Host/cashier
Ms V.

We had breakfast on a Wednesday morning. Our server Santos was excellent. The food portions were small and cold when it arrived. Coffee was piping hot and yummy. Bad: the host REFUSED to give the elderly man paying a discount w/coupon because it was 11:01 and the coupon was good until 11am. Then proceeded to be sarcastic about the time. It would have been a kind thing for the host to give the discount and shown some respect. Oh and please big up your sagging tight pants.

Original Grand Slam
My W.

Broooooo.... They came in hot with the Original Grand Slam. It was classic, nostalgic, and only $7?! A total win. Childhood memories served with childhood prices. But then... the rest of the table happened. One kid's BBQ Beef Mac & Cheese Skillet had zero Mac and even less cheese. For $22? At Denny's?? Be serious. Y'all doin' too much of nothin' The other got a club sandwich so dry I almost offered it a glass of water. And somehow... my bill was $65 for 3 people. At DENNY'S???? I left full but also questioning the economy, my life choices, and possibly capitalism. Inflation, you got me bad.

Coffee with a side carafe

Solid breakfast spot that started my day off right! Came here early on a week day morning and had the bacon and eggs to fuel my day properly. Washed it down with a coffee and like having a carafe to myself as I drink a lot. My server was super chill and prompt with service. The inside was spacious with a classic Denny's vibe. Food came out in good timing and enjoyed a good breakfast experience. Thanks for having me!

Lumberjack Slam
Jonathan S.

I had a gift card that someone gave me for Christmas, so I thought I would use it to treat my parents out for breakfast. I had the Lumberjack Slam, which had two buttermilk pancakes, ham, bacon, sausage links and two eggs sunny-side up with a side of whole wheat bread. I mostly have breakfast at the Marlin Bar, and the food there is pretty much the same as the food here at Denny's. The eggs were not runny or hard, and the bacon strips did not taste chewy, which is how I mostly like my sunny-side up eggs. The sausage links were perfect, and the pancakes tasted soft and fluffy. My coffee, however... was nothing to write home about, since I had my first coffee at Starbucks before we came here. For a Friday morning, I saw that the place was pretty packed, but prices were okay.

Wanted to take a pic of the waffles but they disappeared quickly.

Casual dining and kid/family friendly environment. There's lots to choose from on the menu and no matter what time of the day it if you want breakfast for dinner which is what I did then you're more than welcome to have that. The service is weak but it's always been that way here, I don't mind it tho. The food is good. I love the milkshakes, birthday cake batter is my favorite!

Breakfast!
James S.

Came in for breakfast and were seated promptly, our host was very pleasant. Our waitress took our order as we knew what we wanted and got the food out to us within five to ten minutes. My son got their Oreo jr milkshake and it was delicious!!! Under $25 for 2 is not a bad deal and the food was very good!! Everything was fresh and got four stars. Pancakes were good, French toast was great, eggs cooked just the way we wanted. thank you Dennys for making our breakfast tasty and delicious. See ya next time!

Waitress "Tanya" is so genuine, sweet, serving well and fast.

The only one she loved is a little far out called LJ's, so I decided to gamble on District 36. I met the owners when they first opened, good people who know what they are doing. The next gen trailblazing the way for Little Saigon. Saw they added a breakfast burrito, so I called in a to-go order: sausage + bacon + avocado (Valentine's Day splurge ). Gamble paid off. She loved it. This isn't just another bacon-egg-cheese wrap pretending to be special. They use tater tots instead of regular potatoes, so you get crispy + soft instead of mush. The sausage is the real twist, Vietnamese style, like bún chả pork: slightly sweet, savory, garlicky, lightly caramelized. Then the surprise: pickled veggies inside. That acidity cuts the richness and balances the whole burrito so it eats lighter than a typical gut-bomb breakfast burrito. It ends up tasting like a true Viet-American diner take on a SoCal classic, comforting but aromatic, familiar and sooo goood. Nice to finally have a worthy breakfast burrito option closer to home.

My friend and I ordered the arugula salad with poached egg on top, chorizo burrito, truffle crunch sandwich, and of course mixed berry cheesecake waffle with two blood orange drinks. The arugula salad was so light and flavorful from the vinaigrette dressing, some acid with the tomato and the poached egg made the entire plate creamy. The chorizo burrito has its staple egg, potato, and cheese with the chorizo giving the entire thing a nice kick to it. I loved the arugula in the crunchy truffle sandwich added such a nice lightness to the entire sandwich and the truffle elevated the sandwich with its umami flavor. And the waffle is my go to favorite sweets there and drink was a nice end to a savory meal. Staffing there was very sweet and kind! The Cowboy Up. Both with tater tots because a salad would've been disrespectful. Now, let me tell you. I have had my share of burgers over the decades mainly because Cows are easy prey. Right here is a heavenly burger(s). I praise the bovine that gave its life for these ground beef masterpieces. I salute you. The tots were crispy and an appropriate complement to the burgers. Service was solid. Prices are fair. Everything on the menu looked righteous. Karaoke participants were actually impressive. We'd come back. I wouldn't hesitate in grabbing the same food. You can either get lucky or park around the block, depending on the day / time. My absolute favorite coffee is the Hawaiian Cowboy. The Pork Belly with Black Garlic and the Seared Duck Breast were both perfectly executed. Crunchy, golden skin. Juicy meat. Rich, flavorful sauces paired with comforting, silky purées. Balanced. The kind of plates that make us slow down to savor each mouthful... and then shamelessly scrape up every last bite. We were so smitten after those first two dishes that we threw all caution and control to the wind. I asked staff to surprise us with one of the dishes recommended earlier. Out came the Grilled Octopus Al Pastor. Nice char, tender bite, and a tangy sauce. For dessert: the Baklava Cheesecake. Lightly spritzed with aromatic rose water, ultra sweet, and unapologetically indulgent. Beautifully crafted and shareable, though you may not want to. Beyond the food, the ambience really shines.
