Called Deniece last minute the evening before, to see if she could help us with our move out cleaning. She was quick to respond, super sweet and very accommodating. Deniece was able to help me out the very next day which was such a shock because, other companies wouldn't have been able to come out until next week. By the time she finished cleaning the house, she had done such an excellent job, that the house looked cleaner than when we first moved in. She is very personable and responsive to questions, concerns, and she also guarantees her work... a plus!! Allow me to begin by acknowledging that my failure to do my due diligence has contributed to my absolute displeasure with the services provided by Ms. Deniece. While she is extremely nice and has a very fun personality, her services left much to be desired. 1. My first mistake was selecting Ms. Deniece based solely on the referral of a friend for whom she performs occasional, light housekeeping services. I did not do my research or any comparative shopping. Bad move on my part; in haste, as I am trying to coordinate my move off island. I was just content to have my move-out cleaning scheduled pretty early in the process. 2. The day prior to our scheduled move-out cleaning appointment, I tried to confirm the time Ms. Deniece would be coming. We initially discussed 9/9:30 am. However, I needed to know an exact time since I'd be missing work for this appointment. When I texted her, she mentioned she was busy and would confirm the time later; after she was home. I never received a confirmation text in return. The morning of the appointment, about 8:45 am, I texted her asking what time I should expect her. No response. An hour later, I called. No answer. Thirty more minutes or so later, I received a text saying that she was getting ready to head my way. An hour and a half later, she still wasn't here. I texted again, asking her ETA. Nada. I called. I was sent to voicemail followed by a screenshot of the GPS map and ETA. Great. Very unprofessional, but I'd already missed an entire morning of work. I was just grateful she was coming at that point as I had already paid a $100 deposit and did not want to try to find someone else the day of my move-out inspection. 3. The cleaning was subpar. So many tasks were omitted that I cannot recount them all without getting upset all over again. Notably, the only products I think she brought were Clorox Cleanup and Oven cleaner. Not very reflective of a professional, but ok. Initially, I was glad that I had the Glass cleaner on hand; but despite having acquired the Glass cleaner, she did not clean any of the windows in the entire 2 bedroom condo. Not to mention, neither did she touch any of the 4 sliding glass doors except to access the lanai. 4. Deniece rushed through each of the rooms and I cannot say that she cleaned anything in either of the two empty bedrooms. Not even vacuum. She had a vacuum but I did not see her use it in any part of the condo. 5. Initially, when setting the appointment, I asked about carpet cleaning, but she told me that she did not provide that service so I scheduled another company to clean the carpet. I set that appointment for the late afternoon in anticipation of the housecleaning being completed. Unfortunately, she came so late that the carpet cleaner had to do the carpets while she was still cleaning. That made for an unnecessarily chaotic scene. 6. Unfortunately, I trusted that Ms. Deniece had done a thorough job despite my intermittent absences. However, post-cleanup, I found myself staring at streaked tile floors with bits of trash all over them, a microwave with food all over the inside, shelves carelessly placed about the refrigerator, unclean shelves in all of the upper cabinets and pantry, and the list goes on. I was even charged an additional $50 for her to sweep and mop the lanai, however she never swept (she had no broom) nor mopped the lanai. Instead, she swished some water all around and called it clean. Smh. Mind you, the house was basically empty so all of these tasks could have easily been accomplished. 7. My second mistake was paying Ms. Deniece without inspecting her work. With 2 hours before my move-out inspection, I had to reschedule it so that I could adequately complete the cleaning. I know I should have called her and asked her to return to clean the spots she overlooked but she bolted out of here so fast, I figured she must have had another appointment. Fortunately, the landlord did not charge me for an extra day for rescheduling the inspection. Ultimately, I paid $400 for Ms. Deniece to be here for less than 4 hours and it shows. I expected so much more and feel totally taken advantage of. However, like I previously stated, I recognize how my failure to exercise due diligence and closely supervise her work resulted in my supreme dissatisfaction. Again, Ms. Deniece is a very personable lady, but I do NOT recommend her for thorough move-out cleanings. Her services are best suited for light jobs requiring only surface cleanings. Save yourself the time and money and select any number of the other companies who offer the move-out cleaning in conjunction with the carpet cleaning and who have multiple stellar reviews on Yelp. Lesson learned, albeit an expensive one. read more

First of all, Deniece was quick to respond. She is a nice and hard working house cleaner, but i am very disappointed with her service. 1. She didn't clean blood spot because she didn't have gloves. Professional cleaner without tools... hmmm... 2. She forgot to clean the screen so i had to call her. She was nice enough to come back to clean it but not 100% clean. She never took them out to clean but just vacuumed i guess. She told me to take them out and clean eventually - i was speechless at this point. This is your job thats why i hired you, isnt it? 3. I also had to ask to clean baseboards again. She cleaned but were still not 100% clean. She was willing to solve the problems, but kept complaining how dirty those spots were. I was super excited to work with this company on a regular basis but had to cancel services altogether. Firstly, scheduled a time to come between 9-930am. Didn't hear any confirmation the night before so text to confirm. Turned out they didn't even have my address and changed the time to closer to 10. I agreed to time change and explained that I can only do a maximum of 3 hours. The day of the cleaning we set up the place ready to be cleaned, provided instructions on how to access the apartment and left in time for them to start at 10. Nobody text me back. I text at 1020 asking if they got in okay. Nobody text me back. I call. No answer. I then get a text at 1130 stating "my team was not able to gain access. I'm still waiting on details". We have been busying ourselves waiting to go back in the house by 1 and they're not even cleaning and didn't even tell us!!! They totally compromised our security because we left the door open for them. Terrible experience. Now I have to find someone us to clean last minute! read more
