WARNING: 40 mins for two burritos and an egg plate with 2 eggs, hash brown and à sausage Patty?? I was really excited to go to this place after seeing pictures of the food and some of the other reviews on yelp but when we arrived there were almost no other customers.. just one couple who already received their food. From what we could see there were 3 people in the kitchen. It looked like 2 cooks and a manager. There was also a 4th person at the front counter. We ordered two burritos and an egg plate that contained two eggs, hashbrowns, and a sausage patty. We waited 40 minutes for the food. Great place to stop by for food/snacks while you are on a long stretch of drive along the interstate..middle of nowhere in NM! Apache Homelands is just off I-10 and is open 24/7 (they offer full menu 24/7 as well..not sure how they make that happen!), so it's a good place to stop by to rest, fill up some food/snacks and just a mental break off the road. The ladies who work there are so kind, poliye and sweet. They try to help you in any way they could. The place is also very clean..including the bathroom as well! I learned from my Airbnb host that originally this place was meant to be built for casino...but..somehow the deal fell thru..so they had to turn it into this type of convenience/food shop instead. The place is a little hard to find with no obvious sign (plus it sits right into the deadend of the road..so people can easily miss it or not know what the building is there for). I have no complaints though! I hope that this place does well and survives. It has nice, clean facility and great staff. Very hard to xome by these days! read more

I never write bad reviews. Indian taco was blah. Beans weren't cooked all the way. Salsa tasted like it was from a can or jar. 2 orders of fries were in one go plate and looked like 1 order. Lady helping us didn't really seem polite or like she wanted to be at work. I have stopped here a few times and always during hours where the restaurant wasn't open. This was the first and last time I eat here. The location has so much potential if it was freshly prepared food instead of tasting like it was from a bag or box and heated up. read more

Nice stop off I10 construction being completed. Excellent Navajo taco, ground beef, beans,cheese, lettuce, and tomato. Fry bread is delicious, not greasy. The customer service is friendly and helpful. Parking will be excellent for trucks,RVs, autos, and anything else. CC accepted. read more

Nice place for stopovers and break from long drive. They have a little exhibit in the side of the restaurant. The staffs are very friendly. The convenient store have great local novelty and souvenir sections. They serve the Indian taco and it was delicious. read more

I did not realize this was a resturant,until after about 2 months of driving past. It does not look like much on outside,but on the inside is extremely clean,delicious food.People who work here are extremely nice....It is 24 hours dirt lot but allows truck parking which is a plus...I will stop here again,it beats a Loves or Pilot anyday read more

Had a blowout on my way to Arizona and stopped here to wait for the tire guy. I was blown away that they're open 24/7 and that includes their restaurant. The store is super clean and the staff is very helpful and friendly. They're adding a fuel island and another restaurant. There is a lot of construction going on. Hopefully they keep all of their standards in running the bigger place because this store is a gem in the I-10. read more

This place is open!! It's being extended which means it looks like a construction site. But the cafe is open. I had the best Patty Melt and my partner had a great burger with cheese, tomato, bacon and lettuce. All of it prepared fresh while we waited. Thr restrooms are either new or newly painted, and very clean. I highly recommend trying this place. Exit 102 on I-10 between Las Cruces and Deming. read more

They sale Cigars in their very own smoke shop, they sale jewelry, salsas and spices! Please read the history of the Apache on the story birds places on the wall! Delicious pies and brownies to go! Please be kind and tip the woman! Definitely coming back to do our 34 (truck drivers) and a little wine collection and they sale beer! It's also a store'! Car broke down in the freezing cold and this place was the only thing close by. I was so surprised to how friendly the lady's were and how good the breakfast was. Nothing else is around the area and I thought I was going to freeze to death but they had hot chocolate and heater on and allowed me to stay as long as I needed. We've been coming here for years. The ladies that work here are awesome. They're always warm and friendly and very accommodating. The food is always great and made fresh. Everything on the menu is great, and they will even try to come up with vegan options for you. Amazing desserts. They have a variety of great wines. I love the Plum Loco wine personally. If you are a smoker they have great prices on cigarettes and cigars. Plenty of parking for trucks, RVs, etc. Clean restrooms. I can go on and on. read more

My wife and I were on a road trip with a good friend of mine when we stopped for some food. Though this little place was tucked into a corner it was worth finding. Great food that was prepared on the spot and left us filled. And the people were so nice. We were the only customers at the time when we walked in and they jumped up and made us feel welcomed. They asked us questions about how much further we had to go and when they saw that such a big and filling meal had us ready for a food coma they asked which of us was driving next and gifted him a free coffee. As being a Native this place was very sad to visit. I came there to order native food and received it dried out and not able to eat it. It was very disgusting and I would never visit or order anything there again. The staff was very rude and not able to understand what the meaning of fresh food was. When I was waiting for them to return my money they replied well you have to pay for the stuff you did eat. Well ok but the only thing I was able to eat that they couldn't mess up was the cheesy tots. So yeah I will pay my damn 1.75 for the crap. Then the lady was behind the counter and said to the lady that brought out my food " I did notice her meat was dry and wasn't sure if I should of sent it out there"... Wow um ok so you knew the damn meat was dry but then u still send that nasty stuff to me, Thanks for no compassion about my food and serving me something that was fresh. The meat was dry so hard that is was like if it was dry dog food. Seriously if you know that you would not serve it to your family what makes you think you should serve it to a customer?????...... Well goes to show you they only think about their money they want to make and not the customers feelings and well what they eat either. I hope one day that they see why they barely have customers. And it is because you do not put them first. You could give me all the free food in the world and your place would still be disgusting to me. I have never be to such a sad place that was a restaurant that sold such bad under quality food... Glad that my home reservation restaurants know how to treat their people as well as all people well and that my Native peoples food is worth eating.
