I stopped by Biscuitville on my way to Maryland. We have had to stop to get gas and I saw the long line so I knew I needed to try. I had been talking about it since I've been, so on my way back down to Atlanta I had to bring my family and stop one more time. I made sure to ask if they were only in the DMV area it was told yes that it is a local chain. I got the skinny biscuit which is a biscuit with your choice of eggs and how you want them cooked cheese and your choice of meat but with the middle of the biscuit, taken out. when I tell you these fast food chains across the country cannot compete, I mean it! This is the best breakfast I have had in a long time that was it from my own kitchen. This one does not have a lot of reviews, so I made sure to show them love. Everyone was so friendly and they have everything on the meat you could imagine from biscuits and gravy to hash brown casserole, and even cheese grits! Not only do they have coffee and assortment of drinks, but they have homemade lemonade and strawberry lemonade, which are my favorites. There is even a biscuit window and you can see the dough being rolled by hand. Make sure to ask for shell eggs! If I am ever back in the area, I know where I will be having breakfast for sure Plus, they make fresh dog biscuits (no different than three ones we're eating) and my pup loved them!

Heading back home to Atlanta, my cousin rerouted us to hit Biscuitville on the way!! Well...what a perfect plan. The drivethru line was crazy so that made me excited!! We went inside and there were quite a few people enjoying their food in the dining area. The menu boasts a lot of different breakfast options, such as pancakes, waffles, and such....but I came for the namesake! While I waited for my food, I was able to watch the "Biscuit Show" which was cool! My grits were creamy and cheesy. My sausage biscuit sandwich was buttery, moist, sausage cooked well...I would love if we had one in Atlanta!! #RerouteMe

I was wanting breakfast before I headed out to Staunton River, VA State Park. I searched Google and Yelp and really, ya'll need help in this area. Either that or you, for real, don't have many choices in the area. Let me say. Creamed Chipped Beef Gravy should be on EVERY breakfast menu in the South and when I put Chipped Beef Gravy in both, Google And Yelp, it pulled up everything, even Subway. It was depressing. So ok. Most interesting thing I saw was Sunrise Biscuit. Henderson North Carolina. I was about 40 min out? Ok.....let's go. My Yelp directions had me in circles. I changed to Google. Had to pull over couple times to refresh my directions. I finally arrived. It's a tiny little place. Rutted out parking area. I smacked my head and went on in. No line when I was there. 3 people. I ordered bacon egg and cheese biscuit, and gravy on the side, plus a large coffee. Order was called. Chef confirmed. Order of side gravy was yelled out for reconfirmation, Chef said I got it. Order up. My bacon egg and cheese biscuit had seen better days. A Lotta bacon! Though my egg was offsides and hanging on for dear life. It took me 1/2 a sugar jar to reach even near the level of flavor I like. That's because the coffee was a confirmed LARGE!!! I loved it. Thank you! I sat inside to eat, while mostly everyone else was to go. I enjoyed watching the customer's experiences. Everyone was nice. Regarding my food, my biscuit was not fluffy with some glistening grease. More-so, it stuck to my teeth and had to wash it down my throat with the coffee. Glad it was a large. My gravy.... my gravy was in a thimble compared to the rest of my meal. I had to giggle. It was good. I wasn't mad at all. My bill was less than $7. It stuck to my gut and was a great experience. I wont forget it! Thanks!!!

Was nothing special but was well prepared and tasted good. Biscuit was also very good. Coffee was coffee and was good too. Only bad part was the hashbrown. Its like the ones you get from Macdonald's. That in itself isn't the issue though. It tasted horrible from old grease in the fryer. I did notice no one else while I was there got anything fried. Locals know best! Staff is friendly and food was quick. I would go back just wont order anything fried!

First off, this spot is cozy and rustic, from the antique wooden bar to the brick walls and Turkish lights and carpets. We were immediately greeted and while our host started to escort us to a table, we asked if we could sit at the bar. Of course, was her reply. We took our seats and Melissa came out to give us menus and take our drink order. We went in thinking of sharing a small pizza so I was looking for a glass of red wine to accompany it. I asked Melissa for a glass of Cabernet, but they didn't have any. She told me what they did have and I asked for a small taste of the blend which she happily provided. It was good, so I decided to have a glass. We asked for her recommendations as it is always fun to get the staff's opinion on menu items and she replied that everything is good, but she especially likes the Australian Chicken. We asked about the pizzas and she recommended the George's special and told us we would love it. Sold (although I would really like to go back and try the chicken). The pizza was delivered hot, fresh and flavorful. Toppings included pepperoni, sausage, ground beef, onion, green pepper and mushrooms. The ratio of sauce on the pizza was just perfect and so tasty. Toppings still had that slight crisp that I love. The crust looked a bit thicker, but was not. It was crunchy outside, but had a wonderful softness to the inside that I loved and a great flavor. Usually, I discard crusts, but I munched on these. We were offered Parmesan and red pepper flakes. Those red pepper flakes packed some heat! We had the best experience thanks to Melissa and the delicious food! I hope that we have an opportunity to come back in the short week we are here.

We were there to meet an old friend so we mostly just talked. However, our waitress made sure our drinks were topped off and our every need was met.
