We've been here quite a few times. Everything is always prepared correctly and is tasty. Garlic parm wings crispy are the best I've had. The sauce is soooo good we dip the pizza crust in it. Salads are fresh and crisp. They aren't over dressed and that's the best part. Pizza is always super hot and fresh. The crust is crispy but also doughy, great combination. The red sauce is certainly one of the better ones I've had, it's not tart or watery... a great thick consistency with awesome flavor. The side dishes are large and filling, they could be meals themselves. Drinks are strong but drinkable.... They are also priced fairly. The only negative is sometimes food takes a bit to come out, but we are not generally in a rush to get anywhere so it won't keep us from being repeat customers. Can't wait to try other things on the menu!

    Their fried dough strips.lol.

Staff very nice when you walk in greeter very pleasant. Bar like atmosphere loud it is spacious when you dine in decor is old you can tell this place has seen its depreciation met. Pizza was subpar quality fried dough more like cherros I think there called strips of dough not real Italian fried dough. I wouldn't go back unfortunately.

I've really come around on my previous opinion of DeMarco's. Years ago my mom used to get one of the 24 cut pizzas whenever there was a party and i was never that into it. I went for dinner once and thought that was just ok as well. But years later I was lured in with their Tues $10.99 Chicken Parm special. Now they are one of my go to places. The price has gone up a few bucks since then but it's still a great value especially since it includes salad and bread for take out or dine in. All their dressings are homemade and the parm peppercorn is the best you'll ever have. I have since ventured out and tried some other dishes. The Chicken Marsala and Pasta Carbonara are both fantastic but the carbonara is very rich. I suggest getting the calamari for an appetizer since it is nice and crispy and fresh. The portion is large also. The garlic cheese bread is another favorite of mine. The takeout is just as good as dining in and the wait time has been pretty quick compared to other places especially during the pandemic.

Ordered chicken Alfredo over fettuccine. I got this linguini over a pool of oil. Absolutely nasty.

I dropped into De Marco's Restaurant over the weekend for some dinner. De Marco's serves up Italian American cuisine including pizza, appetizers, salads, soup, wraps, sandwiches, Italian dinners, fajitas, steaks, seafood, kid's menu, and desserts (varies each day). Daily specials are offered. Dinners are served with soup or salad and Italian bread. The prices are fair, most items ranging $8.25-$14.99. This restaurant has very casual atmosphere. The pub area is very cozy with seating at the bar and a partitioned off with a more spacious, but small dining area (rows of tables & booths). The pub area has TVs at the bar and in the dining area and offers Quick Draw and a NYS Lottery scratch ticket machine. There's also a separate dining room beyond the bar area. I was seated at a table in the pub area and had a good view of several TVs at the bar and in the dining area showing college basketball and an NFL Playoff game. Several regular patrons were seated at the bar having a good time. I was eyeing the NY Pasta Pie ($11.99) on the menu, but I was told by my waitress that this dish was a baked casserole of pasta, cheeses, and pepperoni, which sounded greasy and very NY. I decided to go with the Meat Lasagna ($10.99) instead. I started out with a garden salad which was drenched in lots of Italian dressing, liked it! The decent Italian bread was served cold. The Lasagna took about 20 minutes to come out, since this dish was baked in the oven. The Lasagna was served very hot, a short stack of noodles, ricotta, & ground meat topped with a thick layer of mozzarella cheese & parsley sprinkles and lots of tomato sauce. Very good and not too heavy. Thumbs up! After dinner I was told the desserts vary daily, but they always have fried dough plus they also had fried cheesecake and apple fritters served with vanilla ice cream, and I went with the latter. The "mini" Apple Fritters ($4.50) were deep fried and served with chocolate sauce and strawberry sauce for dipping and a small serving of vanilla ice cream. The dipping sauces made this dessert pretty good and messy. Overall, I had a good meal while watching the playoffs and overhearing a few interesting conversations at the bar. I overheard some regulars discussing spots along Central Ave where the Colonie PD hide out to nab intoxicated bar patrons for DWI or "11-92" (code used by police in NYS). Advice: Instead "Do-Nut" - "Drink" (Coffee) and Drive! The service was fairly laid back, the waitress checking up on my table a few times since the dining area was empty. Good food & drink and good times!

    Libations... Pinot Grigio and Lambrusco!

Rosanna's -- A Genuine Gem That Deserves Every Star There…read moreare restaurants you visit and forget, and then there are restaurants that stay with you long after the last bite. Rosanna's is firmly in the second category -- and after an exceptional dinner that left both of us completely satisfied and already planning our return visit, I cannot recommend this place highly enough. From the moment we walked in, the ambience set the tone for the entire evening. Warm, inviting and thoughtfully designed, Rosanna's strikes that rare balance between intimate and lively -- the kind of space that feels equally suited for a romantic dinner for two or a celebratory night out with people you love. The lighting is soft without being dim, the energy is buzzing without being overwhelming, and every detail of the room communicates that this is a place that genuinely cares about the experience it creates for its guests. The service matched the atmosphere perfectly. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu -- not in a rehearsed, corporate way but in the way that only happens when staff actually love where they work and believe in what they're serving. Questions were answered with confidence and warmth, dietary considerations were handled graciously and without any fuss, and the pacing of the meal felt exactly right. Not rushed, not forgotten -- just perfectly timed. It is the kind of service that makes you feel like a valued guest rather than just another table to turn over. Now the food -- where do we even begin. We started with the Shrimp Balls and they were an immediate knockout. Perfectly seasoned, beautifully presented and gone far too quickly. The arugula dip alongside them was bright and fresh -- a genuinely clever pairing that elevated what could have been a simple appetizer into something memorable. This dish alone would be worth coming back for. For mains we ordered the Wild Mushroom Risotto -- elevated with a grilled shrimp skewer addition that turned an already outstanding dish into a complete and deeply satisfying meal. The risotto was everything a great risotto should be -- creamy without being heavy, deeply savory with layers of earthy mushroom flavor, finished beautifully with truffled pecorino that added just the right amount of richness. The shrimp skewer on top was perfectly grilled, plump and fresh -- a brilliant pairing with the earthiness of the mushrooms. Our dining companion ordered the Boneless Beef Short Ribs which arrived tender, deeply flavorful and beautifully plated -- the kind of dish that makes you close your eyes on the first bite. What makes Rosanna's truly special is that everything works together -- the room, the service, the food and the overall feeling of being genuinely well taken care of. This is not a restaurant that relies on one strong element to carry the others. Every component earns its place. Whether you are celebrating something special, treating someone you love or simply in search of a great dinner in wonderful company -- Rosanna's delivers on every level. Do yourself a favor and make a reservation. You will not regret it. And the pellegrino soda was great I got the blood orange! And we took the olive oil orange cake to go yum!

We went to Delmonico's Italian Steakhouse last weekend with a party of 10. Our group meets up once a month and tries a new place each time. I had been here once before over the summer and had a great experience then. That time we were seated in one of the alcove style rooms. It is not fully private but it definitely feels like your own space, and it added a lot to the atmosphere. The food and service were excellent on that visit, and the birthday person in our group loved the theming of the room. This time we were supposed to be seated in the Sinatra room. After our reservation time passed, the hostess came over and explained they had made a mistake with the room booking and it was not available. They moved us to a large table in the main dining area and offered us four appetizers on the house to make up for it. That immediately smoothed things over, and no one in our group had any issues after that. Mistakes happen, it is how a place handles them that matters, and they handled this very well. The main dining area has a nice ambience, but it is a bit noisy compared to the alcove spaces. Food wise, we had a wide range, steaks, chicken, veal, and some gluten free options. Most of the group had alcoholic drinks, while a few of us stuck with soda and water. One friend said the cola he got at the bar while we waited was flat and he skipped it after that. I tried a soda at the table and mine was fine. He later had a lemon lime soda, not sure if it was 7Up or Starry, and had no complaints, so it is possible they changed out the CO2 in between. Service really stood out. It is not easy to manage a table of 10, but our waitress was outstanding and very friendly. We were served in a timely manner, and several people commented on both the portion sizes and the quality of the meals. A few in our group even said they felt the pricing was a bargain for what you get. Overall, we will definitely be back. Scheduling errors and things out of the staff's control happen anywhere, but many places either do not apologize or do nothing to fix it. Here, they did both, and their solution was more than generous. Kudos to them. 4 stars.

Then the food... 2 of us ordered filet mignon it came out burnt and over done it looked like a burnt hamburger very thin (not the way a medium and medium rare filet should be obviously) Who let that even leave the kitchen! The waitress noticed right away and sent them back - manager came over and said oh sorry it depends on who's in the kitchen - what? Wow blew our minds -- ok so the next one came out still black but cooked a bit better - no filet should be black they apparently smooched it on a grill ugh! I tried a slice and it was very sweet with lots of creamy cheese flavor and a lot of arugula on top. My other companions had full portions of pasta dishes and seemed to enjoy them. We shared Arancini as an appetizer. That was my favorite bite of the night! As the waiter said they were addictive with smoked mozzarella and a good marinara to dip them in. We were served average Italian bread with olive oil pesto dip to start. The cocktail specials were very impressive . I ordered a seasonal maple bourbon drink. It was nicely bitter with touches of warm sweetness from the maple and orange slice. A nice festive experience. One of the owners/managers came over to see if we were enjoying ourselves.
