On our way to the Grand Canyon, my family and I decided to eat at Mr. Dz. 9am, and the tour buses outside had the place quite busy. The shape of the building and the decor surrounding the building brought a nice old town vibe to it, and I see why it's a popular tourist spot. We were seated in the back, where all of the service members were kind and responsive. My lack of stars is primarily the food. My brother and I found the Route 66 special to be heavy on the carbs, and low on the proteins, with no aspect of the meal being beyond average. Overall a fine establishment, but I would be interested in choosing a different one on my next drive out to the area.

Great little diner that we usually stop for lunch at when heading to Vegas. Food has always come out quickly and is tasty. This last trip we split a burger plate and a chef salad, both were delicious. It was busy so we sat at the counter. Very nostalgic and gets you up close to the staff which I noticed they all seemed happy to be there. If you are looking for a roadside diner this is the place!

Fun place to stop on a road trip. Not far off the highway, and worth the stop. The decor is over-the-top fun. The car museum next door is moderately interesting. The food is good diner food. Worth a stop.

We love this place!! Great food! Great staff. They are so welcoming and friendly. The burgers here are super!! I have also had the chili a few times and it's fantastic! Also, I've never gone wrong with the soup of the day either. Great malts and shakes too. We love the cute Route 66 decor and clean restrooms at Mr D'z. It makes road trips from Vegas to Sedona all that much better.

This was the bell they use when order was up. Pretty cool

Mr. D'z Route 66 Diner is such a feel-good stop! The atmosphere is classic diner perfection with just the right amount of jukebox vibes--fun, nostalgic, and welcoming. We stopped in for an early dinner around 4:00 pm and had an excellent experience from start to finish. We were seated and able to order within about 15 minutes, and our food came out fresh and hot within the next 10--super impressive service. Everything we ordered was delicious. My daughter had the croissant sandwich, my son and I both enjoyed cheeseburgers, and my husband ordered a breakfast skillet. Every plate was a hit. We thoroughly enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere, and it was the perfect stop for our family road trip. Highly recommend if you're traveling Route 66 or just looking for a great diner experience!

Fun stop to make! Kingman was halfway to our destination and we planned to stop here for lunch since we had an activity planned right when we got to our destination city. It was cute! We got there around noon on a Thursday and were greeted right when we walked in the door and we sat right away. We chose the diner bar, but there were tables in front and back, it was just quicker at the bar. Our service was very friendly, and it felt pretty quick. Since we were at a 50s-style diner I knew I had to get a milkshake. They have a pretty extensive list of flavors! I am basic and went with the classic strawberry milkshake. For my food, I got the club sandwich. I thought everything was great! My shake was super tasty, and the extra comes in the silver canister they blend it in, which of course is great because bang for your buck. The sandwich definitely filled me up and the bacon on it was nice and crispy, perfection! And the friiiiieeesss! Bomb! I loved every bit of our experience here and I'm glad we fit it in. I'm sure on the weekends it gets a bit busier here being a midway point between a lot of places. The parking lot isn't big, so I'm sure that could be a bit of a concern on those busy days. I definitely would come again if I'm passing through. Our service was lovely and our food was great!

Stoped here on the way to Hoover dam. Food was great and service was good. The setting really brings you back to the good old days. Stop in and look around. It's worth the trip

We loved our lunch visit. The food was delicious. The place was super cool. The waitress super friendly. Looks like we found a new stop on our trips to Vegas.

Coffee and Donut Shake

Nostalgic fun decor. Friendly service. Shakes are great. Loved the coffee donut (although I saw the waitress make this adding the toppings on the side some spilled on the counter and she picked it up to stick on the side. Giving them the benefit that counter was clean. The food other then the fries were subpar. The jambalaya soup tasted like it came from a can. The chicken fried steak 'gravy' mostly white and also tasted from a can. Stick with the desserts and fries/ (fried food). Maybe salad.

Route 66 Nostalgic stop that has great food too! Stopped in for lunch during a Route 66 Chicago to Santa Monica trip. The place was packed and had an early 60's vibe. We were seated right away and our server was very prompt and helpful. I had the BLTTA (Bacon Lettuce Tomato Turkey Avocado) with the upsell onion rings. My sandwich was very good and the onion rings were sweet onions and very crunchy, loved them! My wife had the club sandwich with fries and our friends both had Rubin's with fries. All of the sandwiches were very good and the fries were crisp and nicely salted. Note bathrooms were very small single men's and single women's so it was somewhat backed up. If you are in the area I recommend you stop! Also, don't miss the whole car photo op across the street.

Half rack of ribs with coconut shrimp. Mashed potatoes and cole slaw are hiding behind the gravy and baked beans.

Need a diner to complete your Route 66 experience? Then get yourself to. Mr D'z! Everything looks so good but my wife wanted coconut shrimp so we split the Ribs and Coconut Shrimp. That meal was huge! We had a half rack of wet ribs and four big coconut shrimp with a pineapple sauce. This included three sides plus a salad. My wife thought these were the best coconut shrimp she had ever eaten. Ribs were tender and the sauce was KC style (sweet with a little spice kick). Sides were mashed potatoes with gravy, cole slaw and outstanding baked beans. Salad was fresh with very tasty blue cheese dressing and enough for two people. Julieanne served us and she was fast, friendly and efficient and our meal was outstanding. Y'all check em out!

I had a great lunch experience. They were definitely very busy so I sat at the bar. I got their mac & cheese dog, which was really delicious along with their strawberry shortcake shake, which was way too big for one person, but also very delicious though. I kinda wish I had a little bit more cake. Overall, my waitress was really nice. The service was good. I mean their portion are really good and I love how it's like a touristy area.

I'd never heard of Culver's. I felt bad for them That…read morewhoever they were .....and sold burgers .....that an In n Out went in right off the freeway. Being from S. Ca in n Out to me is fine. But to me the are often raw. I went to try Culver's for a soft serve. I was actually shocked at the crow inside and out and the huge staff. The menu interested me. Fried cod and fried shrimp. I decided to try the shrimp. Oh my gosh delish!! I took a lick of my chocolate cone... oh my gosh toooo good! Give it a try

I…read morealways wait patiently for lent season, since that means one thing on the menu "Walleye" I am Catholic, and observe Fridays as no meat days, through the year. So that means it fish Fridays for me! Well after calling the store yesterday, their beloved Walleye arrived for the lent season. Needles to say, I planned my day around getting a Walleye dinner. In the past it has always been exceptional. Cooked perfectly and delicious. Well, that was not the case this time. I ordered the 3 piece Walleye dinner, so I make it a 2 day meal. First red Flagg, was the increase in price. It really jumped, but I wanted my Walleye. I wait all year long for this, and I bit the bullet and took it home for a feast. I live 20 miles out of town, so I put the pedal to the medal, so it would still be hot. Well, when I opened it up, There were 3 pieces of fish. One large on and 2 very small ones. I guess I should have gotten the 2 piece dinner instead. Being a senior citizen of a very fixed income, that will be the last time I would order the 3 piece dinner. I will stick with the 2 piece or just have the sandwich. The other issue was how it was cooked. It was very greasy, and the filets themselves were not really as thick as they use to be! My question is, did the tariffs have something to due with the huge price increase, and the smaller portions. I believe Culvers gets Walleye from Canada. We see on the internet all the time about fast food chains increasing prices and cutting portion size. I am not giving up on my beloved Walleye. The next time I order a Walleye dinner, I will open it up before I leave. I don't want to be shocked again!!! Please watch the grease, that was never there before. .

We dined outside on their large open patio, which had a relaxed and comfortable vibe, exactly what we needed after a long day of travel. I ordered the Caesar salad topped with chicken, fresh romaine, shaved Parmesan, crunchy croutons, and a solid dressing. Simple but well done and the portion was HUGE. For drinks, I had a Prickly Pear Margarita, which was refreshing and had just the right balance of sweet and tart. My sons ordered the Sud Soakers personal pan pizzas. My oldest got the Carnivore which came loaded with house sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, Italian sausage, and bacon. It was rich and hearty without being overwhelming. My youngest had the Margherita, which was light and fresh with house sauce, fresh mozzarella, basil, and sliced tomato. My husband ordered The Bichen Burger, which definitely lived up to its name; lettuce, tomato, pickle, mayo, pepperjack cheese, grilled jalapeños, and their signature "bichen sauce." It had a nice kick and was packed with flavor. Overall, it was a perfect stop: great food, generous portions, fun menu, and a really nice outdoor setting. A great way to end the day before heading back to Las Vegas where we were staying.

Passing thru on the way to Vegas a buddy and I stopped by for a bit of lunch last Saturday…read more It is a friendly, inviting interior with hunting vibes (such as elk horns, a stuffed bear, etc) all around. The place was clean and had decent choices mostly burgers, sandwiches and a few salads. The food was well prepared, tasty and the server was cheerful and helpful with our questions. I felt the prices were a little high otherwise I'd have given it a five star as it met my expectations for a brewery. I can see myself eating here again on another drive to Vegas.

We had to get our own stuff, (napkins, condiments, even salt because it was empty). The only thing our waitress did was take our order and she even got that very wrong. We waited 15 min for our beer, and when we approached the bar, the bartender was sitting and talking, ignoring her tickets. When our beer was finally poured and left on the counter, we eventually just got it ourselves. The only people that did well were the food runners. When paying, our waitress showed no remorse for her mistake in our order and charged us for a soda even though we just had waters. We had already waited so long for service, we just wanted to get out of there. Only good thing is the food was good, though it is expensive for the small amount you are getting. Due to the horrible service, we did not provide her with a tip. If she had tried to correct her mistakes, we would've left a tip and better review. I never plan on coming here again, and I will never recommend this place to anyone. I hope someone sees this and corrects their behavior for future customers.
