This was our final pub crawl spot on our tour of Kingman beer and mead weekend. What an awesome brewpub with a great taproom, even better beertender and a killer backyard patio where you can see the brewing equipment, stage, games and plenty of area to hang out in better weather. We tried every beer on the menu between the 8 of us that closed the bar down. I went back for another pint of the farmhouse saison that had a unique Brett character unlike a lot of other saisons. Ended the night with Scorched Earth, a great beer packed with some heat from ghost peppers. Black Bridge has been on my list of tap rooms to make it to for a while as I've seen them several years in Nv at the Boulder City Beerfest where they always bring the most beer, share in great conversations and demonstrate the best in what makes craft beer and craft breweries such a special niche. Lee the beertender topped the entire experience off with the best conversation and service that I've had at an out of town brewery in a long time! BEWARE of this place. Very enticing, great band. Bartender eats behind the bar breaking all kinds of health codes. Enjoyed the tasting until we had to call 911. The bartender s friend (self proclaimed by the bartender) caused a huge distraction next to us. She broke glass that wasn't from our table, so she must have brought it with her (as we were sitting in the corner away from the other tables). Anyway, this friend of the bartender must have taken my purse. Jim Mills saw it hit the floor and asked me if I had my purse. I didn't. He went out back to see if he could find this person. People found her. Next thing we know after calling 911, this attempted their brought the balloons back. After the police came, my purse miraculously appeared on another table. The police came and since the bartender kept saying that nothing was stolen, they disappointed us with what felt like a lack of follow through. The Kingman Police Department needs to retrain the female officer. She was rude and combative. Protect and serve wasn't the mood, for sure. (We were asked ti leave the bar by the bartender. I guess calling the police and reporting a crime is undesirable). What a disappointment that such a con disappointed our evening. We were literally discussing future trips here to try their hops. The customer service from the gas station Uber driver, and waitress at Grand Canyon Brewery do not reflect this rude and abusive behavior. Those three exceptions could and possibly should be employed by the Kingman Chamber of Commerce. They were over the top with personally and service. Gratefully, I seem to have my belongings back and a nice bystander prayed with us. But, buyers beware. I would avoid Black Bridge Brewery like the plague. read more

BB has a big local following of friends which makes it look very popular. The patio is their biggest attraction as the beautiful summer Kingman evenings are a great time to sit outside and listen to music. Food can be ordered from neighboring businesses since BB does not serve food. The beer is so-so... I've tried many and have not found one that stands out and worth a take-home growler. It's just something to hold while there socializing with friends. There are other local craft beer options right across the street with much better Kingman made beers. The bartop is a scene out of cheers with locals taking up stools making ordering an at the end by the door situation. The line blocks entry and service is like Soup-Kitchen episode of Seinfeld, you better know what you want before you get to the front. They have 1 bathroom always with a line and recommend men use the porta-potty outside (classy right!) All in all - it's a place to go if you're meeting friends or they have a band you want to see.. otherwise look to the other options across the street. read more

Kingman is famous for being part of Route 66, but it is a small town so I was surprised to stumble upon a craft brewery. In fact, Black Bridge Brewery is not the only brewery - there is another brewery down the street. I came on a summer night a little before closing and was one of two people in the taproom. The bartender was super nice and welcoming. There is a variety of beers on tap so I took a seat at the bar and ordered a flight. The beers that I tried were all decent, but I was not a huge fan of the wicked ginger beer. However, I am not a huge fan of ginger ale to start with so I was not surprised that I was not a fan of its alcoholic version either. Nonetheless, it was an interesting drink that I was glad to have tried. Black Bridge Brewery is open daily, but it closes at 5 P.M. on Sundays. Happy hour is 3 to 6 P.M. daily except for Sunday when happy hour is all day. Food is not served here. However, you can bring your own food or order delivery. The brewery has menus of the local spots that deliver. Pets are welcomed. The whole area was dead when I visited, but this seems to be a spot that locals frequent often and earlier in the evening based on the number of events that the brewery puts on. read more

5 1/2 Stars cause Tim went out of his way to track down the hidden stash of pint glass koozies for us that you get if you check in on Yelp. When I told him not to worry about it his words were, "Well if I'm going to offer it I need to make sure I have it." I have a lot of respect for him, he is a man of his word! We stopped here on our way from Vegas to the Grand Canyon last Friday. Apparently we lucked out (hope the girl who normally works in the taproom is feeling better) but the owner/brewer Tim was pouring that day. He was super nice, welcoming and full of great information. We spent way more time chatting and drinking beer with him that we had expected but it was well worth it. He also gave us some great tips of places to go when we got back to Vegas (we were able to do all but 1). He also gave us some good tips for our Grand Canyon excursion so thank you for that. I guess I should give him 6 stars since he went above and beyond. The place is super cute, love the feel of it, very inviting. It's very clean as well. And the pictures are awesomely entertaining. So we ordered a sampler and Tim hooked us up with smaller samples of all their other fun brews from the tea, to the cold brewed coffee, their house made ginger soda and other beers. Now for the moment you've all been waiting for.... THE BEER REVIEW!!! Raspberry Poison (Imperial Wheat w/ Raspberry): It was good, I'm not a huge fan of fruity beers but this was pretty darn good. My husband loved it. The raspberry flavor was very natural, nothing artificial about it. Summer Wheat (American Wheat): So good! I prefer American Wheat styles over other wheat styles so I excited to see this on tap. It was very refreshing and a perfect beer for a hot summer day. Rive Ale IPA: WOWZA! What an excellent all around IPA. Everything in this was well done and balanced. It was the perfect combination of bittering hops, flavor hops and aromatic hops. It was just perfect! This was one of my favorites of all their beers. This says a lot because my favorite beers are Porters and Stouts. 66 Porter: It was yummy, had good flavor but wasn't overly sweet like some Porters tend to be. It was very light and easy to drink. This would be a good beer for those who don't think they like Porters or Stouts. Locomotive Stout: This was good as well, more along the lines of the stout I'm looking for. The perfect combo of coffee, chocolate and slight sweetness. This was my third favorite beer here. Stout Chocular: Didn't really taste like I was even drinking beer. It was like drinking cold "hot" chocolate but with a hint of beer. I prefer my beer to taste like beer but this was too delicious not to love. 80 Schilling (Scottish Lite): This was the most interesting beer here. I love Scottish Ales so I was up for this one. It really did taste like a Scottish Ale but easier to drink. It was perfect. If Scottish Ales scare you then you should definitely try this. This was my #1 favorite beer here and like I mentioned before this says a lot about their beer cause I prefer Porters and Stouts. There were several others but you get the point... the beers are excellent! I also lost track cause there were so many and I was busy chatting (I'm not the best multi-tasker) Other goodness on tap- Cold Brew Tea: Very refreshing and fresh. I am not a big tea drinker but I found this to be very pleasant. Cold Brew Coffee: YUMMY! This was very refreshing but not too strong. They apparently have been making cold brew coffee for years. Wicked Ginger Soda: WOW! This is yummy! I am usually not a big fan of Ginger Soda but I LOVE Ginger Beer, but this was another story. The best Ginger Soda I've ever tasted. If you want food you can order from one of the restaurants nearby and they will deliver! This is a must if you're in the area or even if you're passing through, its worth the detour =) read more

How did I get here? What happened? I was searching for Pokemon and end up in Kingman, thirsty and Pokemon frustrated. This place is located on a street that time forget, seriously I'm pretty sure a black smith and candle maker also call this street home. This tiny brew house is great pit stop to stretch your legs and see what the locals are drinking. Obviously, I wouldn't recommend drinking and driving so this review is only for the passengers. I went with a growler of 66 Coffee Stout which was a mix of three different dark beers and honestly I couldn't tell you what they were, but I did sample all three and they were delicious. Note to self: Take notes next time. The 66 Stout is mellow, creamy and with no bitter coffee taste, a stout beer for the non-stout lover. There's plenty of tables and bar space to sit and relax, but they don't serve food so the BBQ place next door will be definitely to hook you up. Passing through to Arizona or Vegas? Friendly staff! S tried the wicked poison and liked it. I tried the Evil Red (hop bursted ale) and the Rive Ale IPA and both were very good. The Rive Ale IPA is also nicknamed "citrus IPA" but has no citrus. They said it's the type of hop that gets used. Gotta try it! I love a good brewery and Black Bridge did not disappoint. Because of the pandemic, we chose to drink outside - so far we've hung out on the front patio and the much larger back patio. It seems like a lot of folks hang out inside and it seems fun, but I'm paranoid. I've tried a few beers now: the Oktoberfest (which was available in September + doesn't seem to be anymore), No Pricks Allowed (ale infused with prickly pear), and a blonde. All were great! Wow... I wish we lived in Kingman. We just had an AMAZING experience at Black Bridge Brewery. Everything we tasted was fantastic, and two beers lasted us through a conversation that can only be had with master brewmakers, generous souls, and all-around good people. We have driven over 1000 miles and not come across this type of place.... nor might we on the thousand miles of tar that lead home. I was traveling from Vegas to Phoenix and was in search of a craft brew with my lunch when Yelp help me stumble upon this gem! I have been into craft beer for over a decade and after living in Ohio for 8 years most breweries in the desert southwest left me pretty disappointed. As soon as I looked at the beer menu I knew this place was different. I got the flight of 6 beers to see what the place was made of and I was blown away. Even the 14% wickeds were pleasant. Every beer tasted unique but delicious at the same time. I immediately put Kingman on my list of places to visit overnight so I could experience the brews to the fullest extent. The place was clean and had a cool vibe to it. The bartender was friendly and we engaged in a lengthy conversation. Being so far away from any sort of craft beer scene, this place is an oasis in a desert both literally and figuratively. I think the closest craft breweries are in Lake Havasu and Laughlin, and going east to Flagstaff. Living in Portland, it's a shock to go somewhere where there aren't breweries everywhere you go. However, when you do come across one where you don't expect one, it's a nice treat. It's located on a cute little Main Street type deal that you don't see anymore right on Route 66, adding even more to the atmosphere. Like I always do, I got a flight of beer to sample their wares. I had a brief discussion with the bartender about how overhopped beers are in the Pacific Northwest, and he made a couple of suggestions for beers that are not quite as bitter. My favorite of the six was the Raspberry Poison, a very strong beer at 14% ABV that did not surprisingly taste that strong. The 66 Porter was also very nice and smooth, and I found the Stout Chocula to also be very tasty. No complaints at all about the beer, it all tasted very fresh and had some unique varieties. Service was very friendly, and we talked a bit about beer and the differences between Arizona beer and West Coast styles. I honestly prefer lighter to medium bodied beers instead of hop-heavy bombs, and it was nice to chat with someone that also feels the same way. He also made suggestions for other breweries on my way west, which helped out greatly. If you're driving on Route 66 and like craft beer, I definitely recommend stopping here for a pint. read more

Black Bridge Brewery is finally OPEN!!!!!!! So So So happy that this nano brewery has officially opened it's doors. We came here last week during first Friday for their soft soft opening and it was absolutely fantastic. We were able to meet the owners/managers/bartenders and they were all super super friendly and knowledgeable about their brews. Come here if you're looking for a more upscale bar experience and enjoy savoring the unique flavors each brew has to offer. ~Atmosphere~ -beautifully renovated with touches of brew master decor -places to sit/chill at the bar and freestanding tables -probably not big enough to accommodate multiple large groups, but perfect for 2-4 people get-togethers. -multiple TV's for sports-goers ~Brew~ I'm by no means a beer connoisseur or even fanatic, but I did enjoy that they offered a good variety at their soft opening. They said they're going to have 10 beers on tap. And since they're a nano brewery, the batches are small, so you will likely be able to try a new beer every time you go. ~Price & Hours~ -$4/pint -This place is open 7 days a week!!! Which is phenomenal for a Kingman business. I hope they're able to maintain those hours. ~Food~ -no food offered, but I heard Siren's next door is developing a daily dinner menu to compliment this new place. Currently Siren's does not provide daily dinner service. ~Impression~ but definitely not my final impression since I plan to re-visit this place over and over and over again. All of the Beale street business owners are very close knit and they seemed very excited to add Black Bridge Brewery to their circle. By far, the best place in Kingman to grab a beer! The owner is a great guy with a wide range of knowledge of his craft and a passion for downtown Kingman and what it has to offer. All staff is welcoming and helpful. They now have a bar and stage out back that is amazing, are serving flights and yummy sample beers from other craft breweries, have many themed nights such as pub quizzes and movie nights, live entertainment, the list goes on!
