Denny's is what it is. I don't come here expecting 5 star service and I'm certainly not looking for gourmet food. With that being said, my cousin and I came here for some brunch at about 10 am on a Monday. There was no host to seat us, and we stood there for a good 5 minutes waiting. Honestly, I was about to give up and leave, but then a waitress came over and brought us to a booth. She was the only one on the floor, and she was doing everything, from seating customers to taking/bringing orders, to ringing up all the checks. I felt so bad for her for having to manage an entire restaurant. Nevertheless, our waitress was very good at multitasking. She had ten tables to manage, and somehow was able to keep our water and coffee cups full all while slinging orders and fulfilling customer requests left and right. The coffee was good, the juice was okay, and the food was decent (especially for the price!), although my hash browns were a little less brown than I liked. Management really needs to be less cheap and get another waiter or waitress on the floor, as that would probably really improve the ratings on this place. read more

Came with family, party of 5. Ordered multiple entries and all you can eat pancake. The third round pancake came with (like more than 15mins). A busboy collected our forks and plate even I told him we still have order coming. I wonder If I can give NO star. read more

Had breakfast here around 11AM. There were quite a lot of people being served. The French toast was great, but I'm not a big fan of sausages and bacon. The service was above average. I was seated right away. The waitress checked up on my table once in a while w/o being annoying. However, there was this one clown making those balloon figure things. I dislike clowns. The food is not that bad here, but the service is inconsistent. Our waiter was very good, but there were moments when he was in the back grabbing stuff and the guy who is wearing black in the picture was too busy chatting with his friends who came to eat. I asked him for help and he was pretty rude about it. Our server later came and the guy wearing the black is then seen playing video games. I'm pretty sure he was loafing while on the clock. THE FREE DESSERT CHECK IN OFFER DOESNT WORK!!!!!! I went there last night and ordered the food and noticed there was a check in offer. I showed it to the employee and said that they only take coupons in person and that yelp is not a valid offer and doesn't know why there company still leaves it there. Meh, it's a Denny's. I went there with my roommates for a brunch. It looked like the place was understaffed. Like 1 server to 20 or so tables. The place was packed with customers. Food was crappy, but I didn't expect much from Denny's. This place has a parking structure so parking was not hard to get. My food was okay. Sort of dry, sort of burnt, all cold. Lots great people work here but the waitress Leticia needs to go. Every single time when we were here and Leticia was our waitress, she was absolute rude and horrible at her job. Instead of taking our order, she was playing with her daughter and grandkid and chatting with them at another table. When she finally came, she didn't t know the menu. When we asked questions, she would insist she was correct and say you can go ask the manager. Well isn't her job to ask the manager? So we asked for the manager, whom was very nice. Turned out Leticia was wrong. In the middle of ordering, Leticia used the menu to slap my seat all of a sudden, scared the heck outta me, turned out there was afly, and she kept slapping the seat. Didn't bring silverware, forgot an item we ordered, never refilled water. Worst of all is the horrible attitude. Other than that, this Denny's has great wait staff and good food. It's not Spagos and most Denny's restaurants are pretty much the same. You can get good food especially when on a budget. It's great to eat here after a long night of bar hopping because the food helps you sober up. They do need to remodel some of the booths and furniture because they are pretty worn out. The service from the wait staff is not bad. You get what you pay for and it's not necessarily a bad thing. read more

Came here for dinner today with my little brother and they really let us down. But I have to say, the service was really nice but a bit slow. I ordered the bacon bourbon burger and asked for no cheese but when I got my dish, it had cheese ): I didn't want to make a complaint cuhs they'd have to remake the burger so I just decided to eat it. The burger was pretty good but also really oily so I felt the grease in my stomach after that. Not very appetizing. As for my little brother, he ordered the philly cheese steak sandwich. He loved it and couldn't stop talking about it on our way home, he even had to mention how good the sandwich was before he went to bed! She's always been super sweet and made sure everything was nothing but great for our table. I would recommend the seasonal Cali burrito!. Just aheads up it can get pretty busy Sunday mornings. This Denny's offers the best and professional service. The food tastes good and I find peace being here and actually treated like a human being. Unlike the Resident in the Arts District in LA (horrible establishment), this restaurant is very welcoming and the employees here seem happier and act very nice towards their customers. This place is a decent place but they lack in service. They don't bother to ask for refills on water within a reasonable time and they don't even get drink orders. I ordered a drink and never even received it. Above it all, there was a long wait time and there was a lack in the decorum of the attendants. Around the night hours there are also people who are of questionable standing who show up and feel at home while my party was left waiting for their food and the place was not even half full. Recommend to find an IHOP instead or just eat at home. I am Not pleased with this place.
