We first hired him back when he was known as "Steve Beam Handyman," and it's been amazing to see him grow and expand his services with the launch of Denver Remodels Inc. Over the years, Steve and his team have tackled everything from small repairs (like anchoring heavy drapery hardware into our finicky plaster walls) to major renovations (like restoring the exterior of our 1908 Craftsman). One of our favorite projects was transforming our mudroom by removing a wall and building a custom breakfast nook. This was a complex project, but Steve's expertise and creativity shone through. He even suggested a design element in the booth walls that perfectly complemented the Craftsman lines of our home - it's those little details that make a huge difference. What we think truly sets Steve apart is his incredible craftsmanship, creativity, and his consultative approach. He takes the time to truly understand your vision and offers expert guidance throughout the design process. Whether you're tackling a small project or a major renovation, Steve's deep knowledge and experience are on display with every project he does. He's always there to answer questions, offer suggestions, and steer you in the right direction, ensuring that the final result is even better than you imagined. His team is equally fantastic - professional, efficient, and incredibly skilled. If you're looking for a reliable, knowledgeable, and truly exceptional remodeling experience in Denver, look no further than Steve Beam and Denver Remodels Inc. They're a standout and I'm so glad we found them.

All other things being equal (which actually was not the case with the bids) I liked supporting a local small business. Rafael was responsive via email and text. HOWEVER- I arrived at the final walkthrough at the scheduled time, and they were still not done clearing out their supplies. This was okay and I assumed more work would be done. When I returned to my home later that day I was appalled. There was brown liquid spilled on the cabinets and floors, paint spilled on the floors, stairs & countertops, outlet covers missing (still not found), painter's tape still stuck to the walls & baseboards, and sunflower seeds littered across EVERY single floor in the house (including the in the carpet and the bathtub). I am shocked at the way the house was left and how sloppy this was. This was not the condition that it was supposed to be left in. I had a showing the next morning so had to spend over 3 hours cleaning it. I contacted the manager about it and received a $275 discount. They did offer to come back over and "take care of these items" but I had no time to let them come back so I had to take care of it myself. For how much I paid to for this to be done I expected way more from this company. I will not be using this company again.

Damien was great, and I would wholeheartedly recommend him. What stood out: Professionalism: He walked through his plans for the repair on the initial estimate visit, and described what he thought the culprit was. He was also honest about what might cause more problems down the road. He showed up at his stated arrival time every day, did an excellent job sealing the work area, containing dust, and cleaning up/tearing down each day so we could more easily live in our home. While here, he worked consistently without taking a lot of breaks or doing constant trips for supplies. Skill: I can barely tell where the repairs were done on my ceilings, which are white, and the texture match he achieved/blending job appear excellent to me. Conscientiousness: My wife and I were working from home during the repairs, and had our dog there for one of the three days Damien was working. He let us know when it would be loud, and was very gracious about working around some of the meetings and calls I had. Damien was also fun to talk to and is very well traveled.
