We go to this Dennys once a week. Katie R is the best server! She anticipates our needs and is very quick to respond. She is welcoming and friendly. We hope she is our server every time. This Dennys is also clean and does a great job with the orders. We like this Denny's a lot! read more

Katie R. took great care of us! Best experience we've had at a Dennys in years. The service was great and the food was fresh and hot.

We have been there 2 Monday mornings in a row. The food was very good and our waitress/hostess Katie, was the Absolute Best!! We actually went back there in hopes she was working. And she was. Very personable and very good at the attention she gives her customers. read more

Shockingly bad. do not go to this restaurant. Waited nearly an hour to get our food and when it came, it was burnt and simultaneously also undercooked. Whoever is working in the kitchen was 100% incompetent. read more

I ordered a lumberjack breakfast and the only thing not burnt was the eggs and toast. Toast wasn't hardly toasted at all. The server was nice but I can't believe she even brought that food to me. I expect better than that at the dennys in Glen Carbon!! I have honestly only been to one Dennys that was good but that's in Litchfield. Guess I'll start driving the 50 miles if I want Dennys food. read more

Great Sunday breakfast, very nostalgic, and large variety of food. Our server Katie was very accommodating and kind. It was a bit cold in the dennys though read more

My Order Number is: 408340 5/5/25 I was visiting the Glen Carbon, IL location to use a Mother's Day Free Dessert Coupon; this was the sole reason for placing an Order. Upon checking my order as I exited the restaurant; I saw that the Cheesecake I ordered was missing the Strawberries and Whipped Cream. There were several employees standing around talking when I returned to the front counter to report the error. A girl who just arrived to work then asked me who took my order...... What difference does it make who took my order; my order was wrong? Your staff needs to be trained to fill orders correctly; there were two tables being occupied in the entire restaurant; very dissatisfied; horrible service. The rating should be Zero read more

Excellent service from Katie which made our dining experience so pleasant. She is truly an asset to your company Thank you Toni Maguire

Our food is always great, but what sets this place apart is Faith. She is absolutely wonderful. Attentive. Courteous. Just an awesome employee. She makes us feel at home and provides fantastic service! read more

Food was great. Server Katie R very attentive and prompt. Kudos to the Dennys Edwardsville team for turning this breakfast staple around!

I highly recommend coming to Denny's at 27 Junction Drive in Glen Carbon, IL. The staff is friendly and fast (even despite being short handed on New Year's Day). The food was delicious and prepared accurately according to my request for modification due to dietary restrictions. It has a comfortable atmosphere for conversations, is very clean, and very kid- friendly with a guaranteed win-a-toy $1 arcade game and seasonal coloring pages to entertain little ones while they wait. Our waitress, Katie, was very attentive and helpful. read more

Me and my friends went here for some breakfast this morning. The food was good but the server was not attentive to us at all, she took forever to get us refills and it took a while for all of our food to come out. She told my friend she would bring her toast and never did until my friend had asked for it. By the time we got it, we had already eaten all of our food. Other than this it was a nice environment. read more

Tabatha was the absolute BEST!!! She was very patient and considerate. I received my omelet with the wrong cheese ( very small) Tabatha didn't ask if I wanted to send it back she just took care of it. The omelet was just as amazing as the service. I also appreciated chatting with the new GM. Very friendly and personable. I live on the St. Louis side but will be back soon. Lisa read more

Tabitha was our server and made our dining experience awesome! Always love the pancakes and customer service

Food was okay but the bathrooms are disgusting. There was mold everywhere, the stall doors are warped, wet paper on the floor. Ick

Had a good breakfast, but our server Melanie is the kindest person with just an awesome smile and great attitude. I don't usually leave reviews but would come back here for breakfast anytime I knew she would be my waitress... read more

The Dennys in Edwardsville IL is terrible. My family and I waited for our food for over an hour only to be told our food my still frozen. I was speechless. read more

Ordered an order for curbside pick up via the phone number provided. Showed up to pick up my order, seems that "nobody took my order at this location". Manager puts me on hold and employees in the background talking bad about how I'm wrong and didn't place an order at this location. Went inside and turns out the phone ordering sets up for a later time. I'm sitting inside now for my order that they apparently never ordered but they somehow found later and employees continue to speak loudly about how "I asked her if she scheduled for an order". Rude employees and horrible customer service. Do better. read more

Served my breakfast cold and didn't offer to fix it.ended up going to jack in the box instead.

I came in today and sat at a small booth right in front of the kitchen window . It was busy and the manager had to be asked to go help cook when he went back didn't even wash his hands and had no gloves on and was eating back there and licking his fingers. The server and the cook did awesome as it was busy but i made sure to let my server i didn't want him cooking my food . Food was delicious but they need to get new management. He came out trying to make excuses and talk to me. I regularly come in and this was just disgusting. Please get new management read more

As a driver that comes here somewhat often, I would highly recommend not coming here for pickups. I walk in, the lady tells me it will be a minute for the pickup ( i was like ok, no problem). Then we I sit down near the counter where all the waitresses walk pass, NOT one of the others stopped and asked me what I was waiting for. (you'd think they'd give me a menu by this time) NOTHING!!! They take FOREVER EVERY TIME.. DO not pick up here if you are a driver as they simply will take almost 30 min for something so simple.. read more

It was mediocre at best. Their "pumpkin pancakes" have no pumpkin just some pumpkin spice a total disappointment. Since they don't bother to clean the grill my pancakes were coded in burnt food from other people's orders because the chefs here too lazy to clean the grill. Burnt food sticks to pancakes and makes them taste like shit fellas. Destiny was sweet but the filthy grill evidence all over my pancakes Tells me that if the grill is this dirty the rest of the kitchen is a toilet. Don't eat here. read more

Came here on a Friday evening, around 10:30 PM. Half the restaurant was closed off and not many tables seated in the place. There seemed to be only one server who appeared to struggle to maintain the few tables she had. The cook in the back yelled at my group (4 of us) and another one waiting that someone would be with us. 15 minutes passed and no one showed and their seemed no sense of remote urgency, as if the server was hoping we would leave. I've worked in the restaurant business for many years. It's not difficult, seat the customers and tell them you will be with them. Most people understand if you're busy but don't blatantly ignore people, not communicating anything, hoping they will leave! Had flashes of us not getting any refills and food taking a very long time. Bad service before being served. Been here one other time and it was not a great experience. Food took a long time then and I was hoping it was an off night. Came back tonight to give it another chance. The staff seem very disorganized and employees need better training. Will not be back. Too many other places in the area to go to, where you can get better service. Don't waste your money. The bad reviews are accurate. read more

I'm updating my review from a year ago. NOT happy at all. New staff and cooks. Will NOT be eating here again for a long while. We waited over 45 mins to get our food. Mind you, there were only two other tables besides us. They were more worried about getting the takeout done then the customers inside. Wait staff was absolutely horrible. In and hour and a half she came to the table 3 times. She did do a drive by with a cup of water for one person at the table. Horrible Horrible Horrible read more

Love this dennys!! Staff is so amazing! Food is always great, atmosphere is amazing! Best Denny's in the area!

I had breakfast. food was served very quickly. it was also cooked to perfection as I ordered it. Tabitha my server was excellent. She was continually coming by checking to see if I needed anything. It was a great experience. This Denny's is far better than most other Denny's restaurants. read more

How you up charge for fruit you can't eat cantaloupe and cant get just a omelet, food was good as well as service

We stopped in last night February 8th, 2019 to see how things are going and to grab a bite to eat. The food was fair but their cook over does the pepper. My gravy was loaded with pepper and so was my cream corn. Tell him you can add pepper but you can't remove it. My chicken fingers also were lashed with pepper. I went to bed with an upset stomach because of the extreme pepper on all of my food except my bread. I am going to have to pass on Denny for awhile. I will check back in a couple of months and see if your cook has cut back on the pepper. I would love to give Denny's more stars but the cook needs to learn that people many times like to add their own pepper and salt. That is why it is on the table. read more
