiting for the server to acknowledge the fact we even existed we left and went across the street to Burger King. I've been a Denny's guy for many years but never had an experience like this. I know it's an old facility but it was the dirtiest and most disorganized facility I've had the misfortune to walk into. read more

came in for dinner around 7 pm, ask for the soup of the day, they were out. ordered ice tea, was told they were out, but they could make some more, took 45 minutes to get some. Orders the Spicy Skillet, defiantly did not look like picture, very skimpy portion..... Ordered the new Philly melt, tasted good but wish they had made it hot enough to melt the cheese..... It's Denny's so you know what to expect going in. Came here with my mom for a quick breakfast on the way to Sedona from Vegas. It was pretty packed but we were seated within a few minutes. My service last night was terrible!! I come into Denny's all the time and have never been treated so badly. Our waitresses name was Lois, as she was taking our order snot was coming out of her nose. Every time I go to this place I can never finish my simple breakfast. Just starts to go south in taste real fast. And I should love breakfast just about anywhere. Well, I have been to Lake Havasu, The Red Onion, a local restaurant and man oh man the breakfast is fantastic, totally different than denny's. Not one of the nicer Denny's I have eaten at. Denny's has always been consistent in their menu. The only way to mess it up is bad service. When we stopped the place was not that busy. It seemed that the servers were going in and out for smoke breaks. We had to wait to order. When we did we saw that our food was up at the window for over 5 minutes. To top it off the server lied about what took so long. She was out on break. My wife ordered their ever reliable chicken noodle soup. Server forgot to bring that out before the meal. I guess one plus is they serve beer. I had never seen that at a Denny's before. I will make sure to have some next time so the bad service won't be so obvious. read more

Had to wait for over 10 mins to greet us and give us a seat. There were not many people that day. Worst Food. Service was bizzare ! No body cared to take a moment and ask how the food was ! Waited for almost 10 mins for the waiter to come and about 30 mins for the food. The place was not that busy either. Ordered a sizzling vegetables and a Fit Omelette and they both came out very awful. Sizzling vegetables oh! well it should be called sizzling potatoes is the worst that I have ever had. Fit Omelette has so much grease that I could not complete it. Do not go there. Save your money for something else. read more

We went to this location 2 days after re opening to dine in customers. The waitress sat us at a booth with the single pole in the center, when I sat down my leg got stuck to the pole. After pulling my leg from the pole, yes pulling from the pole. There was so much crap on it my leg was stuck, it pulled the hair from my leg and had to wash the rest off. This place should have been CLEAN after not having customers for over a month. Good job! read more

I had a near death accident and totaled my brand new three day old car last night. It's been a rough night and morning. We came to this Denny's and our server, Linda, was so sweet. Everything came out perfect. The food was great. The service was impeccable. The experience made an otherwise very rough morning to be pleasurable and I am very grateful. The Denny's in the Flying J gas station is the BEST Denny's to go to. The service is so much better and the cooks really out do themselves on fast orders and wonderful food. This Denny's has a mask requirement which is understandable and appropriate for what is going on in the world right now. This establishment offers both digital menu via barcode scanner and paper temporary menus as well. The restaurant was extremely clean, service prompt, and every team member pleasant to interact with. Our waitress, Dawn, recognized right away our dietary restriction from our order which was awesome! Dawn has been wonderful and our food delicious. This location is worth stopping at! read more

I'm here from out of town visiting my family we all went to the swap meet and decided to go to Denny's when I arrived the hostess that was standing up front which was a young lady short with dark colored hair was very rude and unprofessional did not greet us in a nice manner when I told her that we were a party of 8. Rude with an attitude she tells me it's only going to be a couple minutes as we stand there because there is no seating we watch her take in several other parties and seat them. Also speaking to them rudely with an attitude and her voice. Traveling to Las Vegas, needed fuel for car and us. Denny's was convenient right off the hwy on Route 66 & near several gas stations. Friendly host Bailey, promptly seated us and let us know Lu Ann would be our server. LuAnn was awesome, very experienced server with skills and a sunshine personality. Exceptional service, and great food. Given their vast menu, not sure how the great cooks in the kitchen prepare it all and it tastes so good. I have not been to a Denny's for a while, that will change. They have a large menu, something for everyone, clean, friendly staff and awesome food. Try the jalepeno bacon, very good. This was the worst experience ive had at a Dennys. I frequent alot of Dennys while on vacation. The waitress brought the wrong drinks to begin with. Never for the soup i ordered till I got my meal. My husband asked for the grandslam and she stated in didnt come with hashbrows those were extra. He ordered wheat pancakes with sugar free syrup..never got the syrup..got regular panacakes. Asked for the soup i ordered, she says ooops again, then proceeds to drop my husbands food on him..and she says" it got away". At that point i saw the look on my husbands face and we got up and left. I visited this establishment with 20 members of my Boy Scout troop. They were very accommodating and asked us for our drink orders right away. Shortly after they asked for our food orders. The service is quick and friendly. The kitchen staff made the food somewhat quick. The quality of the food was what you would expect from Denny's. Just okay. My friends agreed with me on the quality of the food, so it wasn't only me. Good for a quick breakfast (depending on staff).
