The food is the only good thing left here. Seems like this place had a good few years and then everything started falling apart. I still try to come on the weekends cuz we love the dj Arik but the vibes are off, weird crowd, drug use is rampant. We only go during the day now just wish we could get used to some of these faces. The only one we like now is Cass I think her name is. Hope they can change stuff around and get rid of some of the riff raff that frequents there. read more

Our hiking party arrived for Tuesday Margaritas & tacos. Many ordered other dishes. But as a vegetarian the selection was minimal. As usual there was the option of a dinner salad. I decided to order a taco without meat and ask for beans as a substitute. Which they didn't have. I asked what they did have on the taco? Cilantro and an onion. I was determined to eat a taco and asked if they could maybe have some lettuce and tomatoes, which the complied. Overall good taco but could have had more salsa! The tavern itself was fun and a bit whimsicall. The margaritas were pretty good! read more

To me it's wrong to say anything negative about a place I visit couple times a week I guess I wonder what's going on. We lost a wonderful bartender and the atmosphere has changed. This place is another diamond in Kingman with Events nice place to be for visitors its a nice crowd people are really friendly security keeps the troublemakers out on weekends, so dance and drink your butt off. This Saloon may be the largest and has more events than others for me as a 5 year local the weekdays I miss the amount of people who were here. I don't know what happened. Service is ok and ambiance is ok during the week maybe travelers have slowed down cause of the economy. This place is great, clean, has pool tables, and events. I believe visitors will not regret visiting here. read more

When it comes to wateringholes, you dont find a grogshop as cool as this. This is probably a place you'd have to Google to know where it is unless you live in the area or know about the area. Walking in, we got a few ogles because clearly we weren't part of the weekly regular gang, and they suspected we weren't from "'round these parts"....We're guessing donning our VGK gear was a dead giveaway. The bartender promptly greeted us, who seemed very energetic and fun to be around. She suggested items including the 75 cent wings that day. Service was nothing but prompt and friendly all night.... Why can't we have this friendly of service in Vegas? The food was great, freshly cut fries, crispy and tasty wings, and a very fulfilling burger. I sat for hours and laughed while having tall cocktails. I equally enjoyed the fact that I didn't have to breathe in any smoke like in Vegas, plus no gambling machines to worry about. My husband and I were in the area a couple of years ago and went to The Sundowner for karaoke and had a great time so we decided to go again while we were in town. We had a blast! KJ Sam (karaoke host) and the staff were so friendly and so were the other patrons. We felt right at home thanks to the welcoming atmosphere. Food is pretty at Sundowers Saloon. I've had a chicken sandwich with fries and fried pickle chips. All good. Sometimes the bar service is slow. They also need to learn how to make a good margarita. Like the bar it has a dance floor and karaoke I think on Sunday evening. And 3 nice pool tables. Tables or rustic booths. Nice atmosphere for sure. Enjoy going there on N Years eve. Fun. read more

Food is way overcooked. Had a steak taco salad. The steak was so overcooked it was crispy and hard, the tortilla bowl was saturated with fry grease. The pulled pork was hard and was crispy. The pastrami sandwich was so hard my brothers girlfriend couldn't eat it. My brothers BBQ pulled pork was heated on the grill over salted and hard. Wings were so so, but everything was not good. Waitress was awesome, and a little funny. My second time there, don't know if I'll be back. If I hear they have a new cook, I might. Nice pool tables and plenty of televisions. Took a long time for us to get service, when we did our order came out with the worst fries I've ever had, cold and nasty tasting. We were on our way back to Prescott, Arizona from Las Vegas. My husband looked up sports bars to try to stop for a little bit to see his football game. We stumbled upon this place. Yes, it is definitely a "dive bar" but we were pleasantly surprised! Everyone was friendly. Ana, the bartender, was extraordinary and oh my gosh, the food! This was the second time we tried this place because I believe in a fair chance. First off the place is good sized indoor and outdoor, my wife and I go in look around and find a booth that has not been cleaned so we sit and wait and wait and wait! More than 15min. We were not acknowledged until my wife went to the bar to ask for a menu. Ordered bottled beer and food, the beer was not cold at all, and the food was less than mediocre. Wife got a combo basket chicken strips, cheese curds and fries. Chicken and cheese was ok, the fries were not fried hot enough and were super greasy, food was not seasoned and very bland. I ordered the Reuben sandwich with same under cooked greasy fries. The sandwich was not flavorful at all and fell apart as soon as I picked it up! I hope they can step up their game, this could be a great place to hangout for sure. read more

It was our first visit here. The atmosphere and ambiance was warm and friendly. They had a circular bar like the one in Cheers TV show. There's a huge dance floor and they offer free line dancing lessons on Friday night 6-9pm. There's four billard tables and a shuffle board. There's an outdoor patio, lot of benches and a fireplace which is on during the winter. The staff are very attentive, friendly and fun!!! We ordered the fish and fries special. The fish was Alaskan Cod, it was crispy and fluffy and delicious! Also, ordered the Sundowner Philly Steak Sandwich, it came with thin sliced ribeye steak, grilled onions, peppers, mushroom and melted white cheese, I have through my travels nationwide, this was the best I've had, it was incredible. The cook was very friendly when he brought our food. We gave him our compliments after we ate. And we had 1/2 our order to bring home. Kudos to the entire staff for giving us such a warm welcome because of the awesome personalities, we will definitely become regulars here. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu, Karaoke sing and do some two stepping. I also heard they have a comedy night which we will definitely check out!!!! read more

I just had the BEST burger in like...ever! I used Postmates delivery (Covid and all, you know). My burger was two wonderful beef patties (medium), cheese, bacon, and pastrami on a great bun. Simply delicious. It came with HUGE order of real potato fries! The quality was unparalleled in Kingman, and delivery was prompt. read more

Hubs and I love the Sundowner! Wednesday is wings day and they have the best wings in town at the best price! One of my fave dishes is the Mac and Cheese! Sundowners left me feeling confused. I believe that we went for dinner on a Tuesday evening. For some unknown reason, they had a DJ/karaoke thing going on at 7:30-ish PM. If you have never listened to a DJ interspersed with random skanks singing shitty Carrie Underwood karaoke at 7:45 in the middle of the week, it does not make you think "This is Amazing!". The menu basically consists of wings, Papa Murphy's Pizza (yes, the Take and Bake chain), burgers and sandwiches (which have numerous attempts to put pastrami on them). The pastrami is kind of dry and completely unnecessary. On the positive side, the shots were poured on the heavy side and the urinals are pretty nice. It took me more time than it should have to find a second compliment, and it was about urinals. That pretty much sums up the Sundowner Saloon. read more

This place is a joke!! They let their poor service stand because it's Kingman. The DJ is a complete ahole. Does not play your request unless it is something he personally likes. It could be completely dead on a Saturday night and he will still not play anything country. The cocktails are a complete joke, so weak. They claim to have over 1,000 people on any given Friday or Saturday night which is a complete joke. And they treat you like shit if you have different views than them. The ONLY good thing is they get somewhat busy and are located in New Kingman area. THATS IT! read more

Went there last night with about ten friends. Several guys near us were drunk and swearing constantly. I decided best to leave. As I passed them when I went out the door one of them asked if I had a cigarette lighter, when I said no and kept walking he yelled "WELL F**K YOU THEN!". His buddies then joined in. Our favorite place in Kingman! Food is always delicious, love .75 wing wednesday, Best fries in town. We frequent for Sunday football, plenty of TVs to watch, manager Josh is great, bartenders are all amazing too! Crowd during day is older and locals and at night definitely younger more like a club atmosphere on weekends, it kinda checks all the boxes for a bar and entertainment place in a small town.
