Apache Homelands is just off I-10 and is open 24/7 (they offer full menu 24/7 as well..not sure how they make that happen!), so it's a good place to stop by to rest, fill up some food/snacks and just a mental break off the road. The ladies who work there are so kind, poliye and sweet. They try to help you in any way they could. The place is also very clean..including the bathroom as well! I learned from my Airbnb host that originally this place was meant to be built for casino...but..somehow the deal fell thru..so they had to turn it into this type of convenience/food shop instead. The place is a little hard to find with no obvious sign (plus it sits right into the deadend of the road..so people can easily miss it or not know what the building is there for). I have no complaints though! I hope that this place does well and survives. It has nice, clean facility and great staff. Very hard to xome by these days!

The space stayed pretty peaceful most of the time, so if you need silence to study, this is a solid find. I personally need a little more background chaos to keep my brain entertained, but that is very much a me problem. Because there is a service window on each side of the building, the required direction of travel was not self-evident. There were no other vehicles present and no visible signs, arrows, or pavement markings indicating one-way traffic. Nevertheless, the staff refused to take my passenger's order until I drove around and returned to the same window facing the opposite direction. That made the transaction unnecessarily awkward: my passenger had to speak through me, and I had to pass the payment and drink back and forth. A business may certainly establish a required traffic pattern, but customers cannot reasonably follow a rule that is neither posted nor marked--particularly when the building has service windows on both sides. We were not cutting a line or disregarding instructions; there was no line and no signage to disregard. The more courteous and practical response would have been to complete the transaction, then politely explain the preferred direction for future visits. The coffee is genuinely very good. Unfortunately, the required direction of travel is not marked. Adding signs--and allowing a little reasonable discretion when no other customers are waiting--would greatly improve the experience.
