This place needs to work on their time it takes to serve food. I understand that it can get busy at times, but waiting at the table for almost an hour and a half is ridiculous. I honestly dont even know why I waited that long. The waitress got us our drinks and told us the other waitress would be there shortly to take our order. It was getting to a point where we were getting desperate for our food and we insisted on having someone take our order. It was almost 45 mins that had gone by and no one stepped foot on our table. We asked and still the same response was given, "they'll attend you shorty". At that time we figured we should just get up and leave. That is exactly what we did, we obviously payed for our drinks and left. Not one employee said a word to us to show they are sorry for making us wait so long. Overall, this place is delicious and I love coming here all the time. I'm sure this has not only happened to me, but to others too. Last night my family and I dined at the Denny's in Hanford, CA and we had exceptional timely service from our server Brendon. Immediately after being seated we noticed a young man working hard, helping customers seated at table, booths and the counter. He was getting coffee, bringing out drinks, taking orders, clearing tables and delivering prepared food to his guests. This kid was working his butt off. We visit this location often as it is right off the freeway, easy to get to, offers a military discount and the staff are always friendly. Good job Brendon, keep up the good work that you are doing for this Denny's location. The Manager on duty this evening was Jessy - good job goes out to you as well for training your personnel correctly to ensure they are delivering top notch customer service in a timely fashion. My husband and I come to Dennys a lot as I am a hug fan of the chocolate lava cake and seasoned fries. Although we usually only order deserts and small sides, we are usually waiting at the door for a few minutes and after we have been sat, it takes a server about 5 minutes to come even ask what we would like to drink. The servers are all very friendly but MOST never seem to be working together. Last night we had Sarina Z as our server for the first time and our experience could not have been better. She was fast, friendly, and just overall good at her job. Not once did we have empty cups on our table. Not once did we have to ask for anything. It's like she knew what we needed and when LOL. We will definitely be coming back and requesting that Sarina be our server. Awesome job, girl! read more

Went in Monday morning to a packed house at Dennys but was quickly greeted by the hostess who sat us almost immediately. Despite how busy it was I was I was quickly served by a young man named Isaac he took my order and had my drinks back so quick I couldn't believe it considering he had so many tables also attending too. He and another young man were taking care of every table in there and working together. The other young man Juan came and delivered my food for me to get me my food hot he said and almost right after Isaac came back to make sure my food was to my liking and everything I asked for. My husband asked me out to breakfast this morning so we arrived at the Hanford Location. The server assigned to us was very nice and always asked if we needed anything. The food was taking a while but not nothing out of an ordinary busy afriday morning. My 1 year old began to be fussy because she wanted her meal. Server Isaac was kind enough to offer a snack for her while the food arrived. Isaac was also kind enough to make small talk to her and assured her food would be out shortly. Over all the experience was great and we will be nack to this location with out a doubt. Isaac sure does know how to make customers feel comfortable and you can tell he is a people person right away. God words can't explain how much I used to love Denny's. The only times I went to Denny's was at like 12:00 and I was a usual and it was just amazing. I would always order cheesecake and water. The cheesecake is absolutely magnificent and life changing. The water is really good too it's not AS cold as i'd like but everything else makes up for it. Also the fries are a side me and my fellow dudes and the fries are great and an amazing side for the cheesecake. Absolutely amazing. They did hire somebody named Brianna and I haven't gone back since. maybe i'll find out what times and days she works so i can go back when she's not there. This visit i got the chick burbun dinner & it's amazing! I love that our fav cook came out to ask me if I still wanted the mushrooms in it since she knows I always get no mushrooms on my food! I didn't even realize they were in it! but I do love the fact that she took the time & attention to detail to come & confirm with me! Our visits food n serv was great, it always is, but not sure why the restaurant was so hot inside! I think everyone, including the staff seemed to be suffering from the lack of AC! We didn't even get desert because the heat was so uncomfortable to sit in any longer, so boxed it up n left. Also not sure what is going on with all the cats outside!They are literally everywhere! Jessica started today at 7, we came in at 8. Her eyes were bright and ready for the day ahead. She greeted us with heart, I'm glad we came in this early and she was our waitress. Her service is spectacular!!! Our cup of Coffee was always full. I'm still sipping on my last cup while writing this, The food was hot and delicious .. (I had the grand slamwich and my mother had 55+ veggie omelet) if I'm not a trade magician, I sure was today because I made it disappear. My group plays d&d every Saturday. We occupy a corner booth and try to behave. None of our individual homes could accommodate the claustrophobics in our group. This is our go-to spot because of it^_^ . Usually our service is reasonable, but with so many other customers in the restaurant my cups often dont get filled. I understand, but tonight the service was exceptional, even with so many people, our server Brendan never let my cups go empty! I'm peculiar about things like not getting margarine on my toast as well, enough so that I would assume he'd be unhappy with me or my group, but he was cheerful with us all! My best friend Baylie and I frequent this Denny's a lot. We go at least once a week, if not twice. The thing that keeps us coming back, besides the fact it's one of the few 24hr places in town, is the service our favorite waitress, Jasmine, provides. Jasmine makes our midnight dinners so much fun, cracking jokes with us while tending to our every need. She has an unbelievable sense of urgency and keeps the rest of the team on their toes when they're slacking off. She's even bothered to memorize our orders down to the pink sugar packets Baylie puts in her iced tea. Someone ought to give that hard-working woman a raise! If not, at least leave her a decent tip because she 100% deserves it. read more

My husband and I went to this location for a Saturday breakfast. Their outdoor dining set up is by far the best set up we have seen a Denny's offer during the covid-19 restrictions. You can tell they put a lot of thought and time into their outdoor area. And the food and service was great! Our server Jessy-E was on point with her customer service, coffee refills, and keeping our table clear of empty plates. And she was busy because all her tables were taken and this didn't seem to affect her good service. We frequently like to stop by Dennys when we are traveling. The food is usually acceptable and the prices are reasonable. Saturday we stopped by the Dennys in Hanford. We have noticed that this Dennys is always packed. What dally made this visit exceptional was our server, Angela. She greeted us quickly, took our orders and immediately served us our drinks. She filled my husband's coffee frequently. it was always hot, just the way he liked it. The best part of our Visit on Christmas Day 2021 was Stephanie H Our server. She made our dining experience exceptional with her personality and care in delivering our food and so much more. This Denny's has without a doubt the best server I have ever had the pleasure of having. She is a server by the name of Nila and has been a server here for as long as I can remember and she has always been the best of the best. She is attentive, quick, nice as can be. She has a stellar memory and remembers the tiniest details from her customers. She is so good a server that we have waited up to 20 minutes to be served by her. She is loved by all her frequent customers and is often asked for by name because she is the best of the best. Definitely an 11/10. Oh and the food is also delicious as well. read more

Amazing service, and great food. While on the road, Denny's has become one of my favorite breakfast locations. The service of this particular location really stands out. City is the name of the server I've had the last two days. She is extremely polite, and although under the mask, she has an amazing smile shining through. It's rare to find locations where people still have a passion for their jobs, and express that passion to the customers. We went to this location and they had one side of restaurant almost completely filled up. The other side empty. I asked if we could be seated in the empty side due to the noise level on the other side (I had a migraine). Theresa, our Server, was kind and spoke to her manager about allowing us to be seated in the other side. It was really kind of them to allow us to and am grateful. My server was Lynette and we were having a meal after visiting my husband in the hospital. I was so tired and stressed. Our server was so nice and understanding. She kept our drinks coming without asking, when they got low there was another sat in front of us. This was probably one of the best Dennys restaurants I've been too, the service was nice, the waiters were very friendly, and the food was amazing! The only thing I was upset about was that when we were seated at our table there were no silver ware, when our coffee got brought to us that's when we got or forks,spoons,and knives. Other than that everything was excellent. Our waiter Jaden was very polite and fast with anything we wanted.
