My hubby ordered the sizzling chicken platter, while I ordered plain light pancakes, second trip, he got the same thing ans I again with the pancakes and scrambled eggs. 26 December 1st trip and 29 December second trip. Both times (clapping) they did not disappoint. My hubby would have went every other day, but I can't do pancakes THAT much a body explosion waiting to happen. LOL . Soooo with all that I'd say - YES! Our waitress, Day, was outstanding! I don't think there are enough positive things to say about her. She took our party of 8's order without writing anything down and it amazed us all that our order was 100% right, no fault at all. I could never do that myself! Both pros and cons but overall we'd happily come back. The milkshake was small for $4 but really well done. Hash browns were underdone but I was so full from the cinnamon roll pancakes I didn't even care. It's a sweet heart attack on a plate but so good lol. What can I say. The food is usually decent. The nachos are always great. Me and friends will usually get the large order and split it. I typically will get a burger or grand slamwich. They are both fairly decent. I'm not expecting a medium rare burger because its always well done. That's probably company policy which is in the best interest for everyone. Now the staff is good for the most part. Always pleasant ish. There has only been 2 or 3 outstanding waitresses in all the years I have been eating at this Denny's. They all ended up being a manager as well so their excellent service did pay off. So truly if everything was based on what I have said already then I would give it 4.5 stars. The only thing is that every time I eat here, something is wrong. I or a friend orders a cheddar bun and doesn't receive it the first time around. There's 4 entrees and only 3 of us get ours while the fourth is waiting 20 minutes. I don't get a drink refill until 35 minutes into my meal. My friend orders a double cheeseburger and there is actually an open empty sugar packet in between the patty and condiments. There's an employee arguing with someone loud enough for everyone to hear and trying to make them leave and I don't think they're even a customer. I go here expecting to wait a while to get my meal and plan on something being wrong with it, or really something wrong with the experience. This is a real problem and I feel that in this area people have come to expect this and settle for it. I go here and expect these things. I expect a 2 star experience. All the little and not so little things add up. I wouldn't want anyone else to get their hopes up for much more. I would suggest going to the waffle house if breakfast is what you're looking for. This is the worse Denny's on the planet. Their customer service skills are terrible. Fixing order is terrible. Start of my problem is ordering from the app. I tried ordering the crazy spicy skillet. The didn't offer it online. I called the the store and informed them of my online order. So I ordered the bourbon chicken skillet spicy. No option to add eggs like in the restaurant. Picked up my order, went home to find out my over 300 degree food was placed in cardboard. Cardboard melted and broke. Went back to Denny's and was given a difficult time. Asked to add egg for $1, just like if I ordered it added to my crazy spicy skillet online or in the restaurant. Instead of offering the eggs for free, due to all the issues, container melted, gas back and forth. No, they charged me over $4 for 2 eggs. No rest for the weary. We visited this restaurant Saturday evening, it was myself, my husband, and our oldest son. When we got there we were told with the power issues going on the kitchen was running about 45 minutes behind which we understood and didn't have an issue with. However our issues ended up being not with the food but with the customer service we experienced. Our waitress was Cheyenne R. She was rude and gave every other table around us good service except for us. Took her 30 mins to bring me creamer for my coffee. She told our son that the burger he was asking about couldn't be customized (he only wanted bacon, cheese, pickle, and ketchup) but when she brought the food his burger was the original one she said couldn't be customized. When we mentioned this her response was for him just to pick off what he didn't want because it would take too long for them to make another one. (Kitchen only took about 25 minutes to make our food). My husband and son got burgers and I got pancakes, took her 15 minutes AFTER bringing me my food to bring me silverware so I could eat. My family was almost done with their food before I could even begin eating. All in all the food was delicious but the customer service was absolutely horrific! We watched other waitresses with more tables than Cheyenne be better waitresses then her. I really hope she sees this read more

Must write up the amazing food I here while visiting Henderson for my niece's wedding recently. Went here on a Saturday morning and it was pretty busy, though we were sat promptly. The server was super friendly and the restaurant was clean. On to the food... I ordered the Red, White, & Blue Slam. It consists of 2 blueberry pancakes, topped with fresh strawberries and whipped cream and drizzled with cream cheese icing. DELISH! It also came with 2 eggs, hash browns, and your choice of bacon strips or sausage links. My sister got the Banana Bread French Toast Slam and that was terrific too... I had to have a bite or two of hers :) Very surprised in the food, since last time I had been to a Denny's, it was just so-so. This definitely makes me want to visit again soon! read more

This must be one of the worst run Denny's. A thirty minute wait on a Sunday morning, not because it was full but because the cashier (slow motion) also had to seat unless a server has nothing to do. And the whole time no sign of a manager or anyone even acknowledging a line out the door and tons of tables empty. And no soap in the mens' room...so their males employees wash their hands how? Definitely should not stop here is you are thinking you will grab a quick breakfast. It took 48 minutes from the time we ordered till we got our food. Waited another 10 min after that to get our toast although the place was a third full. They got busy once we were getting ready to leave . Usually clean, the food is usually exactly how you expect it. Relatively quick for food unless it's very busy. One complaint is the really late crowd... on Saturday nights or Friday nights it's best to avoid if you see the parking lot 'kicking' it with a very young loud crowd that seem to take over the parking lot. I don't feel safe when I see that. read more

I eat here every blue moon. The food is pretty good. I never had a complaint with my food. The service is good. Friendly waiters/waitresses. He ordered his medium rare,it was medium well, mine was cooked correctly as well done, both of them were tender on the short side, however both were a bit tough on the side with most of the meat. I dine at Denny's very infrequently. However, when one is out on the interstate and one's options are depressingly similar at every off-ramp (McD's, BK, Hardees, KFC, etc.) seeing Denny's pop up on one of those information signs is actually kind of welcome. At least they have an extensive and varied menu and one can sit down and eat at leisure in a place that is not built entirely of plastic and too brightly lit. This particular Denny's proved to be a lucky find. The staff, although a bit slow because they were short-handed (is that a thing with Denny's? I don't think i've ever been in one where the wait staff didn't apologize because someone went home early), were polite and friendly and very helpful with the menu. It is, to say the least, not the most vegetarian-friendly restaurant in the world but there are some good choices on the menu. I opted for a BYO (build your own) veggie burger on grilled potato bread with regular fries and an unsweetened tea. It was all good. The tea tasted freshly brewed. The fries were hot, not greasy, and were yummy considering they were industrial fries. The veggie burger was a large patty (probably Boca Burger) with spinach, grilled mushrooms, and tomato, on grilled potato bread (definitely the right choice over a hamburger bun). It was hot off the grill and very filling. The cost of all this was less than $11 and change. They give me a free tea refill to take with me on the road and wished me a pleasant journey. For interstate food this was pretty damn good. The staff were great. The restaurant was spotless. It's less than a block off the freeway. Lucky find, indeed! read more
