Spanakopita, Greek salad and onion rings
    Ken S.

Had lunch at Olympus Diner in early June. I ordered the Spanakopita with Greek salad and onion rings. The food quality was good as was the service, but I did expect to find more Greek items on the menu than what was offered.

The delicious Gyro, I like my onion rings a bit crispier, but they had a great flavor & the batter was nice & light.

I've now been to Olympus three times as I work my way down their menu. I've had the Gyro, the Pastitos (sp?) and the Spanakopita, which was my favorite thus far. The food is really good, the gyro I had was delicious and plenty big....lots of meat and sauce, which I loved. The serving staff is really friendly and right there for anything you might need. If you go for lunch you'll probably see me in there.

Art at Olympus Diner and yes I did want to lick the bowl!

Good for breakfast and lunch, Dinner is only available on Friday and Saturday. Good food decent prices

Went over to have dinner tonight. I had the corned beef, cabbage, potatoes and carrots. Everything was seasoned to perfection and delicious.

Really enjoyed my dinner over at Olympus diner tonight.Local restaurant with good food and good service too.Our waitress was Kim she was very attentive, friendly and we never had a empty cup of coffee.Very clean and can't wait to go back.

    Yuck.

Worst food I have ever eaten. The lettuce was limp and the chicken wasn't even warm, but it was slimy. Not a chance that it was fresh or freshly grilled. The fries were horrible and tasted like they were fried and old oil. I've had amazing Greek food but this wasn't it.

    Menu

We tried something new and it paid off. The food was fresh and tasted great. Portion sizes were great and prices were reasonable. We had a date lunch and we will definitely be back with the kids. The atmosphere was nicely decorated and the service was prompt. The waitress recognized that we were new. Said that most of their business is word of mouth...but this place needs to be blasted to the town for how yummy it was. Definitely recommend. Tell your friends.

My Dad and I came in because I needed to reminisce (I met my late wife here 56 years ago). He had the fish and chips and I had the chicken taco plate. Dad made the mistake of ordering a side salad in addition to his meal. It's a good thing Danita has to-go boxes! We're both going to need them. My chicken tacos were a kind of street taco with lots of good stuff (lettuce, tomato, cheese, onion, black olives, sour cream, and what I think is homemade salsa) to put on them. The beans were delicious. Not typical refried beans, but a really tasty pinto beans topped with melting cheese. Dad's "side salad" is ginormous! I guess there's lettuce under the tomato, black olive, red onion, and tomato, but I can't see it! His cod came out as two very large (hanging over both sides of the plate), and he was sure he wouldn't be able to finish one of them. He was wrong! I don't think there is such a thing as a cheap restaurant any more, but prices here are significantly lower than we expected. I'm so glad we came in. We'll definitely be back.

We had to get our own stuff, (napkins, condiments, even salt because it was empty). The only thing our waitress did was take our order and she even got that very wrong. We waited 15 min for our beer, and when we approached the bar, the bartender was sitting and talking, ignoring her tickets. When our beer was finally poured and left on the counter, we eventually just got it ourselves. The only people that did well were the food runners. When paying, our waitress showed no remorse for her mistake in our order and charged us for a soda even though we just had waters. We had already waited so long for service, we just wanted to get out of there. Only good thing is the food was good, though it is expensive for the small amount you are getting. Due to the horrible service, we did not provide her with a tip. If she had tried to correct her mistakes, we would've left a tip and better review. I never plan on coming here again, and I will never recommend this place to anyone. I hope someone sees this and corrects their behavior for future customers.

He gave me the run down on the steaks and appetizers. I really wanted steak. Sometimes you just need a hearty meal and this was one of those times. Price-wise it's reasonable. 11.99-15.99 for appetizers and the steaks are in the $30's. The atmosphere is casual country/western in the bar. The music isn't too loud for conversation but it's loud enough to enjoy. There is a lot of laughing and talking and it's overall a very joyful place. I can't imagine coming in in a bad mood and staying that way, even if you tried. It's a family friendly atmosphere, but suitable for a date as well. Ryan was also my server and we chatted for a bit. Heck, he was so proud of the place, I thought he owned it. He represents the company very well. He gave me the history and some stories about features in the building. His work partner, Jessica, was dressed for the holidays with a holiday sweater and antlers with a super friendly attitude and strong holiday spirit. They tag teamed all the tables extremely well. As a former server, I appreciated the little details in the service very much. I ordered the fried mushrooms with horseradish sauce in lieu of ranch and a NY steak with soup and side salad. The side salad had shaved carrots which was a nice touch and I enjoyed it. It was larger than I could eat and still have room for everything else, so I stopped after about 3/4. The salad had iceberg lettuce, shaved carrots, chopped tomatoes, cheese and tortilla strips. The ranch was good quality with a fresh taste as opposed to the dressings that seem like it was made with oil or fake dairy products. The second dish to arrive was the fried mushrooms, which incidentally is one of my favorite appetizers ever. They were very good the batter was perfection. Ends up they are hand battered in house and made fresh. I will definitely order them again. The Mexican meatball soup was decent. Not too much bite, but enough to have personality. It's not something I would run out and make or buy again, but I'd eat it if it were served. The steak was good and tender, but could've used more seasoning. The service was amazing and for a dinner for 1, I even had a lot of conversation and laughter. I loved it and can't wait to bring my family here on our next trip through town.

The service this nite was terrible and slow Not attentive and took at least 15 minutes to come back and let us know they were out of the items. While waiting I watched our waitress go everywhere but our table. We just chalked it up to the holiday. That is until today we got there about 3 not very many people but the same very poor slow if any service. This time I was able to get the Prime rib and believe me I was not missing a thing. The place across the street is way better and has a lot better service. Asked our waitress for a extra sour cream and that took forever. One gal asked if we needed anything else I asked for more dressing we never saw her again. Salad was supposed to come out before dinner it did not it didn't even come out with dinner when I asked about it the waitress asked what kind of salad. These people need to be trained. By the way the food was just sub par. Won't be going back anytime soon.

I've thought about the hash brown casserole for years and looked forward to satisfying my hunger for the potato casserole. I was extremely disappointed when I saw the "casserole" come to the table. Shredded potatoes?? What the heck? The waitress confirmed the recipe had changed. They were dry and unappealing. The waitress saw the displeasure on my face and asked several times if I wanted to replace them. I declined. I was really looking forward to the potato casserole. The restaurant ambience was as remembered and the staff were all very nice and friendly. My son enjoyed his food as he had the 4 piece fried chicken dinner with three sides. Note the sides are much smaller as I remembered them to be. Mac n cheese was good but not the same. I guess costs and overhead are cutting into food quality.
