Well, this wasn't the best of visits to Rickety Cricket... Drove down to Kingman from Las Vegas to partake in some Route 66 fun while also making a couple pit stops for craft beer. Rickety Cricket was our final stop today because we wanted some good cold beers with dinner. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They don't have A/C, but they had the big roll-up door open and plenty of fans & small swamp coolers around to keep the temperature somewhat bearable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was tons of seating both inside and outside on their patio.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was so-so. Not super friendly, but not terrible. We initially ordered a flight of 6 beers to try since it's been so long since we've had their beer. When our flight of 6 beers arrived, every single beer was borderline hot. I don't mean luke warm, I'm talking the temperature I usually drink hot tea when I'm sick with a cold kind of hot. My husband walked up to the bar to ask if there was something wrong with the cooling system and the woman behind the bar said, "Oh no, it's just so hot in here that beers just don't get a chance to cool down when we pour those small taster glasses. It's always a problem. I'm happy to pour you 2 pints in chilled glasses instead". If it's a known problem that your beer cannot cool down quickly enough for smaller pours and/or you're unwilling to purge a little beer to get the warm beer that's been sitting in the lines out, then don't offer flights or 5oz taster pours. Not every brewery offers this, you shouldn't feel the need to serve tasters either. I'd rather be forced into a pint that's gonna be served properly chilled than be served a flight of hot garbage that you're ending up wasting anyway by dumping out. Although the pints were considerably colder than the tasters, they still just weren't the proper temp. Now, I believe some of this falls on our waitress. From where we were seated, we could see the entire bar area. We watched our 2 pints get poured, then they sat on the bar top in the sun for about 2-3 minutes before our waitress picked them up, then when she did grab them she walked in the opposite direction to scold some unruly kids in the patio area, then she came over to our table with our beers. The time in the sun plus her holding them for about 2 minutes while dealing with the kids, I'm sure contributed to the warmer temp. In the midst of the beer annoyance, we received our dinner. We ordered the "Carnivore" pizza. A different waitress brought us our food and she was visibly annoyed when we asked for plates since we were sharing the pizza; had to wait 3-4 minutes before we were brought over some plates. The pizza was very good and it was piled with tons of meat. The $30 price tag for the pizza seemed absurd, and although we still feel the price was a little outrageous, we were happy with the flavor and the amount of toppings. It was surprisingly filling considering how small it was. I have no idea how much the pints of beer were since there was no pricing available for beers (except for to-go cans), but our total for 4 pints and 1 pizza was $63 (before tip). Pizza needed to be around $22. I'm guessing pints were about $7.50, if so, they needed to be about $6 considering they aren't being served properly chilled. Very pricey for such a lackluster experience. Next time we'll grab dinner and cold pints at Grand Canyon Brewing down the street. Giving 2 stars for the delicious pizza, because even though it was truly overpriced, we did really enjoy everything else about that "Carnivore".

Stopped at Rickety Cricket Brewing Co. in Kingman, AZ on our way back from the Grand Canyon, and it turned out to be the perfect dinner stop. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We dined outside on their large open patio, which had a relaxed and comfortable vibe, exactly what we needed after a long day of travel.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the Caesar salad topped with chicken, fresh romaine, shaved Parmesan, crunchy croutons, and a solid dressing. Simple but well done and the portion was HUGE. For drinks, I had a Prickly Pear Margarita, which was refreshing and had just the right balance of sweet and tart. My sons ordered the Sud Soakers personal pan pizzas. My oldest got the Carnivore which came loaded with house sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, Italian sausage, and bacon. It was rich and hearty without being overwhelming. My youngest had the Margherita, which was light and fresh with house sauce, fresh mozzarella, basil, and sliced tomato. My husband ordered The Bichen Burger, which definitely lived up to its name; lettuce, tomato, pickle, mayo, pepperjack cheese, grilled jalapeños, and their signature "bichen sauce." It had a nice kick and was packed with flavor. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, it was a perfect stop: great food, generous portions, fun menu, and a really nice outdoor setting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] A great way to end the day before heading back to Las Vegas where we were staying.

Okay so for starters, I have been wanting to come here since I moved to Az. Finally stopped by to celebrate my nursing endeavors and was not disappointed! I was met with prompt and friendly greetings and started my time with a flight brew. Must I say they were delicious! I absolutely loved the snozzberry brew!! Super yummy. Okay also we ordered a personal pizza (big enough for two) chicken/bacon/Alfredo sauce. Shoutout to the man making the pizza , chefs kiss ‍ also our lady serving us at the bar was impeccable, highly attentive and made awesome recommendations. The pizza guy had a running joke for her as "baby giraffe " but we'll just say THANK YOU Sailor! Had an amazing experience and we'll be coming back soon to our new spot

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere was great!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was great!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]We loved the live band. They were also great![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We did not try the food. However, the beer was very disappointing. I travel all over the country trying different breweries and I usually like at least one beer. I am very open to different styles of beer: pilsners, IPAs, you name it!! But I have to say that the beers here were not great. They were not as cold as I would have liked and the taste needs improvement.

Located in historic downtown Kingman right off Route 66. We stopped by on our way back home to Vegas for a quick bite. Unfortunately they only had 1 waitress for the whole place inside & out! We were there almost 1 1/2 hours for a drink and 2 personal thin crust cold pizzas. There was no chance we could have got it remade...we didn't even ask. We just ate a couple cold pieces and boxed up the rest ourselves to take home. It's too bad they didn't have adequate staffing because the cold slices we did eat were actually tasty but I have no desire to go back and try it again. Not to mention they charge a technology fee!

We ended up here on a Friday night as we passed through on the way to Vegas. RCB is in the downtown entertainment district along with many other vibrant businesses. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is super laid back industrial. There were many folks with kids and dogs throughout. The vibe is also super young and hipster.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I detected a few wasps of ganja while we were at the bar. The servers were very friendly and the bartender had a great attitude. We had wings and pizza. I would pass on the wings again, but we thought the thin crust pizza was spot on. It came out hot with a mix of crispy and chewy crust. Just Right. Cocktails were basic and not executed properly but they were cheap and used good hooch. I would defintely come back for the pizza if I was in Kingman.

Visited rickety cricket before at the old location (last time was a little after Covid) . [[HIGHLIGHT]]The new location has an open space with a huge patio[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] , we visited last Saturday and a beautiful day for beer , we ended up sitting inside at a table . The server was very attentive even though we only had a flight . The bees knees was my favorite !!!!

Stoped in for a quick lunch while driving thru town. Service & ambiance were great! Hubby and I split a personal thin crust pizza and it was OUTSTANDING! 8 generous slices, crispy thin wood fired crust with pepperoni, fire roasted tomatoes and their bitchin sauce as the base. Hubby ordered a hazy IPA (Hippie) and it was a great meal for $25.

Updated review with new menu items! Had lunch yesterday and Lindsey, our server who's a local of Kingman, went over the new wings/burger options. There's also new loyalty rewards pricing if you sign up (totally worth it). They've also simplified the personal pizza (Sud soaker) so if you want to get a specialty pizza at a personal size it's a flat cost of $15 - as always service was excellent and the new happy hour menu looks good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The downtown Kingman renovation is looking sharp and happy about the improvements taking place![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Rarely ever 5 stars....always room for improvement..... However, this is a rare occurrence that I've been here for some time and actually truly can give 5 stars. First, I'm on a road trip from the Verde Valley...looking to get away for a few days and Kingman has been on my list. I've had my Yelp Kingman collection for a couple of years and Rickety Cricket was on it from the beginning. Old town Kingman is basically a one-way street and RCB is at the end. Large warehouse, industrial styled with plenty of seating and bar space. You can see the entire brewery vats and I love the openness. I arrived around 1 and was surprised to see they have an amazing happy hour from 11-3 which includes food/pizza/drink options. I ordered the Sudzsoakwr pizza with fennel sausage, roasted peppers, mushrooms and olives. Also had a nice selection of beer - the west coast IPA and then a beautiful "guest" tap apple cider....O M G! Staff is friendly and accommodating, location is easy to find and parking plentiful. The pizzas are delicious and the menu also features smash burgers and other basics. Service was very proactive and attentive, yet casual. If you're in the Route 66 area it's a definite stop in!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a fun brewery restaurant to visit in downtown Kingman.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have both indoor and outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food is unique and good. They have an ample choice of beers on tap. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It can be noisy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]You can walk downtown to see the shops from here.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Come and try their specialty items..

Been here a couple times! LOVE this brewery spot. The drinks are great ! The servers are amazing. Very kind and friendly. The vibes are amazing here as well. They have music at a perfect noise level. They also sell pizza but haven't tried it ! It looks really good. Favorite brewery in town.

Do they have their wings at their new location?

We do not have wings but we do have our amazing burgers and pizza along with a different style pizza that was not offered at the other location.

Is there a gluten free menu?

There's a keto bandito pizza! Cauliflower crust to die for! And the fig reduction really sets it off! Won't be disappointed!

Visiting from the East Coast in a few weeks with some family. We are huge football fans. We're planning on coming in on Sunday and want a place to watch some NFL games. Can someone tell me if RCB has TVs to watch football/has NFL ticket?

Yes on multiple TVs, though not a wall of them. Unsure about Direct Ticket

Can we bring our dog along with us?

    Yes--they have outside seating on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Does this place have power outlets for laptop users?

    Yes we do!!

I also ordered an appetizer of their chips. Both were delicious, the juicy burger meat between the fluffy bun and the crunchy, fresh chips. They were delicious, and I will absolutely order these things again. When I came in, I was sat down very quickly, even at one of the busiest times of the day. I learned that you go get your own soda, so I didn't have to wait for a waitress to refill my drink. I was asked my order and the waitress serving my table was very polite and helpful, routinely checking in to see how everything was going. Nice people. Inside gave you that kind yet tough bar attitude. Taxidermy animal heads were quite abundant, and so were their TVs. I watched a bit of the soccer game, so I got something out of them. Everything was clean, comfortable and made for a fantastic experience. Overall, this is the place for burgers and pizzas. They have amazing food, quality service and a good feeling around. I absolutely recommend this place for those who want a very good burger or anything of that. Maybe, I'll try their pastas next time. Thank you!

The frustrating part is that this is one of the few places in Kingman where you can grab a beer and a burger together. I genuinely like the atmosphere, the beer, and the location. When this place first opened, the Beast Burger was incredible. My server today was excellent. They were attentive, friendly, and did everything right. They deserved the tip I left, and I specifically wanted to speak with the manager to compliment them. Unfortunately, I waited quite a while to speak with the manager. When I finally did, he seemed so disconnected that when I said I wanted to compliment my server, he asked, "Who?" There was only one server working the entire dining room. That interaction left me feeling like great employees aren't being noticed or supported. The bigger issue, though, is the food. I've been here multiple times, often when there were fewer than five customers in the building. I always order my burger medium rare, and every single time it has come out well done. I've almost never complained about burger temperature at other restaurants, but this has happened here consistently enough that it's become the reason I don't want to come back. I want to like this place. The beer is good, the location is one of my favorites, and the server today was fantastic. But the lack of teamwork and leadership, combined with consistently overcooked food, has made me decide I'll probably go somewhere else for my burger and beer. I truly hope management invests more in supporting the staff and improving consistency in the kitchen, because this place has the potential to be great again.

I ordered a personal pizza called the Classic Pep with some breadsticks with marinara and a drink. The breadsticks were basically a 10 inch cheese pizza with more dough and less cheese, but they were still pretty good. The pizza came about five minutes later and the personal pizza was a tiny pizza, maybe around seven to eight inches, and the pizza was good, but not too great for its small size. Still had leftovers, though. Service was good. When someone comes into here, they have to look at the menu upfront and order at the counter, find a seat of their choice and fill their drink and then it goes from there. Pretty simple. Floyd's seems to be a Stubborn soda fan, which I approve of. The man at the counter actually recommended the breadsticks, and now I realize that the pizza isn't enough to fill me or most anybody. It's mostly an at-the-counter style service, except they bring the food to you. Inside was great. The entrance is a little tight, but there's two sides of the restaurant and I sat down in the right side from the door, so I can't say about the left side. One of my favorite things inside was the drink machine had those levers on it, it just felt much better to pull that for drinks than pushing a button. Overall, Floyd's is a great place to eat for everyone. The food is good, the service is great, and inside is comfy and wooden. One thing I would hope for Floyd's is to make their pizza bigger, their personal pizzas are much like those kid menu pizzas. I'll probably try a sandwich next time. Thank you.
