Worst food at any Denny;s I've ever had. Food was cold. fried egg was hard despite my asking for it to be 'basted.' Hash browns were over cooked and the rest of the meal tasted like slopbout . My sister made ann excuse for them saying maybe the regular cook wasnt there. I don't give a rat's butt about that. I should never have even paid for that awfull meal and am sick of the excuses that people put up with for such bad food. I don't expect that much from a Denny's but the food should be well cooked and hot. Period. If it i not they have no business serving it. Shame on them. To spend 20 bucks with tip on a meal like that was ridiculous and I will not do it again. read more

First cup of coffee was cold; second was hot. Soda machine was out. Luckily the water tasted OK - not good, but OK. Milk was good. The ceiling panels around the vents are particularly dark and dirty which you don't really want to see. Cups and silverware were clean. Breakfast orders that were supposed to have bacon and sausage came out with just bacon because they were out and thought we wouldn't notice? Only told us when we asked. I told them at checkout that we were unhappy with the food, and the response was basically, "oh, sorry". Won't return. read more

My review and stars are based on food quality and service. The place is in the process of renovation just like many Dennys' lately so yes, it does look run down and a bit sketchy. A friend and I plus 2 kids ate here and left with a great experience. The waitress was polite and on top of things. We had been driving for hours and needed coffee to go. She filled our thermo for our trip back to California. The food was pretty good. My kids expressed that the scrambled eggs were yummy. My friend who is vegetarian ordered the veggie skillet and all though it took forever to arrive she was satisfied with the result. The gentleman who took care of me at the register was polite, fast and showed concerns about our meal. So overall, putting the renovation to the side, it was a great experience. read more

Don't go to Deming New Mexico Denny's if traveling. Waited 1 & 1/2 hours for 2 omelets, which were good, once we got them. Then another 5 min for English muffin , another 5 for the other. A cook didn't show and kitchen was in chaos! Told Charlie we were leaving, then got our food 5 min. later. All in all a bad day for wait staff. read more

Very slow service, worst Denny's I ever had meal, manager very cocky and rude, waited 45 minutes for club sandwich the fries were cold ,when I complained not only he wasn't apologize, he had an attitude. Will never go back , if I was the boss I would fire him . Garbage read more

Was in town just for the night. It was fairly late and we ere hungry so stopped In Denny's as this was all that was open. What a mistake that was! We were there for almost 2 hours. I don't expect 5 star service from a place like this but I expected some kind of service. When taking my order, I said "may I have..." and was told "no you can not." There were at least 3 other tables that came in AFTER is that got their food way before we did, even though we had already ordered. We had to ask multiple times for simple things like creamer, refill, etc. Next time if this is the only option I will just stay hungry. read more

When you go to Denny's, you know what to expect. This location was no exception. The food was delicious, fresh and hot. The service was very impressive. They were very busy but sat us right away. Our server was named Josh. A polite, friendly young man. He was attentive even though they were so busy! This was one of my best Denny's experience. read more

I find it very difficult to come here anymore, the I last 4 times I've been in here it's taken an extremely long time to get our food and two of those times it took forever just to get a server to take our order. IHOP is marginally better, but only because it doesn't take as long. Usual the good is great once you finally get it, it seems maybe they're always too busy for the kitchen to be able to support the volume of diners. Service is typically friendly, just frustrating how long it takes. I reserve going here to only when everywhere else is closed. When they aren't busy it seems a lot more reliable. read more

Being as everything in this town closes at 7 or 8, this was a last resort around 9 on a Friday night. Apparently it was everyone else's last resort too, because they were kind of busy. We were only staying the night while passing through to Texas. The food itself was great, but our service was pretty slow. The dude in the front wearing the purple button you could tell was very good at juggling a lot at once and easily corrected a mistake on our bill. We were only checked on once for drink service. The employees looked like they were running around with their heads chopped off, even though they weren't even packed. Aside from that the food was good, but it did take a while to get to us. read more

No one expects fine dining here, but that is no excuse for poor service, a long wait and cold food. This morning, around nine am, while traveling through, we made a stop here. The place was about 1/3 full. We weren't offered drinks for about 10 minutes. No refills offered. Eggs, bacon and toast were served about 20 minutes later, all of which were​ cold. When Traveling from Palm Springs to San Antonio Texas we stopped in at the Dennys late on Saturday night in Deming NM as we saw some Great Reviews. Walked in and was immediately greated by Jaime and asked him for a booth, said just a minute as the place was very busy for a late Saturday night. Went and found a booth that needed cleaning as took care of it right then. Walked us to it and than asked us what we would like to drink and processed to get our drinks and bring them to us with our menus, Along than comes over Elinor with a Big smile and asked us how we where doing. Gave us a few minutes than came and took our orders again she loved her job and taking care of her Customers. We placed our orders and the food was delivered in a very timely manner due to them being very busy. Quality and prep was outstanding as what to expect at a high end restaurant. While staying in Deming, we dined at this Restaurant and found it was an excellent place to eat. The food was good and the price was right. The staff was exceptionally friendly and courteous but I must make mention of two of the servers Erlinda and Sceselee. Their service was phenomenal. Although the restaurant was busy, these two servers found the time to make sure that we were not neglected and that we had everything that we needed. I cannot express enough good things about them. Denny's should be proud that they have them as employees. read more

In my 32 years of existence I have never had such horrible service. We walked into Denny's #6890 at approximately 915am. We were greeted and seated upon entry. Josh C 5011 was our server. He took our drink order, 2 waters and a coffee. After 10 minutes our drinks arrived he then proceeded to take our order, 2 All American Slams. We proceeded to wait approximately 25 minutes for our food. This wouldn't had been an issue if the restaurant was busy, it was about a quarter full. When he delivered our "warm" food to the table he asked if we needed anything else, we didn't at that time. That was the last time we saw him until he brought our checks and still didn't ask if we needed anything. If he was paying attention he would have noticed the empty coffee cup and the toast that hadn't been touched because we didn't have any preserves on the table. He would have known all of this if he would have checked on us after he dropped our food off. read more

Just had dinner @ Denny's. Must have been remodeled, because it was very nice inside. Good food, quick service and the waitress kept refilling my drink. I could not ask for more. I believe some of the other posts must be old. read more

Service, cleanliness and food all subpar. Hated to give one star. Our table had had chocolate milk spilled by prior customers. The table and floor was sticky. Had to ask them to clean it twice. Trash stuck to the bottom of my shoe. Had to get up and get my own coffee. Our order took forever; we were a party of two and guests that were seated after us by 10minutes had their food before ours. A table of six with 4 children received their food at the same time we did although arrived later than us. When food arrived pancakes were cold, hash browns cold, raw bacon. As I watched the servers separating tables where a large party had sat, they cleaned the tables but ignored trash all over the floor. I recommended before the next customers were sat their they should sweep floor. A young girl came around asked if everything was ok; said no explained. She seemed disinterested and said I'll take the pancakes off, when our meals should have been comped. Bathroom was dirty. Enough said. read more

I was in Deming recently visiting some family and before heading home we stopped at the Denny's. The place was packed. However, as soon as we walked in we were greeted by the hostess and manager and we were immediately seated. The entire seating area was well lit and the table we sat at was perfectly clean. The waitress was friendly and quickly came over to take our drink orders and within moments she was already back. We had already decided what we wanted and when she came back with the drinks she was readily available to take our order. I had decided to try the slow cooked pot roast. Our waitress told us that it was one of her favorites then she finished the rest of our order and even though it seemed incredibly busy, our food was out in roughly 5 minutes. It was well cooked and nice and hot. Everything was delicious and our waitress stopped by often enough to see how we were doing. To top it all off our order was less than 20$ for two of us. The experience as a whole was wonderful. Will definitely be returning. read more
