    Homemade fruit cobbler

We had an amazing dinner at the Kingman Chophouse from the moment we walked in. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and every staff member we interacted with was incredibly friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server, Allison, was outstanding--attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious, from start to finish. Every dish was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. We finished the meal with their homemade cobbler, and it was the perfect sweet ending. Highly recommend this place for a perfect date night--you won't be disappointed! The pictures of the steak and salad are only half, we split our meal and they split everything up for us and we still had too much to eat!

65+ menu: 8 ounce sirloin and steak fries

Excellent food! Good service, welcomed at the door, we were seated and drinks came quickly before we met our server. Ordered sweet tea, it does not taste house made, it tastes like Lipton lemon tea, swapped it for regular tea. No kids menu, my son ordered of the 65+ menu, the 8 oz sirloin and steak fries. I ordered a 7 oz bacon wrapped filet with melted blue cheese crumbles, a side of mac and cheese, and not pictured, their French onion soup. The food was so good. My son and I were very impressed, both of our steaks were cooked perfectly, the food was excellent. I don't think I'd order the mac and cheese again, but everything else was above and beyond.

This seems to be the best restaurant at least on this side of town. Good pastas, burgers, and of course steaks, but also salmon, salads, soup. Full menu with lots of sides. Some a bit over done or heavy handed but good. Carmen was very helpful.

Fried Shrimp Dinner with loaded baked potato

Had dinner at Kingman Chophouse in early June and again on August 26th. Both times I ordered the Fried Shrimp Dinner with loaded baked potato and salad. Everything was delicious and I had no complaints about the service or quality of the food. Will definitely be returning again!

They used to have good steaks. The last couple times the steak were tough and prices went way up. We don't go there anymore.

I've thought about the hash brown casserole for years and looked forward to satisfying my hunger for the potato casserole. I was extremely disappointed when I saw the "casserole" come to the table. Shredded potatoes?? What the heck? The waitress confirmed the recipe had changed. They were dry and unappealing. The waitress saw the displeasure on my face and asked several times if I wanted to replace them. I declined. I was really looking forward to the potato casserole. The restaurant ambience was as remembered and the staff were all very nice and friendly. My son enjoyed his food as he had the 4 piece fried chicken dinner with three sides. Note the sides are much smaller as I remembered them to be. Mac n cheese was good but not the same. I guess costs and overhead are cutting into food quality. Sadly I won't be returning to any Cracker Barrel in any state, unless the original casserole recipe is brought back. But I'm one person and don't think the casserole will return.

It has a large diner style menu of breakfast, lunch and dinner but the inside has the theme more of a malt shop, than a diner. Really cool. Lots and lots of neat stuff, both in and outside of the restaurant. We both had the blue moon, burger, with blue cheese and mushrooms, and a cherry Coke. Not the kind of cherry Coke you would get in the store, a Coke with real cherry syrup like you used to be able to get. It was very good. The burger was juicy, the blue cheese had a nice "funk" to it, and the mushrooms played off of it very well. The veggies were also very fresh. The fries were your standard diner, fries, nothing fancy, but also very good. The prices were reasonable for what we got. There is a gift shop, and it is separate from the restaurant, but they have lots of good stuff. We were very happy with our meal. Thank you.
