Well, Well, Well..... I just rode into Kingman, AZ. on day 15 of a 16 day 4,600 mile motorcycle trip. I've never been to Kingman, AZ. and the last thing I expected to find on Route 66 in the middle of nowhere was a dining experience! I saw Garibaldis on Yelp and the pics looked decent so I decided to give it a try. WOW! What an incredible meal I just had. I ordered the Tomato and Mozzarella skewers and the Rack of Lamb with the Risotto, and Green Beans. EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING! The lamb was ordered medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. The Risotto was flavorful and the Green Beans were succulent! Not much of a wine list to choose from but 3 glasses of the cab went down nicely with the lamb. The staff was AWESOME!! They were so friendly and helpful but not overbearing. They had a wonderful Violinist playing a wonderful set list that ranged from classical to musicals to broadway hits to Cold Play. KINGMAN AZ YOU ARE LUCKY TO HAVE SUCH A FANTASTIC RESTAURANT TO EXPERIENCE A NIGHT OF FINE DINING! The service and atmosphere was very good. I enjoyed the cheese bread and my mom liked her shrimp dish but my filet and my daughter's ribeye steaks were not good at all. My filet was way too over cooked I asked for medium rare and it came out well done, the ribeye was so fatty my kid could barely eat any of it. I even mentioned to the staff how overcooked my steak was the gentleman seemed to be too busy to offer to remake the steak so we got a box to go and the check. My dog enjoyed the steak more than I did. I guess this is why you should go to an Italian restaurant and stick to pastas. If I returned I would try to stick with pasta dishes only. read more

My partner and I decided to try it out. We went early and it was very nice experience with a violinist playing. I love the High Tin ceilings imaging how much the AC bill is. FINALLY, got a table for dinner. Dinner now served Thursday-Saturday. Note that reservations can be made online with Open Table. Reservations highly recommended especially for Friday and Saturday nights. The parking lot is on the corner just a few feet west of the door. The lunch room is the first door from the parking lot (with Garibaldi's painted on the glass door) while the dining room is the next door down. There is also ample street parking on Route 66 (Andy Devine Blvd). Tonight started with a Caesar salad. It was beautiful and very flavorful. The Spring salad looked tempting, but it would be difficult to pass up the Caesar that was so good. Main courses around the table were Lobster Ravioli, Filet Mignon, and Chicken Marsala. All were delicious, cooked perfectly, tender and juicy. The Risotto was definitely the winner starch and the vegetables were also perfect. Topped off with the Tiramisu, creamy with flavor and chocolate. The dining room, a new addition between the lunch room and the Brunswick Hotel lobby area, was tastefully decorated with the high ceiling in antique tin panels and wood-grained tables. Looks like tables for about 45 or so diners. Service was well-staffed, friendly, and attentive, kitchen was prompt but not rushed. The wine list was modest. Did not ask about a corkage policy. It would be nice to know with the wine bar within a block that has a wonderful selection of bottles. A three course meal without wine or beer runs around $50 per person. When you want to spoil yourself, this is the place. read more

TURNED AWAY customers because they were closing in 40 min. Just WOW and not in a good way. Once bitten. we won't darken their doorstep again. They must have all the money they need... SO, I missed this, but apparently there was an unhappy customer who told them to F*** Off and they literally chased the man and his wife out of the building. Our Initial Visit: Saturday, 12-9-2023 The restaurant has not a parking lot however street-parking was relatively easy and available. We arrived sans reservation at 5:00pm. The restaurant has two entrances. One for a huge banquet room the other for restaurant patrons. As luck would have it, we chose to enter the door to the left, which was the door to the banquet area, with one or two couples seated at a very long table. We walked forward toward the rear seeking assistance for seating and were impolitely informed/told we had to exit that room using the front door, the same door we used to enter and re-enter the building through the "restaurant" door. With evening cold and windy and were surprised, no shocked when we twice requested to walk through the rear area of the banquet room and into the restaurant area and were twice unapologetically told "no, that was just not possible". We were seated at the last table on the left side, thinking we'd find comfort there. There were two other couples seated and eating at that time. Time now was approximately 5:15pm We were given menu's and we prepared to order at approximately 5:35pm. We wanted cocktails and were informed the restaurant does not have liquor service. Each of us ordered salad and main dish, specifically requesting the main dishes not be brought until our salads had been fully consumed, and received acknowledgement from our server. Well, approximately five minutes after the salads had reached our table our dinner plates arrived and placed on on our table by what we believe was a "bus-boy". At that time we had just begun consuming our salads. We motioned the server to the table reminding him of our request dinner was not to be brought until our salad had been fully consumed. The server offered an explanation, "the cook(s) wanted to get the food out of the kitchen to the table" and into the dining room. We were not at all happy. A bit taken-aback, the waiter removed our dinner plates. By this time, approximately 6:00pm, the restaurant had filled close to capacity. The noise level was tumultuous, discouraging normal conversation between us. In addition to the dinner/salad plate confusion we were very much less than pleased with this added and unexpected noise inconvenience. With liquor cocktails unavailable we each ordered a glass of wine. Dinner plates were returned to our table, with plates extremely hot, and food barely warm. We took our dessert "to go" as we wanted out of that uncomfortable environment as soon as possible. We'd like to believe had the dinner/salad plate confusion not occurred, despite the deafening noise level we might have had opportunity to enjoy our dinner's as designed had food been properly heated, not reheated, and are certain that would have also been management's preference. We wish management every success, however we are not likely return any time soon. For us, an unpleasant experience from start to finish. read more

Garibaldis has done a very nice job of creating a beautiful restaurant in our small town of kingman AZ. We went recently and were greeted right away and sat at a table immediately. The staff was very friendly and our drinks were never dry. We started with the fried ravioli which was amazing. We also ordered the filet and the ribeye. The steaks were prepared to perfection and served with asparagus and mashed potatoes. The sauce that came with the filet was perfect! We finished our meal with a slice of strawberry cheesecake cake. Best cheesecake we've had in a long time. The building is beautiful and has been tastefully renovated and includes a couple of touches from the original building. Hopefully you'll find them when you go. We are happy and will continue to go back. read more

We were a large party of 11 and everything was great at first, before the food, very attentive staff, no one went without a drink, we were actually four groups together everything seemed to be ordered right, food was mediocre, we ordered the cheesy bread as an appetizer because no bread is served with the meal, which seems odd to me for an Italian restaurant and it was just ok and the marinara sauce was ice cold to dip it in, should have been warmed , then our meals arrived, all but one guest, who still had not received their meal when the rest of us had finished, will get back to that later, back to the food, the sides were good but my ribeye was like a small fatty breakfast steak, didn't seem like 8oz, and was not the medium rare I ordered, more like medium well, my husbands filet was not 6 oz either, and the chicken Marsala didn't have a nice dark mushroom sauce as it should, just ok, most things seemed priced fairly except maybe the spaghetti and meatballs $28 is a bit high, and watch your bill when it comes they charged us $4.50 per beer that was $4.00 on the menu. Ok back to the guest with no meal.... We were the first table sat, he ordered the rack of lamb, I actually saw a rack go to another table that was sat after us, I'm sure it was supposed to be his, we actually all had finished and he still had no meal, it was handled quite poorly, if you knew it was going to take that long in my opinion he should have been offered something that could be made quickly like a steak, without going into details it was not handled well by the owners, I have worked in a fine dining Italian restaurant before and management customer service most of my life, this experience was just ok and unfortunately no one in the group will be back, for dinner anyways, it was actually the second try for the couple who the husband didn't get served, their first try was not good either, I may at some point give their lunch a try.....in a nutshell great wait staff, just ok food, situation disappointing. ***EDIT*** owner reached out which was greatly appreciated and we will be trying them again. read more

Where to begin? After seeing all the Facebook postings for this restaurant, we decided to give it a try. Kingman is way underserved with GOOD restaurants, and given all the hype about the owner/chef, his "resume", etc, we figured this would be a really nice dining experience. Wow, were we wrong. First, the atmosphere: the restaurant is on the ground floor of the Beale Street hotel "complex" The whole block of businesses share common walls. We walked in, and wow, a very high ceiling with refurbished metal tiles, and NOTHING on the walls, just white paint. Not a single piece of art of any kind. It's just one big room, with 8-10 tables. We got seated, and the first "waitperson" who arrived at the table could not answer a question about where the wine we were interested in was made. He departed to find out. Moments later, he was back with "sorry, I don't know". So I guess its too hard to go to the wine rack, pick up the bottle and read the label. Then, the apparent main waitperson arrived, and we posed the same question. Luckily, she knew the answer, so we ordered the bottle. The wine was probably the high point of the evening. We ordered an appetizer, and then the main course. My wife ordered the Lobster Ravioli, and I ordered the Chicken Parmesan. The dinners arrived quickly, and admittedly, my wife really liked her meal. Mine was less than okay. The chicken was overcooked, the risotto was mush and had no flavor, and the asparagus, was not even "Al dente". Some things are not meant to be crunchy and asparagus is one of them. Service throughout the meal was spotty, with the main "waitperson" lady being fine, but the latino looking guy dressed all in black was nothing short of rude every time he came to our table. It was like we were an imposition to him. To spend $150 on two meals and bottle of wine comes with the expectation that you will have really good food and top-notch service. We got neither. The next time we want to have a fine dining experience, we will go back to our favorite in Kingman, Mattina's Ristorante Italiano, where out of at least eight times there, we have had a superb dining experience each time. Don't waste your time at Garibaldi's, it is overhyped, overpriced and just not even close to being a decent restaurant. read more

What an amazing find in Kingman!! We were able to make it for lunch and had awesome food and service. Lasagna was the lunch special, homemade with sausage and sauce that tickled every taste bud. We receive a secret taste of their steak cheese bread that was possibly one of the best foods I have ever had. Had a lovely lunch here traveling from Las Vegas to Phoenix. The garlic cheese bread was perfectly seasoned and the cream pesto angel hair pasta with grilled chicken was outstanding. Had a slight glitch when it turned out the red sauce and meatballs my wife ordered had bell peppers to which my wife is allergic but the waiter was super understanding, prepared an alternative meal quickly, and comped us the side salad and cheese bread. The ambiance is quiet and unassuming and perfectly functional. Overall not glitz but just really good food served in an quick and friendly way. Really enjoyed it. read more

In Kingman for Dr. visit, I found this place online! Lucky us, it was open Thursday for lunch. I had the special Cheese Ravioli it was delicious! My husband had the cheesesteak sandwich, he said it was one of the best he ever had! Luigi Jr. was our sever and was very nice. I left my debit card behind and didn't notice until the next day. I called and luckily Luigi was at the restaurant! He was so sweet and met me Saturday to hand me back my card personally. This family restaurant is top notch, great food and service!
