On the way out we asked for their Manager, they said the server who was playing with a retractable toy car was the manager until we found out that was a lie. I realize it's been hard on all service industries to find good workers but for more than 2 years, this location has suffered. It takes average 45 min just to get food. We Walked In and has a decent size group, we were quickly seated and orders taken shortly after. I forget our waitress name she was blonde and extra patient with our Little's while ordering. So this is the closest Denny's to me that's open 24/7 (the closer one still closes on some days.). So I drove down and decided to have a meal, since I couldn't sleep. Was traveling to flagstaff with my family and we stopped by to have breakfast. First thing I see is a sign that says they are having issues with maintenance and staffing so room is limited. Walked in to 3 families in front of us, half the restaurant was not being used. Got in line to get on waitlist was initially told 1.5 hours but the host then a rude lady came from who knows where (the kitchen) and said and I quote, "oh no we can't serve them, it'll be 3 hours if not they can leave." Could have made a bigger deal but just walked out and starved. DO NOT RECOMMEND, unless you enjoy being treated like trash. 0 stars if possible. read more

Don't know what's going on here, absolutely zero sense of urgency at this location! Never staffed to handle any type of rush, ( Friday evenings, Sunday mornings, holiday mornings)! During the extended wait times waiting on your meal you can watch the cooks constantly rub their nose and hair with their gloved hands just to back to using those same gloved hands to prep your food! Food waits under the heat lamps waiting to be served, partial plates brought out, tables receiving half their orders and the other half show up after the others have had enough time to finish their meals! Staff standing around talking while people wait to be seated, table next to us asked for bacon to be finished more and never had it brought back, wait staff walked by it never once attempting to serve it! Kitchen staff randomly disappears while tables have been waiting 45+ minutes for their food! TERRIBLE SERVICE. The waiter Siri was definitely doped up or high on something, she forgot about us for 20 mins and then finally took our order for food. I think the initial experience was starting out alright as we were promptly seated but the service from then on was SLOW. I was literally starving along with my family and we just saw a bunch of waiters/waitresses standing around while plates and plates of food was stacked on the service window. Not sure why they didn't serve us as it was ready (no we didn't request to wait for everything to be ready) also they did bring out a salad for my father in law too so yea. Eventually we got our food and my steak omelette was basically half empty and the other half had some steak slices stacked inside. The hash browns weren't extra crispy like I had requested either. Lastly, I had to request multiple times for my coffee to be refilled (which is usually topped off quickly at other breakfast places). Our waitress was amazing. Her name is Echo and she was so efficient! We sat at the counter and had an excellent breakfast. The food was cooked to our preferences, the bacon and hashbrowns were crispy but nothing was over cooked. We loved the French toast, blueberry pancakes and American Slam. Echo even offered me a coffee to go! It's great to see such great service, especially when they were short staffed and had to leave many tables open because of too few servers.
